Hey fellow gardeners, Unfortunately, I couldn't complete this diary earlier because was busy with family stuff and work. So finally here we go with the last chapter of this wonderful grow session. Thanks for Barneys for another masterpiece, we had a truly unforgettable journey with this breed. Its a bit difficult to remember after so long time but we try to collect the most important feelings and thoughts.🌞 So i decided to choose this time a hybrid strain to complement our most sativa collection. The seeds germinated in no time and we were able to put them in the first small pot after only 3 days, after another 3 days except one, they emerged from the soil so the fun could begin. The vegetative phase was actually easy and vigorous, but we made a mistake that made it a little longer than planned. Luckily the broken main stem healed really fast so this extra week wasn't so bad. In this phase we had an experience that we never had before, and yes this was the 13 finger leaf which means that the plants seem doing very well.🌱😎 When we entered the flowering period I was afraid they wouldn't stretch enough as other growers reported. Luckily these ladies got lanky and even didn't want to stop the stretching, which was cause for concern because the time for the last defoliation and lollypop session was almost there. At around day 23 of flowering we made the last trainings and we finally could sit back and watch the magic happen. It was really touching and lovely to see how the colors and aromas change from week to week as autumn approaches. Basically, we could distinguish two phenotypes. One with the purple silk on the leaves and a smaller but rock hard bud structure. The smell of this lady was more pine and sweet at the same time. The other 3 ladies were pretty much the same when it comes to smell and bud structure. Sweet and fruity aromas were characteristic here. Apart from the previous ones, both phenotypes were characterized by cinnamon scent throughout the whole flowering period. It can definitely be said that it is the most frosty variety i have ever grown. I am really satisfied with the outcome in every aspects. First the purple pheno went to darkness with our DWC lady and after two days the other 3. Dried them for 7 days at 21 degrees and 60% humidity and for another 5 days at 50% humidity.⚔️ Trimming these variety was a bit challenging threw the closed bud structure but it wort all the time. We ended up with 368 grams of juicy, rock hard dried buds and 48 grams of larf and popcorn. After placed it into glass jars with Boveda 62% humidity pack. Was a very pleasant strain to grow. Well… after 12 days of drying we went for curing. As I am doing this smoke report after 4 months I can clearly define the final flavours and aromas. The flavours from #Pheno 1 which is the mostly purplish are more sour and gassy with a sharper taste on exhale. The high is more sedative and makes you sleepy but not couch locked at all. Buds are smeller sized but rock hard. The other 3 gals tastes more like a fresh lime juice with minty and sweet ice cubes in it. Definitely the most terpene rich strain I’ve ever grown. The smoke is leaning more to a hybrid stoned feeling which is very good for muscle pain and helps to fall asleep. At the exhale is more creamy and smooth with gassy undertone. Nugs are bigger in size and except one plant are dense and compact. The high lasts long and keeps me focused however it hits hard for the body as well. I would say this is a great after work strain so not for those days when there is a lot to do haha….
