Their fun to do for bragging rights but the effort is not worth the investment IMO.
Yields are small
You invest a lot of time into a small single plant
If you're not doing a whole slew of them its a waste of space in the grow tent and lighting cost/energy.
Inefficient cost per seed/harvest ratio, clones makes work better if you take them yourself but to purchase seems dumb.
All that being said, I one day will probably do one of them as I am curious, but I don't see myself aiming for that anytime soon, more of a back burner thing.

I have done several solo cups, and even a beer bottle. These are very demanding grows, and will test your abilities growing in a limited space.

The tip of the leaves is getting yellow. 2 plants have the leaves pointing down and seem more textured and tick. Questions about wateringI created a 40 ml solution, the instructions say to transplant after the sprout has grown to the top of the plastic cover and the roots are visible through the plug. The question is, is 40 ml of liquid enough for this growth? I think not.

I added mycorrhiza to the coco coir from a local store. It turned out that there is slow release fertilizers in it. Was not indicated on the packaging.Please Help!
First time after watering with 5.7pH 400ppm drainage water was 6.7pH and 800ppm. I flushed her to 400ppm.
Yesterday was the second watering (450ppm, 5.7pH) and drain was 700ppm 6.7pH. I flushed her to 460ppm (1.5l of water), but pH still 6.6
How to fix it?

Cola growing again after to much light while flowering?In the last 2 weeks of flowering this plant seems to have started to grow at the top of the cola again. Lefft the lights on 5 hours too long 1 night. Also needed to do some maintenance etc in the same week. Maybe to much light (DLI) and starterd growing again for short while?
