What is a good dehumidifier for 1,2x1,2 and the same area is free in the room. It is a relative dry basement room. At the moment I got around 60-70%. Next week I want to switch to 12h light 💡 Any recommendations for a unit which I can get in Europe. Thank a lot

I live in Europe and I use a "Greenmigo" dehumidifier that I bought on amazon. I only used it during one grow so far but it worked pretty well! The humidity in the room will greatly depends on the quantity and size of your plants. The technical details of the dehumidifer are available in the germination week of my last diary growdiaries.com/diaries/182640-grow-journal-by-smokingtiki/week/1033388 You can also have a look at my dehumifier settings and humidity in the room every weeks to see if it can help you with your own set-up. Good luck!

A 50-pt dehum (american standards for rating -- revised in last 5-7 years, older model would be "70pt") can handle up to a 4x8 to 5x10 area. That's runing constantly and barely keeping up. you are better off going larger than you need. a 4x4 canopy and a 50-pt size dehum would work well.. It may cost more upfront, but longevity and potentially more efficient makes it worthwhile in the long-run. 1 size down would probably be okay too. i know this is american store, but gives a point of reference -- https://www.homedepot.com/p/Frigidaire-50-pt-1200-sq-ft-High-Humidity-Dehumidifier-with-Bucket-in-White-FFAD5034W1/325191675 -- seen that as low as 180-229 USD, the 279 price is absurd unless inflation has really hit it hard. but can compare specs... useful to correctly size what you buy. A step down in size would probably work fine. Though a cellar/basement has more ambient RH not produced by plants than anywhere else in the house, so you have to mitigate that factor too. The 4x8 to 5x10 canopy i refer to is in the winter with ambient 30-35% RH.
