24/05/2023 - 82 days since my little girl sprouted from a seed🌱 Tenth week of my Larry Bird Kush 🏀🏀🏀 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish - 2ml - I rinse the plants two weeks before harvesting so that they have a clean taste and smell 😋👃🌴 -------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------- Lights: I use a Mars Hydro TS1000 - 150w full spectrum, great light for vegetation and flowering use 💡💡 Training: No training is needed this week In general: My fears were confirmed, Larry has seeds in buds, while no plant has bananas. Apparently I didn't really clean the tent properly after the previous round. Super stoked for last week, watching her flower is pretty incredible, so from pretty much week 9 of veg up till now I've been feeding her half strength base nutrients with fluctuating strengths of sensizym and Cal-Mag always mixed with 8L of basic filtered water. Update January 5 2020. Back from my fishing trip! Happy to say that everything with the durban is going swimmingly, I fed her today 8L with half strength base nutrients and half strength of sensizym. I will probably do one more feeding with sensizym and call it good.. in two-three weeks I will start adding my Overdrive nutrients to my base. January 11 update: Not much going. Just playing the waiting game now. January 13 update: its gotten really cold here, like -37 with wind so I put a ceramic heat emitter back in, now back up to 250w heat running 24/7. Growing in an unheated shop is definitely a challenge! But with the other one in things are picking up and shits drying out finally. Should have put the other heater back in a week ago. My bad. January 15 update: -37!! Holy fu*ck, fed her 3L of mixed nutrients at half strength. With just a splash of overdrive. January 17 update: outside temps finally warming up to -25°c yay!! Inside grow box temps up to 28°c she likes it warm, Fed her the remaining food I had mixed up, she got about 5L. Seeing fattening of the bud sites👀👌 January 19 update: No idea when this happened but it did.. got a crack right at first top. Now I know to leave more of stem above where it splits off into two. Quick tape fix till I figure it out, fed her 5L of mixed food with just under full strength OverDrive and some organic growth plus.. it has a high pk so I'm using it once. More updates to follow. Day 21 of flower (day 72 since germination). The plants have continued to grow at, but the vertical growth slowed down mid week, and I think it is done not. One stem on the middle plant grew past the lights, again, so that stem got supercropped a second time. I found a couple more pollen sacs on the right plant on Tuesday, but I think they were just missed on the first round of plucking, so I removed them. I haven't seen anymore since and I've been checking the full length of every stem. I received a roots organics dry amendment sample pack from Aurora so I top dressed each pot with 1TBSP of Phos Rock and 1TBSP of Super Phos Rock (I only used both because I didn't have enough to feed a full dose of just one). Each plant was also fed 700mL compost tea, today, that was brewed for 24 hours.

This week I'm flipping to flower I tried to hold the diesel glue up as much as possible but not knowing the amount of preflower stretch of either plant I didn't want to sacrifice quality over quantity. Trying to produce some conniser quality cannaibis

3 months update she is now starting to taste really good and smell so nice!!! Super happy on the 3 months cure. I have updated my review and this strain is great very happy with the outcome! Well guys had to close the chapter on this one it’s been a busy few months for me. Can’t wait till my next journey will be back!

Buds are completely exploding

8/19/2023 Day 46 Veg: she is finally starting to develop some additional branching. I've been LST and leaf tucking. I was thinking about doing some additional defoliating, but I don't want to slow down her growth anymore. 8/20/2023: started the subirrigation today, with filtered water with a 6.0 ph. 8/21/2023: she is definitely reacting positively to the bottom watering. She was praying more than usual this morning, so hopefully the growth will continue to puck up speed now. 8/23/2023: defoliated a few more of the big fan leaves, to allow more light to the lower branches. 8/24/2023: had to fill up the water again for the subirrigation. Used plane water with a 6.2 ph. Plant is doing great.

Day 69 of flowering and still looking for the elusive Amber trichromes, they are 90% cloudy no amber 10% clear I will patiently wait I want to experience the more indica feel with these last few choice buds. Update Oct 19th 2017. Seen my first amber trich today, as I'm getting older I can't see through my loupe to view resin glands, so my wife showed me how too view them through pictures. All I can say is wow! She was able to zoom right in on them to get a good look. Maybe I will have to get a computer to show these fantastic shots I will uploaded ASAP YOU HAVE got to see them gorgeous girls see ya soon peace and love my brothers.

Looks so beautiful and smells even better, so in love with this strain, has surprised me a lot, I would love to grow her again, very nice plant, maybe not the best in yield but quality is assured. 🤤💎🌱

Tannin Trail Swag

Another great week for the Apple Betty girls. I have not seen a single deficiency, other than the odd yellowed or withered leaf under the canopy, typically due to lack of light. I will come through soon and do a defoliation of both tents to allow for more light to penetrate, and perhaps get a good push for some girthy colas 😋. I have lowered the temps a bit in the tents by controlling my lung room temps, and they are maxing out at 77 degrees and hitting a night time cool of about 70. I have also lowered the humidity to hover between 47 and 52 %. Hopefully will start to get some nice colours as they finish. As I mentioned before, when I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Feb 15th All three plants are doing well They have all been bent over to grow sideways Feb 17th More LST, all is well. Feb 18th Changed out nutrients This week I added 18l of nutes with slightly stronger mix at 75% strength. I will change on next weeks update Feb 21st Plants have used approximately 6 litres since the 18th They are all looking healthy but for some reason they aren’t growing in length that much. They are producing many new branches but the branches are becoming to compacted close together.

The smell that comes out of the tent is absolutely insane. The buds are starting to swell and you can absolutely see the difference every day. I do feeding- feeding- watering. They seem to like it and responded well to the nutrients. The 2 bigger plants also started to be purple. They are beautiful. 🌴🍪⛽️🌲🍊

This strain likes to stretch a lot so in full swing. Bottom leaves crumbling and turning brown/ yellow. This is in a shared autopot base so increasing nutrient dosages throughout.
