Acapulco Gold has just reached the maximum height available! ๐Ÿ˜… The flowers are coming in beautifully, despite the less than stellar growing conditions. I must say I am very pleased with the seeds from WeedSeedsExpress. First time using their genetics, and they have been impressive, to say the least! Acapulco Gold Auto has really started focusing on the buds, and they are really interesting looking flowers ๐Ÿคž 9.9.25: I have done a large defoliation. Removing the fan leaves on the lower branches. As well as some on the inside of the plant. Also, I removed some of the leaves that weren't looking so good. The leaves are yellowing out on the older leaves, whilst the new leaves are becoming much darker. I decided to add in a bud building PK boosters this week. I used Bud Explosion and seaweed extract as well as Sea K. I'm really trying to make the most out of this plant and will try to get a personal record in the yeild. I lollipoped last week, and this defoliation will be the last thing that I will do to the plant. I will be top dress next week for the Ecothrive Bloom, Life Cycle, Diatomaceous Earth, and Cinnamon. This will be one of the last, depending on how quickly we progress here. I am having a problem judging the water requirements as the plant itself now weighs a LOT! This isn't good for me because I am not the best of judging without lifting the pots. Obviously, the pot is much heavier now because the plant has gotten so big. I'm trying 2 x 6.5L feedings this week, I should go up to 3 or more next week, probably. I am constantly moving the plant daily to evenly distribute the light to the plant. That's what happened this week. I'm very pleased with this plant in general, and this weeks progress has been very good. I'm more than happy! Here is what I did this week. 4.9.25: I watered with 6.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 with; ๐Ÿ’œ 3 TSP Cal-Mag ๐Ÿ’œ 1.5 TSP Bud Explosion PH: 6.1 PPM: 1120 9.9.25: I watered with 6.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; ๐Ÿ’œ 20ml Seaweed extract ๐Ÿ’œ 4.5 TSP Sea K(elp) PH: 6.2 PPM: 599 That's all this week, I'm very pleased with this weeks progress. Thanks for checking out my diary and hanging out in the comments ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’šโœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ‘Œ

The buds are rock-hard and sticky. The overwhelming smell has a sweet and fruity aroma. About 25% of the trichomes are amber-colored, so I'll harvest her in a few days. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿ’๐Ÿฆ

Week 6 down and the OG Kush has been moved into the big girl tent to start her flower cycle. All 8 tops are fairly even and even throwing pitils. Leaves are getting a stronger, skunk aroma which has me very excited to smell the terps on the flower. Maintenance was minimal, just watering when light. Side note, I missed a day on pics...my bad ๐Ÿ˜Š

The seed was free and i tried with no expectations. the plant maintained a deep green with great bud structure for lollipopping it made it easy to know what was able to be pruned or not quite easily. seemed to be very resistant to bugs. buds were dense but not as crystally as i might have expected, potentially i chopped a little too early.. *shrug* i will update when it has dried sufficiently

Whats up everybody! Since last week the ladies have been switched to a flowering light cycle. I eased them into the schedule over like three days just to give them a more natural transition. They all got most of their mature fan leaves removed from the bottom sections to open yo the bud sites to a little more light and airflow. After about the first day you could already see the new growth coming in and more bud sites starting to form. I also bent the dominant colas on all three plants to give them all more of an even canopy. Cant wait to see these babies start budding! I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ„

Growing like weeds. Nutrients in the water has certainly helped. Had a problem with the spray valves getting clogged. cleaned them out and installed an inline filter to prevent debris from getting pumped into the system.

Hey now, hope everyone is well, this week went pretty good, both Glueberry OG Autos sprouted, and look good for a week in. They are currently in Pro-Mix seedling starter mixed with perlite but will be transferred to Coco Coir/Perlite as soon as their roots fill up the solo cups. I have grown seedlings in Coco Coir many times but I prefer to start them in ProMix because as there are no nutes in coco, you have to start with tiny quantities of nutes and work them up each feeding, and seedlings can be very finicky to EC/PH etc., and some strains can even be much more so than others. With Pro Mix, there is enough nutes for the first several weeks so I just give them water with a plastic syringe every 2nd or 3rd day. I have found that starting seedlings in Coir doesn't really produce a big advantage (at least for me) but her time in Coir will come. A couple things I also do is make sure to go by container weight above all else to know when to water. It is very easy to overwater seedlings and drown them, as I did when I first started. The other thing is I just lightly water around the very edge of the cup, to prevent drowning the roots, and also to force them to work their way out to the edges of the container instead of straight to the bottom. I started prepping a few bricks coco for this grow last night, I am re-using the coir from my last grow. I flushed it down to .4 EC and I currently have it soaking in a Cal Mag solution of 2.0 EC. I will let it soak for a few days then flush it again back down to around .4 EC. This is important to prevent cal mag deficiency down the road. To flush I just use a garden hose and a couple of saw horses with a 2X4 running through the handles of some fabric pots filled with my coir. It makes it easy to flush, and also easy to catch runoff underneath and measure the EC. I inspected and tested 2 of my drainage system this afternoon as I always test them outside with a few gallons of water before I set them up in the tent. Not much to do this week but hand water them every couple days, and hopefully by next update one of them will be ready or damn near ready for her final home which will be a 5.4 Gallon Airpot. I will be giving the other away to a friend to see what he can do with it. Once in her final home she will get fed 4x per day, and the runoff will go to my tomatoe plants outside which will also be in coir. I am super excited to crank this Medic Grow Spectrum X up and see what she can do. I am currently running her at 30% which is about 230 watts. I will be adding more seedlings to the tent here shortly to try and fill her up, but I started with the longest autoflowers and am trying to time them so they are all ripe within a relatively close time frame. Thanks for stopping by, stay safe, and Blaze On! ๐Ÿ’ช Website: https://medicgrow.com/ https://growdiaries.com/grower/medicgrowled

Itโ€™s the third week of vegetation, and both plants are growing like crazy! ๐ŸŒฟ Theyโ€™re super healthy and pushing forward with lots of energy. Iโ€™ve been feeding them with the BioBizz nutrient schedule for veg and adding Root Juice to boost their root development. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’ง Iโ€™m trying different LST (low-stress training) techniques with both plants. For one, Iโ€™ve applied LST to the entire plant, bending the main stem to get more light exposure across the canopy. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ”„ The other plant is a bit differentโ€”Iโ€™ve only used LST on the lower branches to encourage better side growth while letting the main stem do its thing. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ“ˆ Both plants are responding really well, and Iโ€™m excited to see how these different techniques impact their development. Things are looking promising! ๐Ÿ˜โœจ

Growing well. Just fed 12 cups Ph'd water (6.3). Lots of cold humid air coming in from outside, plus with the half soil half coco mix I think they're holding water a long time. They're only needing water once a week right now. They were not impressed with the water-only feeding. Some leaves got burnt tips, some got small yellow dots that look like spores or insects but I don't think are either. I think it's some kind of nutrient or pH unhappiness. I only gave 2/3 of the amount of water I normally would, hoping that they will dry out soon and I can give a proper feeding and check runoff pH. I left them alone for a couple days and boosted the 1000w back up to 100% to dry things out a bit more. The buds loved it but I think it's damaging the leaves a bit. I put it back down to 75% just now. I forgot to adjust the intake fan from outside down to low overnight from medium during the day and leaf temp was down to 13.3c when I woke up. Can't be doing that either.

I found out that I have to go out of town when I had planned on harvesting. So I did it a few days early. This plant has been a blast to grow. I was a little worried at first because she just wouldn't put on any inches. The plant only reached about 12 inches in 2 months. However, after the that she grew like crazy. It could have been due to my inexperience. I guess we will have to see on the next grow. I still have 5 more seeds of this plant. She flowered in about 9 weeks. Big fat dense colas. The next time around I need to pay better attention to the little scrubby side shoots. There were a lot of them. I ended up with about 60 grams of larf because of it. I should have done a better job of defoliating before flower and I should have kept her colas clear of the dense foliage. Having said that, she turned out a ton of bud! Wet weight count: Clone 1 - 179g Clone 2 - 163g Mother - 586g Total - 994g I will come back next week and update this with some more pictures and final dry weight.000

I didn't use the Bio-Grow and Bio-Bloom the whole week because of slight nutrient burn in the tips of the leaves on the upper part of the plant. I asked on a forum (grower.ch) what it might be, and they said it probably is too much potassium. I really do hope it will get better with time, but right now it has gotten a little bit worse, although it still is a minor inconvenience. I really thought that it is very hard to feed too many nutrients with biological fertilizer, but I had not thought about the soil. It seems that the prefertilized soil must be the problem here. Next week, I'll use just the Bio-Bloom at 50% of the recommendation and won't use Bio-Grow anymore. I do hope that it won't get worse. She is in bloom and needs nutrients. There seems to be a little lack of them since one leaf on the bottom is turning slightly yellow, so she is redistributing nutrients. I need to look for new soil, and also I'm going to change my approach to fertilizing in the upcoming grow. Other than that, she is now too tall with her 118 cm to keep her on my window, so she hasn't and won't see the real sun again. She got a lot more buds this week, and I really enjoy looking at her beautiful flowers. She has a very nice and sweet smell too. I am really thinking about setting up the grow tent in my apartment and not in my basement, just to take a look at how the plants are doing. I love plants, always have, but cannabis is just the most fascinating one.
