Afghan Original was developed by crossing several Afghani Indica landraces, so thereโ€™s only 100% Afghani cannabis genetics behind it. Potent, sturdy and perfect for novice growers as well as more experienced enthusiasts with bigger demands. A resin production champion it can be conveniently used for hasheesh making! Afghan Original has been probated by hundreds of growers and proven a sturdy, fast growing Indica that yields heavily and can sustain minor mishaps. Afghan Original can be regarded as โ€œthe very Afghani cannabisโ€ that any devoted stoner feels obliged to try at least once! Mostly grown out of doors, but Afghan Original works for indoor growing just as brilliantly. Perfect choice for hydroponic/aeroponic setups, green houses and even balconies! Provide at least 18-20 litres for a full-size root system if using soil or substrate. Feel free to make Afghan Original cannabis bushier by using any training techniques such as LST, FIM or topping, ScroG or SoG, mainlining or supercropping. About 35-50% increase in yielding can be expected after training! Resistant to molds. Insect pests are guarded away with aggressive hashy stench โ€“ another superpower of Afghan Original! Sometimes plants need supports further into flowering to stay vertical (weighy colas). Outdoor harvesting time is late September โ€“ early October.

This week the leaves were removed again so that the flowers all get the same amount of light. I had to tie down one of the two plants, otherwise it would grow too close to the light. The growth phase is now definitely underway and the plants are concentrating on forming the flowers. The flowers have already become much thicker and the first leaves are sugared :) No fertilizer was added this week, just 2ml/l Neem Oil.

The mites started progressing on the other 3 as well gonna go ahead and chop first thing tomorow am before it gets any worst.. them lil bastards sure do take the wind outta your sails.. once everything is dried gonna b going scorched earth on their ass. Luckily it never got bad enough to web up any colas but Iโ€™m not taking any more chances after this little learning experience and will b running some preventatives in any future grows

Day 23: Both plants are still recovering from the strong pre-fertilization of the soil. Pheno 2, which was weak since it pierced the surface still has a very hard time. I wonder if it will recover eventually... EDIT: Just saw that pheno 1 is already preparing to flower as first pistils emerged during the last 24 hours. Pheno 2 doesn't show any of such signs.

๐Ÿ“† Week 18, 21-27 May 2024 21-27 May - Observed and let the plant mature. ๐Ÿ“‘ At this point in the grow there is nothing much left to do except observe the plant and let it finish maturing. Although the bud size is somewhat smaller than anticipated, they appear tight and very uniform. The trichomes overall are 80% milky/10% amber/10% clear. Almost all pistil hairs are dark, and her smell has peaked with a sweet pine, gas, fruity scent. This was the last week of flower and sheโ€™s ready for the final week of flush and harvest. ๐Ÿถ 21 May changed nutrient solution ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ 21 May updated feeding schedule ๐Ÿ’ง Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 ๐Ÿ‰ Nutrient Solution EC .9 at 70 degree F ๐Ÿ”† Light power: one at 75%, and one at 50%, DLI 35-40 canopy coverage at 12hrs ๐Ÿ˜ค Using General Hydroponics, HGC728040, Dual Diaphragm Air Pump, 320 GPH That is it for this week. Thanks for the look, read and stopping by.

Week 3-4 Got plenty of rain over the weekend so I'm sure I won't have to water for a few days. The plants have a nice natural canopy of trees above the greenhouse and we decided to take the roof part of the greenhouse off so the plants can breathe and get adequate air flow. I have the fans blowing on them to keep air circulating to strengthen the stem and to keep pests from landing. The sun makes the plants look yellow in the video, they are not yellow anywhere just to be clear. They seem to be doing great but this is my first rodeo and my sister who has experience seems to think they are coming along nicely and should do just fine. Let's hope so ๐Ÿคž

Hey think today is the 37th day the weather is still bad, way too much rain hardly any sun. Today is really the exception and next week it should continue with the rainy weather.... Lamp is gone for 5 days, is too stressful for me. is also only diy waterproof so rather not suitable for outside...in any case, it stands again and also slowly gets color...in any case, it smells everything by far..rarely such a strong and verry good smell! Well done guys from fastbuds...today only water and a little ocean side compost, azomite, feather meal top dress

I put her on a box and put my lamp higher, so that she still gets around 40 DLI and that on the ground is a level of round about 15 DLI. I did this, so that I can use the tent for the first weeks of Veg. from my NL outdoor grow. I increased the amound of fertulizer and the yellow leafes are completly disappeared. Also the buds are growing much bigger. I am very happy with her right now.
