Yellow centre veins fan leaves

Aussiegreenthumb82started grow question a year ago
Yellowing of the inner vein of fan leaves only. Also sporadic yellowing and blemishes of whole fan leaves but only some, others fine nice and green. All bud leaves and buds don't appear affected. Is it just that she's nearing the end of her life cycle? Or over water/over nute?

The yellow veins are showing a magnesium deficiency and as the plant pulls magnesium from those lower leaves they will slowly die. This can be corrected by adding 1tsp Epsom salts to a gallon of water... either with your regular nutes or when you give plain water... Normally, leaves at the bottom that are dying off will be doing so because they don't get enough light but yours will be doing so because the plant needs more magnesium... so DO correct the problem. If the plant doesn't get this nutrient, it will continue to draw it from the lower leaves to feed the newer growth and the bottom of the plant will suffer. Good luck!

Some more context. Finally got me an EC/TDS meter to try work this thing out. Feeding schedule generally feed with A&B liquid nutes about 3 times a week and water every other day about 1L. I'm religious about maintaining pH for food and water at 5.8. Anyway flushed 2L dH20 and collected run off which had pH 6.8, EC 1.45ms/cm, 724ppm. Is it a worry that pH was 6.8 when I have only ever fed/watered at pH 5.8? 724ppm isn't that high is it does this suggest she is taking up nutes? Anyway I gave her a feed at 1L pH5.8, EC 3.47ms and 1736ppm. I'll do another water flush tomorrow and see what she's absorbed. Should I add water at say pH 5.0 to try bring down coco pH? Hope this helps find the solution peace ✌️
