Sprouting delay. How long do I wait? Are lights on and fans running important while waiting for germinated seeds to sprout? I lightly water the medium.

Germinated autos by paper towel method, & put them in soil 2 days ago. The still haven't sprouted out of the soil. How long should I wait? I'm trying to keep humidity between 60-70% and temperature 20-24C. The LEDS are on 18/6 and the fans are running for the pots. What do I do?

Just wait and be patient! They will pop just takes some time for them to do their thing. I usually plant in soil after germinating for 3 days and they always pop above soil level within 4-5days

I used to use the paper towel method, but I found that soaking the seeds for 14 hours, then planting directly into the soil gave me much better results. I've been on a 100% germination rate since I started doing that, with the seeds breaking the soil in 3-4 days. But don't worry, if they were sprouted when you planted them, they will pop up in due time. Happy growing.

Hey they should be popping up real soon. How long was the tap root in the paper towel before you put them in soil. That will change how long it takes them to come up. I try and wait till the tap root is 2cm before moving them to my medium. Also with your autos you can start to finish them on 20/4 light cycle. Happy growing
