8/29 Knowing I was going to have to yo to the hospital er again this morning with my wife I got up early and watered. We are supposed to get an inch of rain tomorrow but the bags were totally light. If I was going to be around I might've held off watering. Instead I watered everything one gallon and figured the rain will make up for the other 10 percent hopfully that will do it.
8/30 Rained overnight. Plants were soaked. Flowers are swelling. I defoliated a shit ton of yellow leaves the other day. I still don't think I have anything fungal but I'm keeping an eye u e out and am considering doing an application of plant doctor. We are suppised to get an inch of rain tonight and tomorrow I guess. My biddy said i shouod cover my plants because next week is going to be "great growing weather" but with the rain and then the sun it could be a recipe for disaster since I have some large flowers. I got my father's leaf blower running but it was leaking gas. Brought it to the repair shop and a buddy let me borrow his for thus storm. I and hit the plants with it this morning. It is super strong though. I need to be careful not to blow it right out of the bag!!! Or break branches. Of course after u left it started raining lightly. A nice rain that plants like but it's stopped. I'm wondering if I should go over and blast them again to keep them dry but I know it's going to rain off and on and it'd going to rain tonight. I'll check the weather and decide from there. So far things are going good. Still have some yellowing leaves and a few normal pests but that is to be expected.
UPDATE: Stopped raining so I went over
and shook off the plants then put the leaf blower to them. I made sure to get the interiors before I went and had shook things again by hand. Storage us low bur i took a video. Cant upload toll tomorrow. Buds are growing at an insane rate but im losing some fan leaves that just yellow and die. Im sure its senescence but its still wortisome. We are supposed to have a real good week of growing weather coming so I hope that doesn't change. I'll update tomorrow. That leafblower works awesome though.
8/31 Went over to an extremely sunny windy morning. I didn't even need to shake plants or use the leaf blower since I did it after it Rained last night. I'm worried the wind night dry my bags out today so I'll be sure to keep an eye on them. I defoliated a shit ton of leaves but apparently it's just senescence. I need to check the last time I fed. Trich development is going good. The smell was incredible this morning! Each strain has its own unique smell to it. We are supposed to have a real good week for growing so I'm looking forward to it. May do a preventative plant doctor app but I think it will be alright. I'll keep this updated.
UPDATE: Went over around one and plants were bone dry. The wind was RIDICULOUS! I added a few individual stakes and tied a couple loose branches. I got my tarp out and considered covering the cagecto protect from the wind. However I didn't have time to sanitize if and they had already been through it all night and day alwuth no breakages. Plants are strong and supported well. At least I hope. Plus the tarp would block the rest of the direct sun the plants are getting right now. The wind looked like it dud its worst and the trellis and supports held. I did add extra supports higher up the plant to prevent breakages. Found a moth larvae (yellow) and squished him. Also found some aphids but a few lady bugs and three lady bugs larvae so I think I'll be OK. I am really excited for this year. Flowers are really exploding! FORGOT TO PUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. WATERED EVERYTHING TWO GALLONS EXCEPT THE 10. WHICH GOT ONE.
9/1 Forgot my phone on the daY I really needed it. It rained last night. The wind was the strongest i've seen in years. I would've tarped the cage but i couldn't find any of the bungee cords or zip ties. Probably good I didn't. No breaks. One plant had dark brown splotches ALL over the leaves! I picked them all off and took pictures and will consult my commercial buddy. I researched and asked a question on here. If it's septoria or something that could ruin my gorgeous garden I'd rather just junk the plant. It's big but it's the furthest behind flowering and I would not be heart broken if I had to get rid of that for the others. This week is supposed to be the best week we've had all summer so I'm expecting major growth. I'll update after conferring with other growers and making a decision. Looking online it seems like it could just be lack of nutes with the co dictionary we've been having. It IS time to feed and I haven't been feeding much. We'll see what he says.
UPDATE: AFTER RESEARCH AND CONSULTING WITH OTHER CONMERCIAL GROWERS I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A NUTRIENT DEFICIENCY. I READ THAT RAPID TEMP FLUCTUATIONS AND HIGH WINDS CAN EFFECT THINGS LIKE THIS. IT DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE SEPTORIA (WHICH I'M EXPERIENCED WITH). I WAS THINKING ABOUT DOING AN APPLICATION OF PLANT DOCTOR BUT SINCE IT WAS SO FEW DAYS DURING THESE CONDITIONS IM GOING TO WAIT AND MONITOR THE PLANT. I DEFOLIATED ANY LEAF THAT WAS SUSPECT. FOUND AND KILLED A BUD WORM. I THINK THEY ARE STILL DIEING FROM THE BT. IT WAS LIKE STRETCHING UP FROM THE TOG OF A BIG NUG LIKE, "HERE I AM COME OUT ME OUT OF MY AGONY." ALSO FOUND LADY BUGS AND BEETLES AND THEIR LARVAE. IVE SEEN TGE VERY LOWER SECONDARY BRANCHES GET STRIPPED ON A COUPLE PLANTS BUT THATS WHY I LEFT THEM THERE. IF THEIR ARE EARWIGS THEY CAN HAVECTHE SHIT THAT I WAS GOING TO LOLLIPOP ANYWAY BECAUSE THATS WHAT THEY USUALLY GO FOR. THEY ARE DEFINATELY STRAIB DEPENDANT TOO. THEY LOVE ANYTHING BLUEBERRY BUT DONT TOUCH THE REST. MAYBE THERE IS JUST A COUPLE IN "THAT BAG". ILL HAVE TO GO AT NIGHT AND CHECK. IM EXCITED. MY FLOWERS ARE EXPLODING IN SIZE AND TRICHOME PRODUCTION. SEEIMG THAT I THINK THIS IS A NUTRIENT ISSUE AND MY FEEDING DAY WAS TODAY I FED EVERYTHING 1.75 PINTS OF NUTRIENT MIX TO EVERYTHING BUT THE 10 GALLON WHICH GOT LIKE 3/4 OF THE POWERADE BOTTLE. PLANTS SEEM HAPPY AFTER I FEED SO MAYBE I SHOULD UP THE FEEDING SCHEDULE. SINCE THE SOIL WAS ALREADY MOIST AND IT RAINED YESTERDAY I FED WITHOUT WATERING. HOPFULLY THAT WILL BE OKAY. I'VE DONE IT BEFORE.
Went back over at six and WOW! After this nice sunny day buds have swollen. Plants seemed to love the nutes. I think the nutes in my soil are fairly depleted so I just needed to adjust my feeding schedule. I didn't notice anymore calcium deficiency looking spots and I had defoliated a lot of leaves. Super excited moving forward. Pistols are changing color on one 10th p phenome and retracting into buds. This is is the fun time. As long as I can avoid the rot.
9/2 Says it didn't rain last night but my plants are dripping wet. If course the leafblower kept dying so I had to shake everything by hand. Hope that's good enough. Gonna be real sunny. Bags still had some heft to them. I'll check them later. Found a few leaves with what looks like the calcium deficiency on the sane plant and I just removed them. I really don't think it's anything to worry about. I'll update later.
UPDATE: Went back around 10 and everything looked good and was dry. Brought the leaf blower to be fixed. Should have it by the end of the day. Found and killed another pillar and some ants. Took a picture of a lady bug/beetle. This sunshine is making my buds explode!! I was thinking about checking again tonight but I think I can wait and water tomorrow. Bags are still fairly heavy. I did take another couple leaves off the plant that lopks like it might have a deficiency or something. The stalks are bigger than the bottom of a baseball bat. A couple almost like the fat end. Some 9f the best plants I've grown. I also took three short videos of a plant of each strain. Maybe if it's short it will upload quicker. Happy growing! UPDATE: I was back and forth today. I did some pruning and defoliation and then I noticed that my canary was light as hell. I waited until night and went back and had a couple starting to droop so i watered everything 2 gallons except the 10 and tub got 1. Everytime I see them it seems like they are bigger
9/3 Used the leaf blower this morning to get the dew off the buds. I shook them by hand before that. I'm noticing like a little army of lady bug larvae so any aphids I have are not going to be a problem. I have adults as well but is the babies that eat 10x what the adults do. I'm hoping they'll wipe put any bud worms. The weather is great this week all sunny. Making the buds explode in size and increasing terp production. This is the strongest smelling cannabis I've grown. Each strain. Has its own unique "funk" to it. Purple punch is really sweet and floral smelling. 10th planet is more gassy. I need to get some yellow sticky traps. I saw a couple fungus gnats on my canary. A late blooming blueberrycheese. It's the one that dries out the fastest but is more sativa leaning and drinks TONS of water. I have two that are that phenome. Losing yellow leaves but exploding with flowers. Noticed a couple more leaves with that calcium deficiency looking leaf. I just defoliated it. I'm really happy where I'm at right now.
9/4 Plants were covered in water this morning and the leaf blower wouldn't start. I shook everything off by hand. Each strain hasits own STRONG unique scent. One tenth planet phenome smells like bubble gum. I think I've got like two weeks and some of the flowers on ONE plant should be done. I'm planning to take the top half and then letting the bottom mature longer of its not whete I want it to be. The weather has been gorgeous. Sunny today. I'll need to water tonight I'm sure. UPDATE: WENT OVER AT 3PM AND PLANTS WERE DRY. WATERED EVERYTHING 2 GALLONS BIT THE 10 AND THE TUB. THEY GOT ONE. FLOWER DEVELOPMENT IS VISIBLE FROM MORNING TO NIGHT. I HAVE A TENTH PLANET THAT I BELIEVE WILL BE READY FOR HARVEST (AT LEAST THE TOPS) WITHIN A COUPLE WEEKS. PISTOLS ARE RETRACTING AND TURNING ORANGE ON THIS PHENOME AND RED ON THE OTHERS. I AM LOVING HOW THIS STRAIN LOOKS GROWING. I HAVE REAL HIGH HOPES FOR IT. I FAILED TOO MANY TIMES UPLOADING THE VIDEO AND PICTURES I TOOK SO ILL DO THAT TOMORROW. I CANT BELIEVE THE SWELKING GOING ON AND THE AROMA! THIS IS SUCH A WONDETFUL YLTIME OF YEAR. STILL FIND8NY SMALL SPOTS OF WHAT LOOKS LIKE CAL DEFICIENCY IN THAT ONE PLANT. IM STILL UNCERYAIN WHWT TO DO WITH THAT ONE.

2 Girls 1 Cup week 7 is it? How time is flying by.
Day 42- still eating like pigs, so I'm bumping up the formula and doing 50/50 tap/RO for now on. Bubbled of course. Spots of calcium deficiency on GC here and there for the last week and I have seen a few spots on WG also. Still used 5mL calmag per gal as max dose to hopefully keep spotting from spreading. Raised my bucket to 374ppm prior to nutes. Decent defol tonight and I got a net back out to hold these down and spread em out as much as possible. One branch on WG has taken over as the main I guess and it's hard as f. Only place it's going is up lol.. 22in from the light as of RN, getting 37.2 DLI. Going to work up to 40 this week and see how they like it. GC really needs to hurry up. Can't let WG get too amber and can't leave dead rotting roots in the system right? Crossing my fingers GC hurries TF up in the end, or it may get cut early. RES change around 6pm tonight, modified week 2 bloom GHE medium. Breakdown as follows:

Day 43- McGuiver'd some external RES together tonight. Waterfarm site tube is now extended into a return line to the external RES. Small cat drinking fountain pump in the base of the external with a 1/4in fitting plastic welded on the 3/8 outlet of it. This thing trickles, just like I wanted. 1/4in line runs to my old fill port on the front of the waterfarm. Constant circulation from one res to the other. Waterfarm started life as a 2gal RES system. Roots fill it up and take up precious space. Roots were even coming out of the site tube lol. When I pump it out for a change lately, Im barely getting a gallon... side res and waterfarm combined now hold a little over 4gal now with the root mass filling a large portion of the farm. Ill actually measure one of these times. If I raise the farm up more, I can hold more in the side RES. 4 or so should cut it, they don't have much longer right? Filled with same formulation as last fill, just 4 or so gal instead of 2. Mixed 5, left with 1? in the bucket when I hit fill line. This may help conserve some water once I finally get their EC dialed in. Not only do I play my plants music throughout their day, I even sing to them from time to time.. Hopefully I don't lose any watchers with my horrible singing in the vid tonight đ€Łđ€Ł

Day 44- Why didn't I start this experiment off with an external RES? Damn the stability of more volume is a definite PLUS! Haven't had to adjust PH or top off 2 or more times a day since. Been letting the level drop and watching numbers while keeping PH in check. I think I've finally found a stable EC too. For now anyway. Water level drops, EC drops slightly, ph rises slightly. Taking almost 24hrs to swing from 5.61 up to 6.12 instead of 8-12hr. Been thinking about cutting back GC and just keeping it alive so dead roots don't disrupt WG but let WG finish as best it can. GC is THAT far behind from the looks of it. Trimmed em both up late in their day yesterday. Open it up a bit so the lowers on WG can bulk up too. Adding to the list of things I should have done differently and will share at the very end.

Day 45- ditched the net AGAIN tonight. No leak, shit was just annoying being in my way. Also been thinking ALLOT about my choices in life... latest is why did I plant two diff strains in the same pot and how can I make the best of it? They don't grow at the same rate or eat the same. WG is a PIG! Thought long and hard and have made the decision to cut back GC some to give WG her room to bloom. WG didn't stretch much and GC is still going. Keep supercropping it to keep it out of the fan and same distance from the light as WG. I have to keep both alive till the end, unless I throw in the towel on GC at WG harvest and chop em both. Really don't want to waste the experiment, so I may get creative at the end. Only have the one tent and was planning on drying in it since I've got the closet its in dialed in. Really don't want to make a cardboard dry box...

Day 46- Going to wean these girls off the N next RES change. GC is starting to stretch more, and still refusing to make the transition. maybe less N will do the trick?? kick up the bloom a bit as well. WG is ready for it for sure. GC may have an issue with it, but she'll survive. gave em both a defol before lights out today. heavier on GC than WG since WG isnt bushing up as fast as she used to. the light frosting is getting more populated also. side RES is working out beautifully!

Day 47- little prune on GC today to keep it out of WG's way. Plucked a few here and there off WG to keep it opened up. Colas everywhere! Going to be one short dense plant that's for sure. If GC gets to a finish, it's going to be a bunch of popcorn from the looks of it. Time will tell.

Day 48- light prune on GC to keep it out of the way, since its decided to be like 3wk behind WG. maybe tonights RES change will punt it in gear, and itll start exploding in flowers... yeah, i smoked before typing this so the pipe dreams are real on this one.. dialing back the calmag plus (since it has N in it) to 4mL a gallon. dialing back the N in the modified formulation from GHE week 3 "mid bloom" medium feed. formulation as follows:
Tap/Zero Water - 2.5gal/2.5gal
81ppm
calmag plus - 20mL
^ to 307ppm
Micro - 26.5mL
Grow - 26.5mL
Bloom - 41mL
RES totals after PH corrections - 1148ppm @ 5.63.
Measured the total volume needed to fill both the waterfarms RES and the external RES and it came to 18.4L. i scooped nearly every drop out of the side RES, but didnt even tilt the waterfarm. so there was prob a quarter to a half gal left in the farm. safe to say roughly 19L capacity. a HUGE increase from a measly 8L from factory. thats before roots fill the RES too, leaving you with NOTHING for water/nutes. so ill have to measure once again when the system is empty and see the true total volume without fillers. tis the end of week 7 i suppose. i will update the timelapse tomorrow afternoon to wrap up the week. i have a 3 week day 27-47 vid on YT if you're actually reading this and want to see the up to date clip.

Quick update week 3 flower these girls are putting on weight very very quickly. The blue gelato buds are already becoming dense like stones . Watermelon punch literally is the most satisfying smell I have smelt in a while . Wedding cake is the biggest in my tent and most gassiest plant. The terple inhouse genetics are also massive will show the inhouse section next week , just takes to long to take them out of tent

đ Notes - She is looking great. On week 3, I made a Boo Boo with the Neem Oil and forgot to rinse the residue off. Yup, You got it burn đ„ lol. For the rest of week 3 light was at 60% @ 30â off canopy. Monday she snapped out of my mistake and went back to 75% @ 30ââ off canopy. Set me back a week for flower . DLI is 20-24, PPFD 320-400. This seems to be the sweet spot for her in my opinion. VPD is on point 1.2- 1.4 đ Friday I decided to give the lady a Foliage Spray with Silica and a little Cal-Mag to help get ready for more light. Was at 25%@30â while she was drinking the spray. After I kicked it up to 85%@30â 400-450 PPFD, DLI 24-26 đ see if she can take it lol. Nope she did not like the extra âïž, back to 75%@30â until flip, this is definitely this strains sweet spot for veg. Thatâs all for this week đ€

This week, spent a little more time on the garden, Transplant, microbes on the soil, new 20 litres pot, and every day bending, to mantain an homogeneous canopy ...
Fed some Green Explosion again because i want a little more branching , but im switching next week to Flowering nutes, but imma keep Veg nutes because autos seem to keep growing more when switchin ... But heyy im new with autos hahaha lets see what happens.... The plant is soo healthy at the moment :)

Micro Vita : Applied 6.60 grams for the 20 litres of soil, recommended is between 2-5g per 10l ....
TopVeg: 2,5 ml when applied alone and 2 ml/l when used with Deep Underground or Green Explosion.
Green Explosion: 0,5-1ml/l, always with TopVeg because of PH balance
Deep Underground : From 1ml/L first weeks, and until now, 2ml/l.
Irrigations : Everyday in the morning, alternating 1/2 with water and the other with nutes, but if the plan is dark dark green im irrigatin only water so id would be 1/3 in that case.
#####Top Veg always balances the PH so im never using boosters without it (they have high ph like 8 - 10 )

First week of flowering went good, had some trouble with my ph meter again, so I ordered a bunch of ph equipment and Iâm gonna start fresh with everything new. Lol sick of second guessing my crappy pens. Plants are staying pretty compact so far, they have started to stretch a little bit but we have only done a few tucks on them. They are either gonna stay short or havenât started there main stretch yet, but we are 10 days into flip so they should be stretching by now. Time will tell I guess. Lol I removed a few of the larger guard leaves up top to open up the middle of the plants more to the light. I have around 40000 lux at the top of the netting and they seem to be taking it fairly well. Iâm yet to get my water chiller installed as Iâve been very busy this month and havenât had time to finish my DIY video for it. Lol hopefully this week we will get it installed and get our water temps down a little lower. I got some more H2O2 coming soon too so canât wait to get using that again, plants just havenât been the same without it, but I havenât been able to find it reasonably priced anywhere near me in a long time. I am using UC Roots now in its place to keep my res/water clean, but itâs not as good. H2O2 has extra oxygen on top of keeping things clean, so canât wait! Well thatâs it for this week, Cheersđš

hey guys sorry for the absence but in this period I have had a lot to do with my work and I have not been able to bring a good detailed diary, but finally now the holidays will start and I will be able to dedicate myself 110% to a new crop and new ones diaries. having said that, I think I will leave him a week at the most and finally reap the benefits đđłđđłmaybe my fault the RQS slow release nutrients did not perform as much as the ADVs in my tent, you can see it from the video of 27/07/22 where you can see that 2 out of 6 plants are visually leaner and less compact to the touch , I wanted to try on the same varieties in order to have feedback. I think it could also be caused by the crowding of the tent but with the ADV I have not encountered any problems. I will definitely try them again, giving them much more attention.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2203 ~
Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together!
The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel.
This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential!
One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... đ€Ș But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth.

~THE SETUP~
~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78â distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78â where they stayed until their tap roots emerged.
~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78â with a 7.0 ph.
~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots.
~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4.
~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation.
~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings.
~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's.

Weekly Updates:
1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!đ„đ„đ„
Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74â. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out.
I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73â which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74â temperature in the tent while the lights are on.
1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74â and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying' and remains the 'Frost Queen' in the run she is a VERY happy girl! The #2 pheno, while different from her sister, is looking gorgeous and starting to really ramp up her trichome production!
1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74â. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish.
1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74â.
OMG they're both looking fantastic with both looking amazing with a generous coating of trichomes covering their flowers, especially on the #1 phenotype and both have developed a funky sweet, creamy aroma! I'm really looking forward to Week Five of flower where these ladies should start to look epic! đđ

La cosecha de ambas plantas ha sido un Ă©xito, 2 semillas en 1 maceta de 11L y con riegos no regulares de fertilizantes.
El proceso de secado fue de 14 dĂas. Salvo 2 bajeros que se hicieron 1 semana mĂĄs tarde debido a la penetraciĂłn de la luz.
El proceso de curado continua, salvo un bajero qué se ha probado para notar ese intenso sabor terroso y olores dulces y qué llenan al abrir el bote de cristal.
The harvest of both plants was a success, with two seeds in an 11L pot and irregular watering with fertilizer.
The drying process took 14 days.
Except for 2 lower ones that were made 1 week later due to light penetration.
The curing process continues, except for a sample that has been tasted to note that intense earthy flavor and sweet smells that fill when the glass jar is opened.
