GrowDiary Verslag: The Bird × Red Wine – Feminized F1 Pheno-Hunt (Week 6 Bloei) Kweker: Xpie77 Datum: 11 januari 2026 Strain: The Bird (Sensi Seeds) × Red Wine (Seeds Genetics) – zelfgemaakte feminized F1-zaadjes Aantal planten: 16 stuks Huidige fase: Week 6 bloei Foto-update (Week 6) Hier een close-up van één van de buds in week 6 – kijk die insane trichome-laag! De hele top is bedekt met een dikke laag frost, alles glinstert onder het licht. Nog steeds voornamelijk groen, maar de pistillen worden dikker en donkerder, en er zit al een lichte paarse gloed in de calyxen bij sommige pheno’s. De echte paarse/blackout kleuren laten nog even op zich wachten, maar de resin-productie is nu al next level. De bud ziet er super gezond en harsachtig uit – precies wat je wilt zien in week 6 van een indica-dominante kruising zoals deze. Stand van zaken in Week 6 De 16 planten zijn in volle ontwikkeling en de bloei versnelt echt: Bud-ontwikkeling: Buds zwellen flink op, calyxen worden groter en dikker. De toppen beginnen compact te worden. Trichome-productie: Mega frost overal! Sugar leaves en buds zitten onder de hars – veel pheno’s lijken nu al harvest-ready qua trichomes (maar nog niet qua kleur/rijpheid). Kleur: Nog grotendeels groen, met lichte paarse hints bij een paar planten. Ik hou de nachttemperatuur laag om de anthocyaninen te boosten – verwacht meer paars in week 7-8. Aroma: Wordt steeds intenser in de tent: zoete druiven/bessen (Red Wine) met een gassy/funky punch (The Bird). Ruikt nu al als een premium strain. Gezondheid: Topconditie. Bladeren donkergroen, geen tekorten, goede stretch voorbij, alles gelijkmatig. Wat te verwachten de komende weken Nog 2-4 weken bloei (afhankelijk per pheno: 8-10 weken totaal). Buds harden verder op en trichomes gaan van helder → milky → amber (tijd om te checken met loep!). Hopelijk meer kleurverkleuring bij de Red Wine-dominante pheno’s. Beginnen met lichte flush richting het einde. Conclusie Week 6 is waar het echt spannend wordt – de frost is insane en de potentie schreeuwt eruit. Deze The Bird × Red Wine F1’s ontwikkelen zich prachtig, en met zoveel variatie in de 16 planten ga ik zeker een paar absolute killers vinden. Nog geen paars spektakel, maar de resin-laag maakt het al de moeite waard! Day 152 from seed ( 98 days since I changed photoperiod) and I'm harvesting after one week flush. A few buds seemed to have started decaying inexplicably, like burned, and had acquired a grayish- brownish coloration that I didn't like at all. I think she's caught a fungus. Besides I also think spider mites have done they job well because I was amazed at the extent they had sucked the sap on almost every leaf of the plant, fan leaves mostly. They have weakened the plant so much that she may be int he process of a more terrible thing that could be fungi. Back to spider mites, it is indeed nasty to see the damage this pest has done so far, because I see they have chewed almost -if not all- leaves, and fortunately they hadn't started to form webs, which I abhore seeing. I had started to see adult spider mite forms into the very inside of buds, while I was inspecting the thricomes, so before this nasty pest would eat up my precious buds, or any other cause (mold, etc) I took the decision to flush and harvest her progressively. First I'd harvest the most ripen buds or those that show signs of decaying and leave to the end the most immature (those that were far from lights, which are terminal and very big and dense though a but immature and bright green. The plant looked overall ready and I preferred to harvest the most bud I could, as you may imagine, but I would have liked another week for flushing more thoroughly. I've been flushing with tapwater and 2 mL/L Flawless Finish from Advanced Nutrients. In the next few days I'll be finishing her completely, drying won't take long and as for curing I think a couple of weeks. The smell in the room is really heavy (in fact it has been heavy for the last month), it stinks oif citrus here.

A pretty small plant with huge potential if I had a bunch of the same plant I could have moved the light closer this was the shortest plant in the tent and was kinda far from the light. When I was wet trimming the buds I realized the are really dense still and super dank they have some huge tricomb heads. Definitely a plant you could have some really good hash with just the trim. The plant smells good some fruit gunk and a little gas smell but a strong pungent smell for sure

Gradually, Gorilla Cookies begins to extract the nutrients from the leaves. it is impressive how much resin it produces. Hopefully she will do well in the last few weeks.

as you guys can see our Mary is growing beautiful and it's already smelling really good we had a emergency but it was looking good despite not having been watered all weekend so we had a lot defoliation, we took of lots of leafs and more LST

Week 10 – Ready for the final stretch Most of the pistils have turned brown, with only a few white hairs remaining – a clear sign that harvest is approaching fast. The buds have bulked up nicely, becoming denser and stickier, covered in a frosty layer of trichomes. The aroma has intensified, leaning towards a sweet, fruity profile, likely enhanced by the Bud Candy. The foliage looks healthy, and I performed a light defoliation to improve airflow. At the beginning of the week, the plant received its final feeding: a mix of Green Sensation and Bud Candy in 2 liters of distilled water. That was followed by a dose of Flawless Finish. From now on, only pH-adjusted water will be used until harvest.

-Growing well, but as I was watering my White Widow Autos and had these behind me on the floor my dog took a big bite of the big WW Twin. I hope it survives. -Think I mat have to transplant by the end of next week -I'm going to introduce nutes next week.

Coming into true week 7. The girls are really impressing me. The buds are stacking nicely. The bloody skunk still hasn't flowered yet she look ready thou. The dark devil is really really showing off she's starting to get that purple color coming in. The leaves are starting to get crystals. The critical mass and ak is showing off and the quarter pounder is getting feathery. Started to feed sugar water to the girls in between feedings.

Muy ansioso con este proyecto, mi primer cultivo s.o.g gracias a royalqueenseeds. 48 hrs en papel húmedo dentro de un pote hermético y luego 24 hrs en sustrato a luz apagada antes de comenzar con el fotoperiodo de vegetación. El sustrato es lightmix y solo añadi micorrizas granulares . Veremos como resulta este proyecto 💪✌️🍀

Day 7 Veg: A great start for the ladies has been slowed slightly by leaving them a few days too long in their germination pots. I usually plant into the final.pot from seed bit uad to wait this time for space. They took a hit with transplant shock I think and a few deformed leaf sets have resulted. I think this will sort itself once the plants resettle bit with time being precious on autos , I hope its soon. One of the Banana Mash is a real mutant it seems with two odd looking leaves and a tiny bit of new node showing through. The Purple monkey are all doing very well so far and rhe transplant has not hit them so hard. i also think I have a mango cream growing from a seed that popped out of the mango crop I did. lets see. En esta semana mantendré todavía los Led por 24 horas al día, el EC lo tendré a 2,5, el PH tratare de mejorarlo, todavía lo tengo a 6,3 mas o menos. Las plantitas están creciendo bien, ya se ven las puntas de las raíces saliendo del substrato y tocando el agua. Para el fin de semana próximo cambiaré la solucion nutritiva y bajaré el nivel del agua. Decidí también poner un generador de CO2 casero(bidón con agua, levadura, azúcar y pulpa de tomates) consejo de mis amigos de zamnesia. En la semana nos iremos actualizando.
