If you are fertilizing with any products that are laced with PGR's this can sometimes have an effect on plants going hermi, The one that I know of is Gibberellic acid aka GA3, This is not normally present in fertilizers though, and on a regular day fertilizers do not cause plants to hermi, full stop. If you are not getting your seeds from a good reseller then its likely your starting genetics that is the issues. And useing seeds from plants that go hermi is a big no no, its just prolonging the problem. Almost all house brands of seeds from seedbanks are white label seeds, meaning they are bought in bulk and ladled as their own for resale, In fast most brands are also doing this. They contract out the breeding for them and then just slap their label on it once the product is produced. Very few brands are doing their own breeding in house. That's not to say house brands are always shit, as they are not, but a lot of the time they are. real hit n miss sometimes. I grew out some nice house branded seeds from Seedsman last year, peyote WiFi CBD 2:1 ratio. it was a good plant and from bulk reselling. I also grew out some meh plants from Dr.Seeds that are bulk seeds. Some suck some are ok, The brands buying them normally know this. Some of the worst seed banks out there are Expert Seeds and Garden Of Green, they release tons of stains every year and that's just not possible if you have any standards of quality, it takes time and effort/money to hone in a good genetic lineage for seeds. their seeds they sell also hermi a lot as they don't put any time into testing them. If the seeds your growing came from bag seed its not great, they are almost always prone to being hermi. Go out and get some better seeds from a known brand. If you need help with that ask aorund who can be trusted in terms of brands and then go from there. Nothing is ever 100% guaranteed to not turn hermi, some of the aspects of plants going hermi is its environmental stress but it should be a last resort for the plant not the first line of defence to stress. better steeds and genitics stop a lot of the inherited traits of going hermi right away from any stress. Good Luck!

Hermies have nothing to do with fertilizers......... it basically comes down to genetics and the quality of the seeds/breeder......... I would, going on my own past experience, avoid sdsman, they are not breeders, they just repackage bulk seeds bought in from who-knows-where,.......probably the cheapest offering. You can change fertilizers without going through any processes, just change, the plant does not care which bottle the ntrients came from and will only seek out what it needs, regardless of the brand/source of fertilizers. Otherwise, there is something wrong in your set up, like light leaks, but without referring this question to a specific grow and a dedicated diary, not enough information makes it almost impossible to offer meaningful advice.

Don't bother....your feed isn't causing hermaphroditism, it's in your genetics. A variety of stressors get blamed for it but it's not really the root cause. If you're using F1 hybrids it just comes with the territory, F1s aren't stabilized. I would order seeds from a different breeder. Some stabilize their stock better than others. I've NEVER encountered a hermie in one of my home grows in nearly 30 years and only a handful at work. Key to my success? Good genetics.
