Day 62. 13 days after the flip to 12/12 and starting to show pistils from the shoots. Leaves are much healthier than before and they're taking to flowering well. I cant get the temperature any lower at the moment so it will just have to do. Although heatwaves are on the way to the UK! Emergency news, I must relocate and the ladies are coming with me! Big task but must remove the net and then they're coming on a journey with me! I am not sure whether I will put the net back on and try to weave them through or if maybe LST is the way to go from here unfortunately..

Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium. I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in the next week +/-. 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she'll be ready by the end of this coming week, and I can't wait! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Day 28: nutrients like plan --------------------------------------------- Not much to say, we are in bloom now. Happy growing 🍌✌️

Week 7 Flower We've finally started flush 💦 on Day 43. I still run EM1 at 1ml/ltr as it goes a long way once activated/stretched. It's always going to be a benefit to keep any microbes you can in the coco. You can also use Mammoth P throughout flush, but due to its price I just stick to EM1 in flush. There's plenty of other microbes that can be used too. I flush around twice the pots' volume at 6pH. But before flooding the pot I slowly pour water through the centre of the pot, around the stem, in order to take a true reading of the ppm and pH of the run off. If the ppm/ec reads a lot higher than your average feeding throughout bloom, then there's been issues such as a lockout, incorrect pH, over feeding etc. This wasn't the case, as this girls' was at the right level. If the pH is too high or low, I adjust the pH of the rest of the water that'll be flushed to try to fix it. Again, this wasn't the case with this girl as she had a perfect pH 👌👍 Just before all of the water has gone through the pot, I take one last reading from her last bit of run off. The ppm should be down to no more than 100ppm for the first flush (+starting ppm of water if using tap water). After the first flush the ppm value of the run off will quickly go all the way down to 0, or at least below 50ppm (+tap water ppm). I use tap water that is between 150-190ppm, but I'm looking to switch to RO as soon as I can. I still get a very good flush, but I think using RO water will be the next step in getting a more thorough flush as it won't contain even the small amount of nutrients and metals that tap water contains (along with any harmful chemicals). Always remember to bubble or let the water sit for 24-48hrs before feeding to your plants. That goes for all feedings in every stage of growth if using tap water. Because I keep fairly low temps in the Den she's starting to turn a beautiful dark purple. Her buds are still swelling and smelling like a nice gassy OG, with hints of citrus/tropical fruits. I'm really looking forward to taking this girl down, but after at least another week! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

So, bubba diagonal has the sweetest smell, almost like a dank og smoothie probably inherited from the purple punch and the true og, Guava cake is the most "weed" smelling like pure good sativa funky ganja, not very tangy but a little more on the cookies side, and the kmintz... probably my favourite, she has just a strong mint-fruit smell. Its a sweet and fresh zkittlish-fruity funk with a slight dank earth background, and the smell is sweet and at the same time slightly "overpowering" in your nose, almost like its rotten sweet fruit. Couple plants at doffeent weeks here's a quick tour of the tent

Clones looking surprisingly good. The mother plant they spawned from was destroyed in veg due to gnat infestation from poor conditions on my part, however clones were taken while she was healthy and thriving. Sorry for the pic quality, the tent is getting crowded during the stretch and it's hard to get single shots of 1 plant because of the trellis. Lesson learned for me personally, stick with 1-2 different strains per tent up to a 4x4.

This week we started to flush after the first signs of proper cloudy trichome cover. Not long now! Plants have been quite heavily defoliated in the top 2/3 of each branch, in an effort to maximize flower growth in the last stages. Considering using ice for the final 48hr blackout. Any ideas welcome. Still piling on mass at a surprising rate and all stinking heavily. GLue Gelato has some sweetness and heavy gas notes, and the cream Caramel, well like name like shtank haha. Close to first ever harvest. It's business time!

Welcome to week 5 of my grow diary. The growth boost has continued. The Sugar Royal in combination with the strong Sativa strain is causing the plant to grow extremely well. This week, I removed a few more leaves so that all shoots get an equal amount of sun. Since I increased the watering to 4 liters, I have less confidence in my support construction for the pot. The weight simply became too high and I didn't want it to break and the plant to fall into the depths. The new place is now on the bench, which will hopefully keep the snails from eating the plant. Now that I have reduced the Epsom salts, the curling of the leaves has decreased and the leaf color has also become lighter. In addition, pre-flowering has begun. See you next week!
