Day 47 or so I haven’t measured her so the height can’t be right she’s huge! And getting so heavy. Took some photos of her in the dark while I pretreated the tent for mites or any other fuckers who like to ruin the day. Just in case. Since I recycled soil it couldn’t hurt. She’s beautiful I’m so excited for her to be finished.

She looks suuper happy and healthy,wonderful strain to grow,she's starting to show the pistils so she'll be in full flower in no time! Let's see how this wonderful lady performs, she smells crazy on her 13th day of flower,she's producing massive resin so far,stinks,I cannot believe how this lady is getting full of cristales so early,can't wait to smoke this 🤤 100% organic and biological grown

I harvested her today, the trichomes were to my liking. She is STINKY, she is definatly taking after her diesel heritage, granted, she does have a super fruity tropical smell. She developed some purple tinges to the calix with the lights out temp in the 60's. Super starchy, and lanky. She needed support 3 weeks into flower. The buds are fat and solid. There was some foxtailing at the end, but its expected. She is super frosty and I'm happy with the outcome thus far. I'm trying out whole plant hang drying instead of individual branch hanging. Definatly saving me some time.

Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common. May the force be with you 💪

So far so good. Today, on 23/8, I fed her with Biobizz Grow for the first time. I think she's been growing at a decent pace even without any fertilizers, so, in order to not risk nute burn, I used a smaller dose than what BioBizz recommends. 27/8 The newer leaves seem as if they are curling up a little bit. Might be because the light is very low. So, I have raised the light a little bit. Let's see how she responds. put on new lights that are more suitable for the veg phase. ------------------- 28/8 So I posted a question regarding a Spot that appeared on one of the leaves. By mistake I selected an answer that might not be adequate to my situation. GrowDiaries does not let you change the selected answer so I am copy-pasting the correct answer here. Bostongirl17 was right because I did spray some Neem Oil on the plant because there were mosquitoes in my room and i even saw a little spider. So it could be that a bigger droplet fell on the leaf and caused that blemish/spot. Bostongirl17: If it’s growing with the leaf- and not at a faster rate. It’s probably just a blemish. Is it possible you splashed them with your nutrients during feeding? 🌱 ----------------------

11/29 - At this point in the game, plants don't ever look much different day-to-day! I'm wondering, though, if this one is showing her starting to fade... it's either that or she's needing some stronger PK nutes... any thoughts? 12/2 - I'm going to start winding her down... gotta pick up some Ripen and some Flawless Finish ... Probably going to have to shorten the period of time I use these products but hell, she's pretty used to me screwing up - LOL! 12/03 - so my local grow store was out of Ripen - so I guess I'm going to forget that one... I'm going to let her go until Tuesday when she will be exactly 13 weeks old and start a 3-day flush using General Hydroponics FloraKleen (they also did not have Flawless Finish!).... Planning to chop her next Saturday unless the amber hasn't really made its presence known... We'll see.... I'm just going to go by what she tells me... but it really IS time, old girl... it really is. 12/04 - Doing a bucket change today, she's going to an EC of 0.2-0.4 or thereabouts and I'm not going to worry about the pH - my tap water is about 7.5 so that's what she's getting unless I relent and drop it to the upper 6's - I'm just not going to overly concern myself with it. I think her bulking has finished and SHE needs to finish up. Found a few amber on leaves in the middle of the plant and I know those can really be rather ignored .... but I'm still concerned about the trichs on the main cola - haven't seen much change between milky and clear for a while now... so it's puzzling to me. Maybe the drop in EC will kick her into truly finishing... if it doesn't, I can always bring the EC back up, the pH back down and keep her going... She's always been my "experiment" - always been my "tester" - so why not experiment at this stage of her life as well?!

August 10th. 57 days post flip. Clones: Clones have been growing very very well. Can confidentially say they are no longer stretching. I no longer have to move them away from the light. There are some tops that are burning but I’m not even worried about it. It’s only a few tops and it looks like I will be getting plenty of bud. I’m expecting another 8 weeks of flower at this point. Decided it was about time to give another shot of nutes. Gave them craft blend, bug 6, some potassium, some epsom salts, cow cal 24, and some recharge. I also changed them to an 11.5 to 12.5 light to night cycle. Doing this to better mimick their home environment. The tops growing above the lights are really really happy about the supplemental lighting I added. Seem to be responding very well. So far plant number 2 and 3 have a bud structure I like. Closer spacing and seem to be better overall for indoor growing. Plant number 4 seems like an absolute monster meant for the outdoors and has the more spear like sativa spacing. At this point I’m just waiting to see how they fatten and how they smoke before I chose my female. I’ve already begun looking at potential candidates for my male hunt to cross my lucky candidate with. I think I might go with something like biker kush from karma. I think that will help tighten up the structure of whatever female I decide to chose. Let me know what you guys think I should hunt for this things mate! Parents: Parents have been growing very well. Low light intensity coupled with fabric pots so they can air prune along with no night cycle leading to stunted roots has allowed me too keep these things in these tiny pots for going on 24 weeks. Going to continue to give nothing but water. Might give some casings or a tad bit of craft blend but for the time being they seem healthy. Watering every 2-3 days. Week 1 of flower is in the books! What a great week of growth! The watermelon Zkittelz is by far my favorite of the 3 so far. She's super tough and bounces back with grace every time she's stressed out. SHE LOVES RETURNING THE LOVE I GIVE HER, CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE FLOWER SHE PRODUCES!! ( SORRY FOR YELLING. IM EXCITED) LOL! No issues this week other than I sucked up a fan leaf in the vacuum when cleaning the tent..next time I wont clean it with them sitting in there..lesson learned lol. She screamed when the leaf got sucked in..I felt so bad!! I'm almost positive Watermelon Zkittelz finally showed her sex and she's confimed a female..unless you see different but I see tons of white pistils coming from her sites..no balls that I can see. Videos are uploading finally 👌🏾 baby's have been switched to bloom nutes ,and moved from the nursery to the main room I decided to build a scrog to help keep the power of the mbap's under control 🌱🌿🌲🌳 was a very easy and cheap build really happy with the quality. Grapewalker kush are booming the one that sprouted already topped I decided to go with main lined kind of training it's gone to a lovely shape , may even put in the scrog who knows The gold glue all I'm gonna say is the topping went down a treat , it has formed really thick stems and branches and seems to be quite tall hopefully this and training will unleash the beast

Yet another fun and eventful week! I did some final defiliation and LST before I flip them next week. I'd love to repot these into 3 gallon pots and veg longer, but I just don't have the space. I should get a good yield anyway. They grew well this week, and filled out nicely. I'm loving the way most of these are developing. The topping worked well and my canopy is looking good on these. I didn't have any problems this week. Everything went well, and I had a great time!

Week 2 and she is fast ! Flowers are developing super nice, she is growing a lot every single day, no slowing down. She is happy in all the ways and she is getting massive, super tall and great structure overall ! Amazing strain so far !
