Trichomes evaluation

Hello, in the last page of my diary (20), I uploaded some photos of Trichomes that I took with microscope. I believe that they are not ready for my usage (insomnia is my condition) and that I should wait until they are some milky and some amber. Can someone confirm my intuition?

You're intuition is right!
they are pretty clear, but a handful have started to turn.
For your condition, you're going to want the trichomes to be 50% cloudy and 50% amber. This will give you that great couch lock feeling and help you catch some zzzs.
I would say it should be a week or two when it will be ready to harvest, but keep an eye on those trichomes. as soon as it hits 50/50, chop it.

If your goal is sleep definitely wait longer 50% amber is the rule of thumb. Though the more amber you have the more sedative and body feeling you get. The more white the more energetic and heady it is.

If your goal is to get more sleepy, take more time for sure! If you check the sugar leaves the trichomes will appear more amber and mature, if you check the bud itself will look less developed, I'd argue to wait 1 more week from today and check trichomes again, if you see very few amber (less than 10%), wait another week, wait for at least 20-30% amber to chop

Looking live at plant 3-4 weeks, then start checking maturity, she is still making flowers, not bulking even ;)))

Yes you are right I go for Chop when I see All are Milky and 2 or 3 amber on each nug or so this tells me I’m mostly Milky some Amber But for your condition I’d look for 6-8 Amber per nug since more Amber is gonna lean you more to that “Couch Lock” effect just use your grower instincts they have done great for you so far 😊 good luck and I hope this helps

Yes most wait for cloudy and turning amber trichomes then start to flush for a week to 10 days so you cut them down with about 30% amber roughly..
Yours look like there clear and starting to go cloudy so keep a close eye on them over the next week or so 👍
