well i guess i underestimated the peat pellets inside my light mix and overwatered i guess some cups... or planted the seeds to deep into them, i am not 100% sure.
the seeds from my last harvest have been the first ones out along the ice cream cake and the acapulco gold. i moved them direct under the lights and the other ones stayed in the propagator box where i had a temperature of 22 celsius. a blueberry and a jack popped but looked a bit weak. my bonus seeds the Mac1 popped all in the ground but the root rot killed it i guess like one of the blueberrys and jacks as well. i guess i should't had watered them when i moved the others out. it was to damp with the still pretty moist peat pellet. first time i am using them and guess i have to pay the price...
the weak blueberry and jack damped off by the end of week without further waterings, but they never looked good anyway. have to restart two of each seeds again. stupid me...
the cbdivine seeds never popped even in the soil not after a week. this is disappointing!
i give them one more chance and order an additional seed pack because i really want to try this strain for it's medical benefits.
i added a dimmer to my lights and had them first at 45cm and at 0% i wanted to try if it would be enough to support the growth behind my window but it was not strong enough. the seedlings started to stretch as you can see.
i turned up to 100% and lowered to 35cm wich was a setting that worked out last year by week 5. the plants stopped to stretch and by the end of week i turned it down to 80% to see if the y
start to stretch again. i would like to find out on what kind of dim setting i can hang down the lamp to like 20-25 cm in this early stage to safe some energy.
a far from perfect start. bummer that so many seeds damped off, try again... but happy to see the barneys farm seeds shine as well as some of my collected ones from last year. i germinated 12 and got 9 seedlings. wonder how they gonna grow and develop. doing this only to observe and hand them out to friends that like a plant in the garden just for show and not to consume.
