Travelling in 3weeks for 3 wks so either
1. chop in 1 week, dry 1 wk and cure plus burp 1 wk before away.
2. Chop in 3wks and leave to dry for 3wks while away (it's 55 humidity ish here now)
3. Don't chop, leave to dry in the pot in 3 weeks and slowly dry out.
I had a similar issue this summer with some outdoor grow. I harvested my autos and left them to dry while I was away (your option 2). It worked out well.
