Transplant autoflower in bloom

Targona

I have a question. One of my plants is not doing well. It is small, yellow and in the wrong pot. I would like to transplant it into a new textile pot and new soil. I'm just afraid that the stress won't make her a hermaphrodite, she's already 29 days old in bloom. Thanx

Never transplant a auto. They can't handle the stress, if it doesn't go perfect. I don't think it needs more nitrogen in its diet. Likely more potassium if anything. Checking ph would be the first thing I would do.

if severely rootbound, it might be worth it... try not to disturb rootball and the plant shouldn't freak out too much. of the hundreds of plants i've transplanted, i don't think i've every seen transplant shock. small sample reduces some confidence, but seems rare to me. you are in soilless so pot size isn't as detrimental as it can be with soil. i'd wager what you see is more nute-related than the size of the pot... or the size of the pot is highlighting an issue with nute formula that under better circumstances would not be an issue, yet, due to limited size of put relative to size of plant (rootbound). i've had a plant in a solo cup that was only 2/3rds filled soilless substrate for 3 months before they started to show issues in leaves... due to roots not working properly at that point, lol. soilless/hydro nutes more efficiently feed the plant, so you don't need as large of a pot to avoid rootbound issues.

You don’t transplant Autoflowering genetics. It won’t solve the problem. Try a foliar spray ( avoiding the bud ) with amino acids and some Nitrogen. At this stage it’s the only way to add Nitrogen into a flowering Cannabis plant.

Transplanting a plant once it has entered the flowering stage is generally not recommended, as it can cause significant stress and potentially harm the plant. It's best to transplant during the vegetative stage or before the flowering stage begins to ensure a smoother transition. 🍻
