So I'm growing this autoflower Royal Dwarf, she's doing great but my question is-- Is there such a thing as TOO much praying?? My true leaves R almost pointing straight up now.Is that a good sign? What is the seedling telling me when the true leaves pray UP UP ?

The way it is turnt towards window, I would say they're seeking more light.

This seedling is saying transplant me into a bigger pot and give me more light. Praying hands are a healthy sign in all cases I have ever seen. She will be fine, autos don’t like any kind of setbacks generally because their life span is short.

First yes to much spray can hurt. But if potted in a good media like coco and perlite then the plant will be ok. Just make sure it's damp and do it 2 or 3 times a day. Allow top of soil or media to dry then redo it. Secondly sticking up is called praying. It means the environmental conditions are great. The Temps and humidity are dialed in, and this particular strain likes the conditions you have it in. Although it's praying, It's still quite stretching and needs more light. Since this is a auto I would Transplant it IMMEDIATELY into its forever home, I run 3 gallon fabric pots. Transplant with extreme caution. If you have any of these... Mycos, DynoMyco or GreatWhite ... shake it onto the rootball around the soil and place it in the forever home. You need to get it under a grow lights asap. I run my 670w led at 100% but it's in the tip top of my 4x4 tent. You can turn light down to 20-30% but you will need to lower the light closer to the baby plant. Goodluck message me for any help you need. Please select me as the answer to this question so I can be entered for a chance to win grower of the month contest i would appreciate your support 🙏 please and thank you

When your cannabis seedling's leaves are pointing upward, also known as "praying," it's generally a positive sign. This behavior indicates that your plant is receiving sufficient light, and it's actively photosynthesizing. It's a natural response as the plant seeks to maximize light absorption. For autoflowers like Royal Dwarf, it's crucial to provide them with adequate light throughout their life cycle. As long as your plant looks healthy, vibrant, and there are no signs of stress (such as leaf discoloration or wilting), the upward orientation of the leaves is likely a positive indicator of vigorous growth. Keep monitoring your plant's overall health and adjust environmental conditions if needed. If your Royal Dwarf continues to exhibit healthy growth, there's no need to worry about the leaves pointing upward—they're simply reaching for the light! 🌿🌞

Hi! Your plants clearly needs more light. But you also need to change your seedling pots, before something bad happens to the root. Avoid cardboard who can carry mold, rat piss… and prefer plastic, more neutral, like yogurt pots with adding a lot of drain holes in the bottom. Also, don't put too much soil in your pots and be careful to not overwatering: roots need air (a bit) and grow when looking for water, so you have to wait until the substrat is dry enough until feeding your plant again (I don't water the first days if the soils is already wet enough for example).

Generally when they are slightly pointed up, they are referred to as "praying leaves". Happy and praying with joy. :) The issue I see here is the seedling is very long. It appears to want more light. It also could be logical to believe the leaves are reaching for more light too. I would also get them out of those pots as soon as they are strong enough to do so. Autoflowers explode with growth and you'll need to be ready to supply the plant with nutrients or the plant will not thrive. I would use a minimum of 3 gallon pot size. I use 25/30 gallon pots... The roots need room to grow and breath.

it can be a sign of too much light or too little, yes.. usually common sense can easily eliminate one of the possibilities i'd assume this plant wants more. it'll start stretching too much, if i'm right.
