She's filling out nicely and is definitely due for a haircut...she has about 1 more week of stretch and in week 3 we like to do a heavy defoliation (and remove the ties). she's currently sharing the flower tent with (and is 10 days behind)our mystery strain... thanks for reading friends 🐱❤️

6/9 fed. 6/11 attempted to water but I'm holding off to see what we get for rain. Things are finally looking up. Very frustrating not being able to load vids. 6/12 first video uploaded. 6/13 still doing research and trying to decide whether or not to move the grow. My cousin seems to think things are fine. I've still got research to do. Camera app went down for a bit but everything is up and running. Plants are looking good! 6/14 watered and Fed plants 3tsp big bloom. 1tsp grow big, 1tsp calmag, 1/2 micro brew, 1/2 kangoroots. Plants are greatly improving. I still see some wind burn. I've gotten mixed reviews on whether or not to move the entire grow. Local seasoned growers and family members that have seen the setup and location tell me to leave it where it is. People online seem to think it's better to move the entire grow. I'm leaning towards the "if it's not broke dont fix it" attitude. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed.

Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

We have two very very pretty Rainbow Sherbet at different stages of flowering. The smallest one left to grow straight is doing very well and is in its first week of flowering. It is a plant that grows fast and primes very well. The plant worked with the main lining is really very beautiful. On her I was very successful in bending the branches of the main mainfold creating a very interesting T. The two ends of the main lining with their branches are the main ones and have shot up but there is good stuff everywhere halfway through the flowering phase let's say. Really excellent resin guys already from halfway through flowering The shape is very very beautiful as is the structure of this plant for real. We are still using soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron 100% organic. Lemonade Haze grew great under the Spider Farmer SE3000 light. I did have a flowering delay due to wore out timer. So grow went a little long. The plant grew to the light within a few inches. So top foxtailing was inevitable. She smell like a sweet Lemonade. Super sticky. It’s look beautiful didn’t get very big but the buds are beautiful looks like it’s gonna be some sticky icky lost of crystals can’t wait to smoke it!!!

08/08 - Week 3 of flower and flowers are getting fatter. I learned from my mistakes from over defoliating which I see as a key learning curve and I will remember this for my future grows. 420 Fastbuds Week 2 Blackberry Auto What up what up. Weekly update on these girls. They have had some great growth showing no real signs of issues. Still watering about a liter daily with just well water out of the drip system. I can't wait to see how they'll do this next week. Until then Happy Growing

Day 22 - Rolling into week 4 looking mean and green! 💪 I need to make a decision on what kind of training I want to dish out to this lady. She's growing a bit faster than her tent mates. Day 23 - Always experimenting - today I begin my first mainline! I've already built the foundation by allowing the plant to grow to 6 nodes, as recommended by the tutorial I followed by the brilliant Miss Nebula Haze @growweedeasy. My next step is documented here in a video, as I take my lush, happy, healthy plant, and give her the kind of haircut that makes you want to storm out of the salon without leaving a tip. 😂 I even managed to get in my signature branch snap early in the game - being held together now with duct tape. 🤦‍♀️ In all seriousness though, I'm thrilled to be trying this out, despite the agony of cutting down my plant to nothing but a stump and antennae. I've seen some great growers create some serious masterpieces using this method, and damn it my curiosity is taking control! Here's to learning something new! Day 27 - Came home from vacation to find that my plant had hulked through the duct tape that held her snapped branch together... I guess she's doing well. ☺️ Over the course of the past few days her branches have gotten notably thicker! 💪 Day 28 - Now that each new main stem has grown out, I removed all the growth tips from below the 3rd node on each side. I left the fan leaves in tact to give plant access to extra energy as she pushes through this intense training. I softened the branches with my fingers, very slowly, to tie down my new main stems horizontally across the net basket. I took a sterilized x-acto knife to then top each of my two main stems at the 3rd node on each side, leaving me with a beautifully symmetrical base to my masterpiece.
