🇺🇸Grow Journal🇺🇸– Week 5 – Mother Gorilla (Royal Queen Seeds) Week 5 Summary This week didn’t go as planned. I switched nutrients, and the plant didn’t respond well, possibly due to overfeeding. I probably should have transitioned more gradually to avoid stressing it. Nutrient Issue • Previously used: Formulex • New nutrient: Ionic Hydro Grow • Possible cause: Ionic Hydro Grow has a higher concentration of nutrients than Formulex. The sudden increase may have stressed the plant. • Symptoms: The new leaves are showing signs of damage, which could indicate nutrient burn. Typically, deficiencies affect older leaves first, so it seems more like an excess—but I can’t say for sure. Corrective Actions • Diluted the nutrient solution to lower the EC. • Initial EC: 2.6+ (but my tap water already has a high EC, so the actual nutrient EC is hard to determine). • New EC: Below 2, but again, since my starting EC is high (around 0.8-0.9), it’s difficult to get an exact reading of the nutrient contribution. • pH adjusted to 5.9-6.0. Current Conditions • Light schedule: 18 hours • Humidity: 70% • pH: 5.9-6.0 • EC: Below 2 (but actual nutrient EC remains uncertain). Next Steps • Observe the plant and see if it recovers. • Adjust the next nutrient mix carefully to avoid overfeeding. • Continue light training (LST), but growth has slowed due to stress. I'm midway through the ninth week she is almost done probably a week left ATM I am just flushing her with H20 and a tbsp of molasses... I know on my next grow of Strawberry Gorilla from FastBuds I will be ordering another light of the same brand just one more 1000w and that would be the perfect amount. The buds are extremely sticky and smell like heaven they are turning purple the leaves are I'm thinking I need to water one more time and let that be it but the bud production is insane. great, everything is going really smoothly, @Zamnesia Runtz auto, copes perfectly with leaf spot and LST, started to bloom, so I think it will soon stop growing upwards, and I won't have to hurt it anymore :) @Plagron This is the first time I've used nutritional fertilizers, but I already understand that it definitely won't be the last :) good luck to everyone :).

She's a strange big & tall plant, I don't fully understand her, she has a mysterious, almost ancestral scent. The base of the stem is getting huge, I hope the branches get a little more fat. This weather has been fucking with this grow way too much, one day it’s super cold & the other it’s like i’m living in the desert & when i get them out of my greenhouse because of the crazy temperatures it would start raining a half our later way too many times :/ i tried my best but this grow won’t be my best one🤷‍♂️🏻

Well I have to say even though I had a few temperature issues in the night that I think may have stressed them. They took a lot longer than expected but after drying I don’t know how but I ended up with some fantastic tasty buds a few of the plants even came out purple!! I have to say the purple buds are my favourite 🤩 fastbuds never disappoints!!!!!

Finally after 82 days the trichomes looked just as I like them so I sent her into 3 days of darkness before I cut her. She's now hanging in the tent and drying in between 17...18°C / 62...64°F and 55% RH. The climate outside is just perfect at the moment so I can keep the temperatures in my grow room low, simply by keeping the window slightly open. I think a little bit more than a week will do - I'll keep you updated ;-)

Everything look excellent wishing I had a time machine. Just about run out from first grow can't get enough . hands down best smoke I had all year but I still think there is room for improvement .

Flush time for this tester , all went well and nutrients worked well , She is now 100% cloudy and about 5% amber on the sugar leaves , So should be ready this coming weekend or the next
