OK guys I'm starting at the beginning of week 5 so this one is only a few days after my last addition the the diary. I noticed the very first pistils so now we are in week 1 of flower. Punch 2 has dark greeb, curled down edges, maybe a nitrogen toxicity? I don't think I'm over watering, they didn't have water for 6 days when I noticed these symptoms. Punch 1 doesn't have the dark green edged fan leaves or the curling down, but there are some pale white spots and smudges at the ends of the fan leaves. Any ideas guys? I'm new to this so not 100% what is going on or how to fix. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys🎄

Permanent Marker was the last one standing and got the chop at day 75 of flower, nearly 11 weeks. The trichomes were still not very amber anywhere except the top sugar leaves, but it was about 90% milky white, and the leaves were all drying out. I bagged 36g of larfy buds and trimmings, 20.5g top buds, and 12g small buds. 32g smokable is not bad. I will update with smoke report in a couple weeks, but initial tests were promising. Strong chemical taste not far off from its namesake, with a KO strength punch.

Week 10! First week of flower! I was eager and may have jumped the plan I had the other day of waiting another week but after some sound advice from a few people that inspired me to flip them to flower and watch them flourish!! Day 1..fed fox farm trio with some added aloe vera, very little..won't add anymore from here on out..I added some peroxide as well!! I opened the tent this evening and they were praying up to the mary Jane gods!! Just what their daddy wants to see!! Let's get this smoke to the heavens for the loved ones!! Aye!!! She been topped a couple days ago. Man I'm so excited about all the new strains, especially this one sounds crazy don't you think? I'm only feeding water still💦😎👊😋

Everything's still going great. The buds are dense. Rock hard. The smell is nice. The father had a rare floral scent, her mother was fruity. She's fruity with a bit of floral. I was hoping for an indica-leaning plant, but she seems to be slightly sativa-leaning. The fruity smell would seem to confirm that she'll be a bit on the sativa side. Just starting to fluff up. So perhaps 10 or 12 days left.

Almost ready to start feeding nutrients noticing better results so im guessing they love the new environment.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. We had 8 straight days above 30 Celsius, below 40% humidity. Plants were on the limit and working hard. Growing outdoor is absolutely an amazing journey but not for the faint hearted 😘 I had to water the plants 2/3 times a day and manage nutrition in between. I was on the edge of overfeeding, some burned leaf tips are visible. They're not finished yet. But chopping window is starting. This week we have thunderstorms and rain. Plants are inside my barn now. I really hope for better wheater circumstances soon. Just a few more of those sunny days please :) We have 90% humidity now. Checking for budrot twice a day. Video is after 8 day heatwave, just before first thunderstorms. The super auto lemon Hazes are growing fastest. Some smell sweet and orange other are pure lemon . Very pleasant. Not provocative. Many phenotypes. These are relatively cheap local seeds. I'm still excited with these girls. So different but all attractive ☺️. The Northern Lights Automatic is going strong solid and is swelling. In looks it difficult to see difference with some lemon Hazes but the smell is distinct and recognisable. The Diesel Automatic is my lovehate. She is doing difficult from beginning and became a small plant with vulnerable leafs. Buds are small but megapotent and impressively characteristic. This strain is far more interesting and layered than expected.

Day 69: As you can see, lucky the buds gone bigger but because of these intense feeding to fix the grow, they start to get nutrient burns. So for the new week i might only give water until the end with maybe some Regulator, enzymen, humic-blast... They also don't drink fast anymore. Another indicator that they having a hard time taking all the nutrients and that they are at their end of their stage. Some smaller plants, that finished growing and flowering faster, are already done and will get cut down in the comming days. These plants are some Gorilla's and some are cherry cola's. As you see, some have been foxtailing because i had to raise the lamps everytime. I personally don't like fox tail buds but i know some people that love them, pure flower to smoke. I really liked to make those photos in the dark, It shows many flowers and thc.
