17.08. OG KUSH Day 114# Flowering Day 6# The plant was at the end of its 16th week 2 days ago. The flowering has begun. Video and photos are from yesterday. Stay High and Keep Growing!!!

Midnight is a seriously beautiful cultivar and unlike many other purple strains I’ve seen, grown and smoked, this one’s terps are actually rather impressive. Her aroma is a pungent mix of berries, citrus and gas. I love it. She certainly isn’t the fastest auto. We’re at day 77 since sprout and it’s clear she still needs another 2-2.5 weeks. I expect her to be ready for harvest somewhere in the 90-95 day range.

Trimjail it is! 16-12 Today i finished trimming everything. This is the end result: Dried bud: 116 grams. Dried trim: 23 grams. Thats over 1 gram per watt, and i am very happy with that!! Evening all...back on it AGAIN!!!! Worst is, in the middle of a heat wave (Hottest day every recorded in this part of the world a couple of days in a row!!!)...still need to finish trimming my last crop!!! 😰 Will get that done over the next couple of days as these girls need rehoused!!! So, got a cloner at the start of the year...was planning on clone a spare wedding cake I had but that sort of went to pot and life got in the way and that didn't happen. As I also got a hold of an Ultrasonic Mist Generator, I thought I'd give this "Fogponics" Germination thing a go!!! Seeing as @Sweet_Seeds donated a few Magical Beans to my cause, I thought I'd give their genetics a whirl. The Red Hot cookies looked too cool to pass up on!!! So, got the beans popped on the 12th of July and by the Thursday, they were showing their wee heads. These are strong wee plants!!! Vigorous as you like!!! Got them into the 'fogponics' machine and let them rip (Under 2x11W T5 Sunblaster 6400K's and a Amazon Special LED light for extra Spectrum) and they seem to be coming on grand. Noticed some yellow spots on the leaves and in 2 minds if it was: A. calcium (As starter plugs are Coir and I didn't put calmag in the plug hydration mix - Jiffy Original plugs are supposed to be buffered for this!!!); B. if I should have broken and washed them out of the Coir and put them into straight Hydroton (The fog could have been saturating the Coir and choking the internal roots a bit) or C. if its just the abusive heat we've been having here (In a country where A/C is basically unheard off as heat doesn't exist outside!!! 😋). Roots are ripping out of the net pots now so they're about as ready for transplant as can be...just wanna give a day or 2 more to see if the heat here settles as I can't adequately cool the area they're going too - but then again, under LED so heat may be good as it doesn't heat the leaf surface up as much! Plus I have a couple of plants to trim...still hanging in their humidor tent when is needed again for growing! Think this will also be the retirement party for the Wilma. Going to build an Undercurrent Fallponics system when this run is done (Wont have time to get it setup before these girls need forever homes!!!). Have the crates bought and a bit of research done on how to DIY a build so hopefully this turns out to be a decent run. Also have a few people with building experience on hand to give advice. Since last grow: Lights have been upgraded to a Geekbeast 630W Pro LED (3500K Spectrum - UV 385nm and Far Red 730nm built in [won't use the 730's as they can't be run independent of the Main Lights...be wary of this if you buy one off Alibaba for the 730's built in!!!] - Will run the 385UV's though throughout the grow for more blue...will run then 3 hours after lights on to until 3hours before lights off). Also procured an InvisibleSun LED 730nm Flower Initiator (Will use this for EOD Far Red treatment to try a 13/11 flower cycle) and a Migro UVB310 fixture - For the Trikes!!! 😝. Have a Haliea 300A winging its way to me as we speak. Have some Non-Stick Micro-tips flying in from the Grand old US of A a will to get a better, more consistent yield. This is more preflower week, bud sites emerged bud plant is hasn’t quite stretched yet. This’ll be the week she gets y’all or I know my pots are a little too big and she’s working to much on root growth those first weeks

Die fünfte Woche startet mit einer (Teil-)Entlaubung, das Blätterdach ist wieder sehr dicht gewachsen. Die Blätter bekommen wieder ein satteres grün. Irgendwann innerhalb der nächsten Wochen sollten sie ihr Geschlecht zu erkennen geben, noch sind sie etwas schüchtern. Ich sehe die ersten Anzeichen, kann es aber noch nicht klar deuten - abwarten und Tee trinken. Ich habe dem Wassertank meines Autopot Systems einen Luftstein hinzugefügt. Wird das einen großen Effekt bringen? - keine Ahnung. Kann es schaden? - ich denke nicht. So langsam zeigen sich die ersten weiblichen Vorblüten, ich kann aber noch nicht bei allen 13 Pflanzen mit Sicherheit das Geschlecht bestimmen.

20-2 a New week. Day 55 Starting week 4 flowering. I feed them now with Plagron 'Green sensation'. The distance light at 62 cm from the plants. PPFD at the middle is 981 umol/s 21-2 Flowering looking well for so far 22-2 I changed power of lamp. PPFD is 1002 umol/s. Past night all the Girls grows 3 cm.

Trop Cherry #8 x BeeJayz hasn’t been topped, I transplanted the girls this week from a 1 gallon pot to a 3 gallon pot. Trop Cherry was in a plastic pot but now in a fabric pot. Plants seem to be growing well.

I think about the fact that it is no longer necessary to cut leaves. I cut it a lot, but I notice that many people cut a bunch of leaves at one time, although somewhere I read no more than 10% at a time. When I gave fertilizers, I always diluted them with water even more to reduce ppm Day 68: I added cal-mag to the diet because the leaves are really turning yellow from the bottom. 0.5 ml Day 70: I added 1 ml cal-mag

It was a good week for Night Nurse👍 Now that they're in the ground they're doing much better and putting out more growth. The one on the end could have better color, since her new growth is a bit yellow. I gave her an extra feeding last night after I transplanted some Calendula into the bed since it's a good pest repelling companion. We're getting some much needed rain today🙏 Otherwise there's not much else to report! Update 6/26- I totally forgot to add that on Monday the garden got a spraying of horn manure. Horn manure is a biodynamic preparation of cow manure that's been fermented in a buried horn. This results in a material that's teeming with beneficial flora and fauna for the soil. Ideally it would be sprayed prior to planting in the spring as it encourages healthy root growth. I purchased the pre-potenized so that I only had to spend 20 mins stirring rather than an entire hour. That would have been brutal😵 I sprayed it at night when the earth is breathing in and used a spruce bough to sprinkle it over the plants in the garden. The extra icing on the cake was that there was a rain the day before, and another the day after I sprayed so it was well watered in.

We had rain in morning Day 1 and the previous night. Early morning Day 2, around 2-3 a.m., we had thunderstorms with strong winds and heavy rain. Afternoon Day 2 the sun came out. Despite the 5% rain forecast for day 3, we had a thunderstorm with heavy rain and wind. It lasted about a hour. Then a shower in the evening, thoroughly soaking this pot again. Day 4 we had plenty of sunshine and a nice breeze. Day 5, 6, and 7 were sunshine and breezy. I added 2.5 ml of ferrous sulfate per gallon of soil on day 1. I added a second dose of 2.5ml ferrous sulfate per gallon of soil top dressed in day 5 for a total of 5ml/gallon of soil top dressed for the week. I added 1.3 ml/gallon of soil(10ml) blood meal top dressing on day 5. I watered til runoff on day 6 and again day 7. The ferrous sulfate really began working day 6. The plants are beginning to appreciate the nutrients in the soil as they've grown and iron and nitrogen become available. The rain and cool nights these plants have endured are very challenging for cannabis. This plant surviving and thriving through the weather and user error proves how resilient these fastbuds genetics are. Overall the week was a success and next week will be much better.
