I wouldnt go from say soil to coco or v.v (pH, calmag issues etc), but if you want to transplant from shit soil into a better soil mix then it is still risky with an auto cause they hate being transplanted but may prove beneficial long term.
What is wrong with your current medium?

I watered 3 or 4 days ago, with water, and it's not draining as quickly as I'd like. Still seems quite heavy... Just worried about root rot.
The soil is good quality soil. Could I use something like Cannazym to 'free up the soil'.

Worth keeping goingMy plants in reveg at 5 weeks and I'm hoping it's fixed but is it worth trying to flower her out now or instead scrap her and fill with clones. She's drinking 2.5 gallons a day, so is bud going to form in a reasonable time and not grow to big for the space.
