Today first day of 3rd week i tryed second FIM on this plant after the early one. I am only trying to learn so not sure for now that i am doing good but hope for better. Pure Ice cream is doing great under the Spider Farmer G5000/UVR40 lights. She is growing strong and looking healthy. She has a pigment mutation going on in one leaf. Beside that she was trained, and is set to go for another week. Oct 19: warm October continues and this plant will be harvested in a few days. Three days with snow starting 3 days from now so that’s it for the season. Drilled a couple of holes in the trunk. Idea is to stress the plant to spur trichome production. Did this before and not entirely sure it helps, but why not? Oct 20: these buds are getting stinkier and frostier just in time for the season here to end. Smell was quite noticeable this morning so I’ve bumped it up to Strong. All the buds are looking fairly frosty too so this Gelato is finishing strong. 👍👍 Oct 21: harvest day because in two days, Monday, it will be below zero all day and likely snow. Oh well, a longer than expected season allowed this gelato to finish fairly well. Trichomes are still white, and actually I rarely see amber trikes on my plants and I think that’s due the weak sunlight here in the fall. My best option here is to aim to harvest by the end of September. This plant was not billed as being fast flowering so I expected it to be a bit slow, plus it is a sativa pheno, so I feel lucky that it has finished as well as it did. The weather here was definitely good for cannabis this year with the only real hassle being wildfire smoke.

Good first week, plants have been growing well. When mixing up the ingredients and pouring them into the sprayer, I noticed they made a stream or vapour, wondered if that will cause any issues with the plants or what it was. All the seeds have sprouted as well so happy about that. This is a combo of week 1 and 2

Two 27 gallon RDWC system, was initially for two plants but after issues with germination and this seed sprouting exceptionally fast, I decided to commit to this one. Two 1000 watt LEDs, one Bloom/Veg switch, one full spectrum with brightness knob. Have third that is bloom/veg switch 600w to put in middle over reservoir when growing two. 8" net pots to allow more spaced out root system in such a big container with 4 air stones. 1110GPH air pump, with 4 air stones to each tote, 70GPH water pump. Initially top fed, until roots are developed enough.
