Should I defoliate the canopy a bit? The canopy is super dense and I’m sure there are some bud sites that are missing out on light, I’m also concerned about airflow to the buds. Is there a risk in defoliating at this stage in the grow, should I just let her do her thing?

Hi @KA_LE! Well, there's always a risk of stress, especially if you tuck too many leaves at a time, but if you do it slightly and remove only 3-5 leaves by week, your plant should be fine. Your plant is extremely bushy and a defoliation will obviously reinforce the airflow and the light penetration. However take a moment to think twice before removing each leaf, and remember your plant won't generate new leaves at this stage. Go ahead, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

You can always just let her go, she at least looks very healthy. However when looking through your photos that was my 1st opinion was that the plant had an extremely leafy canopy and that i hope you'll give the plant a small haircut to loosen things up and open up that top slightly. Maybe a nice 15-20% of the excess leaves would be perfect. Happy flowering.

Hello ! Well you'r right : some bud sites can't get enough light as you cannopy is blocking light. But as you'r on the flowering stage remove leaves is not the best to do at that stage , I would recommend you to knit your leaves together rather than cutting them ( you can remove a few of them but can't defoliate like she was in veg). I hope it will help you 😁👍
