Techniques acquired!! Guys... we really need some rain. The area were in is experiencing record high temperatures and its getting hotter and hotter everyday. :( Nevertheless the girls have prevailed and come out strong! A moment of silence please for ben, she will be missed..... Now it's time for techniques. The LST is the main technique we are trying to go for and it seems to be working well for them. The HST was not intentional lol I just accidentally bent Osaka's stem and she started to flourish so I tried it on Prince and it seems to be working very well. Don't you just love how resilient plants are?? Were still keeping the watering to the same and the nutrient level did go up a little but only for the ones that are still standing...

Sie sieht soweit gut aus, aber spargelt ein wenig. Vielleicht liegts daran, dass sie erst gegen 11 Uhr direkte Sonne bekommt.

Hey everyone! Welcome to our second grow journal! We're growing the same strains as in the first journal, but this time, we plan to only top the plants. They're in 18-liter pots, and you'll be able to follow their progress here as well. These plants are 20 days younger than the ones in the first grow, so it'll be interesting to compare their development. Stay tuned for updates!

The plants were repotted in their final pots of 7l. Growth has continued to increase strongly and I will top them all tomorrow. I have decided to keep all the plants. I haven't fertilized them yet but I will start this week. The watering water has only been slightly adjusted with Epsom salts and CalMag and the pH value lowered from 7.5 to 7.0.

- upped light intensity to ca. 600 PPFD by taking of the domes of the E27 LEDs - performed LST and defoliated larger leaves that were blocking the new nodes; snapped the main stem from Forbidden Cherry #1. Damn. She survived, but so much pain. Stupid beginner mistake. She´ll recover! - Otherwise, great growth, no other issues.

📆 Week 17, 14-20 May 2024 14 May - Defoliated yellowing and older leaves. 15-16 May - Observed and let the plant mature. 17 May - Decreased DLI to help mature buds. 📑 Another decision was made to defoliate more yellowing and older leaves. There are plenty of green leaves left and the light now penetrates to the bottom buds. With about 2 weeks left in flower, this gives her ample time to get as close to matureing as a whole plant as possible. It was also time to start lowering the DLI slightly. 🍶 14 May changed nutrient solution 🍽️ 14 May updated feeding schedule 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient Solution EC 1.7 at 70 degree F 🔆 Light power: one at 75%, and one at 50%, DLI 35-40 canopy coverage at 12hrs 😤 Using General Hydroponics, HGC728040, Dual Diaphragm Air Pump, 320 GPH That is it for this week. Thanks for the look, read and stopping by.

Edit from 19th May. Literally 00:09 Pre-Flowering. Fat Banana looks like Hermie. Royal Critical = clean pre-flower. Edit from 19th May. 16:26 Fat Banana had balls sack and pistils growing all over the place. I nuked everything that had balls on it. I left only top node with pistils. Royal Critical is full of pistils, no balls. Now I wish I had photoperiod seeds instead of automatics. I would give Critical 1 extra week in veg. She is around 10-15cm smaller then Fat Banana. I switched the lights back to 400W. Edit from 20th May. 14:45 I think 32C is maximum what these plants can handle. With 600W I was reaching 34C on some top leaves and that could possibly turn the Fat Banana into hermit (she was the tallest). I open the tent a little (front doors), I put big-ass fan on second gear blowing strong wind through the mesh-window of a tent. I put the lights straight up to the ceiling, I literally can't put them any higher. Fat banana is now 58cm tall and around 80cm away from the light. Royal Critical is now 41cm tall and around 100cm away from the light. 50% Humidity 28C under the canopy/on the ground under the leaves 31C Air temperature. Fat Banana fan leaves temperature: 28.5C Fat Banana center/middle of the plant: 30.9C Royal Critical fan leaves temperature: 27.5C Royal Critical center/middle of the plant: 27.8C NOTE: Royal Critical ugly/yellow leaves have higher temp: 29-30C The rest of small plants range from 28 and 32C Surface area/soil temperature DRY: 35C Surface/Soil temp. WET/SHADOW: 28-29C That pistol/laser for checking temps was solid purchase. I can see back of my tent is more hot then other areas. Will do more Temp-Checks in the future. I also deleted few things from "Condition" tab because one day they are correct, the other something change and the info is not accurate anymore. I'll update info here in edits. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Farm Control Sheet Date: 20th May 2024 Time: 16:57 Tent status: Side doors little bit open. Both windows fully open. Fan blowing air on second gear outside the tent, West window. Fan insides on full. Lights power: 400W Lights schedule: 18/6 Humidity: 50% Dry soil temp: 35C Wet soil temp:
 28.5C Fan leaves temp: 28.5C
Center of the flower temp: 30C
Stem temp: ~32C
Air temp. Inside tent: 30-32C
Air temp. Outside tent: 25.5C
Air temp. Outside house:
 21C

day 1 - flower week 6 has now started and i want to H²O stress her in the next 2-3 weeks in hope to get her metabolism to work faster. it works by fakeing that the plant has a dry year and might not have enought water to stay alive till she can reproduce. so she starts to work faster and goes turbo (bro science explainaition). thats what i want to try here so dont expect it to work out perfectly. i watered her every day before this week and i will reduce by about 40%. i will still spray the soil every day a little bit when the light turns on but only every other day she will get her usual water dosage (about 600-700ml)
