What's interesting to me is seeing the big difference in the SSH, the 2 previous girls I had were veracious growers, 3 1/2 days of germination and they had a tap root longer than an inch! This one is not so aggressive and has stronger sativa genetics, thin not phat. The others have been doing well, no pest yet which I'll be doing a bleach wipe down of my side of the garage to reduce the chances of an invasion. ~Note~ I'll be updating later this week with a short vid showing the progress. 🌱 Animal Mints — Week 6 From Seed (≈ Week 2 Flower / Pre-Flower Phase) Quick Recap for New Readers This run includes multiple Animal Mints plants, all treated similarly, but we’re mainly cataloging two reference plants to clearly show how timing affects structure and development: • Plant A → 12/12 from seed • Plant B → ~15 days under 16/8 veg, then flipped to flower Same genetics, same room, same feeding — different timelines. That’s the whole experiment. ⸻ Plant A vs Plant B — Why Two Plants? • Plant A (12/12 from seed) • More compact • Slower early structure • Responds very well to gentle leaf bending and light training • Still stretching and stacking nicely • Plant B (short veg period) • Bigger frame • More developed branching • Further along in flower at the same “seed age” • Took light cleanup / lollipopping better This small veg window made a huge difference in structure and flower progression, and that’s exactly why we’re documenting both. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work (No Heavy Defoliation) This week we did selective leaf removal, not a true defoliation: • Opened airflow and light paths • Removed shaded or blocking leaves • Light lollipopping on Plant B only • Plant A kept mostly intact, just leaf bending and spacing Goal wasn’t stress — it was space, airflow, and efficiency. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day Temp: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on height & position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm (now stabilizing around 909 ppm) As outside temps stayed cooler, the room naturally became its own heat source: • Increased plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added No forced heaters. No extremes. Just letting the system balance itself. 🌬️ Airflow • Vortex extraction • Multiple cross-flow fans • Constant gentle movement No leaf chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear transition phase. • EC: ~2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning down — all feeds now 6.0+) Why Higher pH Right Now? As plants move into flower, nutrient demand shifts: • Better Ca / Mg uptake • Stronger phosphorus & potassium availability • Root activity increases Slightly higher pH at this stage supports structural growth and flower formation, especially under higher light and CO₂. Le piante procedono bene, sto avendo solo un problema con il ph, diventa acido troppo velocemente, va troppo in basso. Siccome non mi era mai successo, anzi lo dovevo abbassare per portarlo a ph desiderato con ph- , non avevo il ph up, adesso sto aspettando che arriva e spero di risolvere questo grande problema.

First go and journey is almost done. It was fantastic fun and educational. Gonna leave to dry for 7days or until stem cracks. Then gonna cure for another 7 days or until bakefully satisfied 🤤😎. Best of wishes and luck to everyone out there.

So this was my third tropicana, so far all different phenos, this was the biggest yielder of them

All plants have bounce back nicely one week until start flush sum pistil hairs still thick white about 30%orange 70%white hairs will check up next week 22th July

Put them both into 10ltr pots at the end of last week. The sun hasn't been about to much so they haven't done much but they are getting taller and stretching a bit. I've got more seeds but will probably take cuttings from these two as they will be more mature and must be closer to showing sex 👍

Week 2 —— Wednesday: Day 8 —- Started blues main nutrient feeding. She seem to be loving life at the moment. Getting bigger by the day. Run off:30% Run off ph: 6.1 Run off EC 2.4 I believe the run off ec is so high is because the coco mix I used is pre blended with charge. The reason I think this is today feed was the highest EC I’ve done and that was 1.5 EC. —- Day 9 —- Increased her base nutrients by .5ml/l it added an extra 0.3 ec that yesterday feed, but the sound of the medium Snap crackle and popping it quite relaxing. Is this the zen water at work? Final EC: 1.8 Run Off: 27% Run Off PH: 6.0 Run Off EC: Still way over what it mean to be but it’s going down, I still believe it’s too do with Ecothrive Charge being in the coco already. Blue looking very healthy even tho the high ec run off. —- Day 10 —- Feed: 900ml PH: 5.8 EC: 2.0 Run Off: 275ml Run Off %: 27 NOTES: Looking healthy as usual. —- Day 11 — Feed: 900ml PH: 5.7 EC: 1.8 - Run Off Amount: 220ml %: 24 Ph 6.4 Notes: All is well in the garden this morning. Still trying to bring the run off ph down to 5.8 during veg. Still the ec of the run off is still stupid, read somewhere re top dress on week 4, which I’m not as not using charge. So touchwood it would of sorted itself out. Blue look like she enjoying the feed mind. —- Day 12 —- Just the same as yesterday just bigger. Today going to start to research how to lst etc and to see if can find out what EC charge is at. —- Day 13 — Feed: 1l PH: 5.7 EC: 2.0 Note: Thought today was the best time to start to use my base nutrients at full dose. Not much new to report but starting to enjoy waking up just to see how much she has grow. She has started to lean one side so I have proped her up with a plant label stick. —- Day 14 — Water: 2L PH: 5.8 EC: 2.0 Notes: Seem to be enjoying the nutrients. She looks very healthy. Roll of week 3 as think maybe to start of her lst training

Wow what a difference after feeding her more. Her leaves are getting so much better after feeding her more. She’s growing so much and so tall! This is my first autoflower, so seeing her grow this fast is amazing! I added Calimagic and Floralicious plus. She’s loving it 😍

Day 21 Flowering (#1,2,3. day 14 flowering #4): Hi all and yet again a great week for the exotic girls. They just get more beautiful each week now. Buds are forming well on all of the older girls and it is easy to spot the difference between phenos close up. I am going to do a defol later today to open the right up for the air they need to get around now. They have some really good sized fan leaves that have help power their stretch well but now are blocking so much light to the inner growth too. #1 is medium sized in height with chunky golf ball buds forming .node spacing is not too long but I don't think they will join up with the ones above .#2 is a very big girl and the tallest of the 4 growing .Around 1m now and a good amount of mains to form her chunky single bud clusters . Her node lengths are fairly spaced apart and a good defol will allow them to all see light. #3 is in a 20L pot so i expected her to be slightly smaller than her sisters. She has kept up very well with them for bud production and overall flower amounts. #4 is at day 14 and doing a great job of keeping up oddly. while her buds are not as big yet , her look is more mature so it seems she is trying to compete . All are feeding well but #3 shows signs if mg defects. I will correct it with a feed with calmag but also keep vigilant. They are starting to kick out a nice fruity hit now too. keep it green Growmies

Estas 6 plantas sobraron de 15 esquejes que hice para regalar (mis primeros esquejes) . Quizá mis amigos no las escogieron porque eran las más débiles y feas, pero en vista que nadie se las llevó, vamos a sacar algunos gramos. Ellas viven con 12 horas indoor y 6 horas de mal sol interrumpido, quizá por esa razón se han espigado tanto esta semana. En todo caso, solamente voy a dejarlas 1 o 2 semanas más en vegeta y luego a florar y ver cuánto me dan. Son esquejes AK47 Buenos humos

Wasn't the best run, my first Hydro grow and I had a lot of over nutrition issues during vegetation which I expect will reduce yields. I also had a bit of bud rot on one of my plants even with humidity of 55 percent and 26c with plenty of fans I expect the plants immunity was compromised from the abuse that happened during veg. All in all, this strain is worth another attempt will defenatly keep this strain for a second run in the future. Next up - - > canna aqua trial with killer glue by little chief collabs - - > legendary AK 47 x Original Gorilla Glue 4 Will add more photos of cured buds and dry weight in the next couple of weeks.
