What the hell is this stuff?! It’s everywhere!!! Even on the underneath the container lid!!! Zero light was getting in and lots of oxygen and cool water. HELP

That light cover is cardboard, should be plastic. The mist rising from the container meets the cardboard that is organic material --> something will grow. In this case, looks like mold.

I already use Hydroguard. I have worked so hard and spent so much money on this plant and now I think I have to throw it away. 🙁

Could be a chemical reaction from the metal. Looks like mold though. Treat the res with h2o2 and pray. Use hydroguard or something similar to protect your roots. Not much else can be done. Take out the entire system and scrub it if possible.

I've always gone from root cube directly to 3-gallon pots. I can't compare the difference with transplanting from solo cups because I don't have any experience. Have any of you found a significant advantage to adding an extra transplant? I figure 3-gallon pots aren't THAT big.Roots. Other

Roots at the base of stock above soilJust noticed what appears to be roots at the base of the stock after watering. Should these be covered back up from the light? Does it matter? Mold on roots, seedlingI have a fat banana auto, in a 1.5 l put cut out bottom because I'm planing on transplanting it to bigger pot as soon as my other auto finished off. (About 2 more weeks) . Today i discovered the roots are already touching bottom of the cut out pot. Is this mold on the roots??
