**** Week 13 growth - February 27 to March 5, 2021 - Week 4 Flower ***** This girl weathered this week better than others in the tent due to her height......some times it pays to be short😂......the light stress was less for her. She is certainly not growing a lot of bud so hope that what we do yield is fire💪 She is a pretty girl with leaves up and a very nice colour. Curl from heat is minimal or from other factors. She is starting to show some small signs of a little too much nitrogen but over all very nice. Frost production is taking off later in the week and showing good levels on fan leaves as well. Trusting there is going to be some good swelling of the buds in the weeks ahead. She took longer through transition week and I would say she is actually a good 5 days behind the other girls so she may run a little longer in flower at the end as well getting more in the 10 week range??? Time will tell. Light intensity increased this week. Pushed up to 525 watts and then to 550 watts at the end of the week. This got the a little hot by the end of the week though. Working with a new light and finding the sweet spots takes a run or two. Learning how the girls grow anyway so the whole run is a lot of learning......its all good😀 Nutrients were pushed a little at the end of last week and the start of this week so backing off a bit more again. Given that they were pushed with light intensity they started showing some signs of nutrient issues. It’s good though as there is reaction time and back off to plain water feed for a couple of days at the end of the week and into week 5. Week 5 is going to be the start of the last stage of flower feed and work with that for two weeks, then stop feeding at the end of week 6........the plan so far anyway. Mimosa is longer strain though so they may get another week.👍 Little more detail....... Feb 27/21 - Day 22 - big feed day - all IPP line plus silica @ 1ml, CalMag @ 1ml, Rezin @ 1.5ml, enzymes @ 1.5ml - 1650ppm and 6.1pH - 4L Feb 28/21 - Day23 - Microbe day but also added some CalMag - Natures Candy @ 1.5ml, Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal, Magnifical @ 1.5ml, Micro @ 1ml, Bloom 1.5ml, Terpinator @ 2ml - 950 ppm and 6.0pH - 3L - leaf colour almost looks light today. Mar 1/21 - Day 24 - dry out day. Mar 2/21 - Day 25 - plain water - 300ppm and 6.1 ph - 4L - light power pushed up to 550 watts today. - (too much from 16” to 20”........note!!) Mar 3/21 - Day 26 - plain water with two suppliiments - Terpinator @ 3ml, Rezin @ 2ml. - 525ppm & 6.0pH - 4L - stripped some leaves today......sticky in the middle😃😃👍👍 Mar 4/21 - Day 27 - no water added today - light power reduced today 450 watts. - been going too hard with intensity. Seeing leaf curl on other girls in the tent. - joys of diagnosing cannabis😂 - starting with backing off light and reduce ppm going in but not the ml👍 Mar 5/21 - Day 28 - hit with microbes again to help with stresses. - recharge @ 1 tsp/gal, Nature’s Candy @ 1.5ml - 375ppm and 6.0pH - 3L Moving right along we are through 4 weeks now and moving past the middle of flower.

Welcome to my Tropical Tangie From Dutch-Passion. This update is all pics I had for flowering phase. Sadly a lot of time was missed, (pics/videos) and such, as family stuff hit this crop, I just finished off the last of the puff this week. So, I have her taste and qualities fresh in my mind. So, stay tuned as full harvest & smoke review coming in the next day or two. Took a little over 8 weeks to flower. 60 days. Pre Flower she didn't really stretch so she'd be a ringer for a good SOG. The plant started to develop a lovely tangie smell early. I hit her with a the SE5000 and was at the edge. Picking up a lovely shape. The buds started to develop really nicely. Swollen calyexs, with fuzzy tops, dripping in shiny glistening trichomes. Was HST'ed early into the flowering phase. Knowing that HST works best after PRE flower has ended im sure id of gotten bigger buds. But what I did get was 21 grams of premium A grade HomeGrown. (More 2 come on that topic) Really happy with this girl and her strenghts. As a lot of my crop suffered from light exhaustion. Co2 was kept steady and the process of ppfd intake was really high and not enough co2 which led to the plant eating the very thing needed to push your plants, sugars, co2, light. And the ppfd was been kept up but sadly the co2 was not. But, she pushed through it the best out of the bunch. Hitting highs of 35c. Brought it down to 28 the last 10 days or so and cut the ppfd in half and dropped and extra co2. She ate all the Fungi in the pot, and was a happy lady. As you might be able to tell. I'm talking about this girl in the past tents, and that is because this girl and her whole 21grams got 1.5 months cure. I was smoking it upon curing also. Defo one of the best tangie puffs I've had in a long time. Brief flowering phase(s) reviews: Total time 90 days. 9 clones taken, but sadly I had to ditch that plan. I HST'ed this girl just as she was moving into pre flower. And was a very hardy girl. Drenched in sticky trichones she glistened under the light during late flowering period. Will defo be doing a SOG as she hardly stretched at all during pre flower probably 8cm, and there was a big swing in lights on/off 35c / 23c. Very easy girl to maintain and very hardy to harsh conditions. Thanks to Spider-Farmer for providing the light and to dutch for allowing me to try this baby. As I said. Harvest and puff review coming soon. She isn't a house stinker. So, some light air cleaning with an air filter and you'll be golden. But, don't be but off by this. As she'll be a stinker upon finishing or at least doing 4 weeks of curing. (More in the harvest update coming soon). 90 days + 48hr dark rest and 10 days drying at 19c and 70% rh. (Gen not my ideal conditions for drying but done 3 of my girls this way, and they're probably my best dried plants ever. No bush whack smell (hay smell).. some very nice bud that grinds a treat. Takes a little longer to dry but no dropping the RH, it must of been the steady conditions that made them some good owl phenos.. Thanks for your views and so on. This one is surprising me with it's height. I guess I just assumed with it being very indica dominant that it'd squat a little more. But hey more plant to train = more budsites, I'm okay with that.👍 I topped every bud site on every plant, both indoors & outdoors.

Topped to 4th node. Started brewing ~5l of neem/kelp/aloe Trying out LST clips for the first time. Added a couple of small LST clips on the 4 largest fan leaves. One of the large lower fan leaves snapped off this morning when I was adjusting the LST clips. It looked like it had already snapped yesterday. Adjusted VPD to lower humidity

Starting to fill out in their last few weeks. The purple berry kush has a stand out smell almost like grape fanta she smells awesome cant wait to sample this strain. 5weeks of flower down 4 to go that is them had their 1st week of shooting powder so will continue that for a futher 2more weeks then start the flush fir 2weeks. ✌️

We had rain in morning Day 1 and the previous night. Early morning Day 2, around 2-3 a.m., we had thunderstorms with strong winds and heavy rain. Afternoon Day 2 the sun came out. Despite the 5% rain forecast for day 3, we had a thunderstorm with heavy rain and wind. It lasted about a hour. Then a shower in the evening, thoroughly soaking this pot again. Day 4 we had plenty of sunshine and a nice breeze. Day 5, 6, and 7 were sunshine and breezy. I added 2.5 ml of ferrous sulfate per gallon of soil on day 1. I added a second dose of 2.5ml ferrous sulfate per gallon of soil top dressed in day 5 for a total of 5ml/gallon of soil top dressed for the week. I added 1.3 ml/gallon of soil(10ml) blood meal top dressing on day 5. I watered til runoff on day 6 and again day 7. The ferrous sulfate really began working day 6. The plants are beginning to appreciate the nutrients in the soil as they've grown and iron and nitrogen become available. The rain and cool nights these plants have endured are very challenging for cannabis. This plant surviving and thriving through the weather and user error proves how resilient these fastbuds genetics are. Overall the week was a success and next week will be much better.

Cleaned up a little, smells getting strong.....

Beginning of 2 week flush on ph balanced water. Watering heavily with a lot of run off every 3 days.

On day 1 I transplanted 2 BB clones into 3 gal smart pots with coco coir. I watered them in with veg formula and set up my blumat watering system with week 1 flower nutes. I raised PPFD to 600-700. On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.0. The rez is 823 ppm. The tops are 16.5" from the grow light. The blumats have not started watering yet and I will monitor to ensure it goes smoothly. I have the blumats set at 1.25 carrots on left plant and 1 carrot on right plant. The average PPFD of my 16 tops is 703 PPFD. I increased temps to 85 day 81 night to get leaf surface around 80 f during day. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 782 ppm. The blumats have started watering and I will monitor closely over the next few days. On day 4 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.3 to 6.1. The rez is 717ppm. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is steady at 6.1. The rez is 706 ppm. The highest top is 15.25" from the light. I defoliated to bring in more air and light to deeper into the canopy. I increased the flow rate of blumat by .5 carrot on the right plant as it was a little to dry for my liking. The Clones are preforming well. On day 6 the reservoir PH is going down so I adjusted up from 6.0 to 6.2. The rez is 730 ppm. The highest cola is 14.75" from the light. The left plant had a runaway so I reduced blumat by 1 carrot. I increased flow of blumat on right plant by .5 carrot as it is still drier than I would like. On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.3 to 6.0. The highest cola is 14.25". I reset rez with nutes.

I watered her with nutes yesterday night and checked on her today and shes getting a little yellow i know its not light burn because i moved my light up higher the night before just in case. gonna wait and water her heavy with some regular water Other than that shes getting as hell

Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.
