Many thanks to Royal Queen Seeds for sending me two of their new strains, Green Gelato Automatic and HulkBerry Automatic. So this is the first of two new diaries. WHY GREEN GELATO AUTOMATIC? Green Gelato Automatic is the autoflowering version of a legendary cannabis variety. The original strain is the lovechild of Thin Mint Cookies and Sunset Sherbet. It's one of the most aromatic strains available and produces monstrous levels of THC. Green Gelato Automatic contains both sativa and indica genetics. Her effects can be felt in the body and mind simultaneously. In fact, with a THC content of 24%, she's one of the most potent autoflowering strains you can find. LET THE DIARY START OFFICIALLY: 10/06/2020. planting. I have prepared everything I need for planting. The 11lit fabric pot I got from RQS, also Organic Boost Nutrition and Mycorrhizza from RQS, Soil is Light-Mix from BioBizz and of course the seed of the new strain Green Gelato Automatic. After adding 50g of pellets from Organic Nutrition and 5g of Mycorrhizze, I mixed everything well in the pot. After that I watered well and soaked the soil, I dug a hole with a wooden stick about 2-3 cm, I first put 1g of mycorrhize and then put the seeds inside. I lightly covered the hole with earth and put the pot in his new home. The temperature was about 25 degrees and the humidity about 65%. 14/06/2020. She sprouted. After 4 days, Green Gelato came out. In the meantime, I sprayed the surface of the earth a little twice. The temperature is still around 26 degrees, thanks to the summer and the high temperature that enters the apartment anyway. I regulate the humidity with a humidifier, I maintain it around 60% -65%. 15/06/2020. Her first photo shoot, I also watered her with about 2 liters of water, which I only regulated p.H. at 6.3 with Plagron, Lemon Kick. 19/06/2020. Day 1. Green Gelato is officially one day old. On that occasion I took another photo shoot to celebrate this big day :). 24/06/2020. First Feeding First feeding. She got a whole meal from BioBizz, Root-Juice, Bio-Heaven and Acti-Vera, p.H of water I regulated with Lemon Kick from Plagron. 25/06/2020. Day 7. End of the first week. For now, everything is great. It is developing nicely, its conditions are almost perfect. Green Gelato will also have two roommates in the box, HulkBerry Automatic. Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. These girls are filling out now. And there's some pink and purple going on too. The plants are smelling stronger now and they are putting out THC crystals. Plant #3 has a raw minty smell, like I rubbed a peppermint leaf in my fingers and smelled my fingers. I'm hoping these plants will smoke strong... but I'm not seeing very much THC crystals forming. I hope they are strong enough for me. The last 5 pictures are of the "Real" Pink Kush and a cross I made; I took Dr. Atomics Northern Lights #5 pre 2005, And crossed that with Barneys Amnesia Lemon, to be called Northern Lemnesia. I too that and crossed it with the Pink Kush. I took the Pi for Pink Kush and No for Northern Lights and the AL for Amnesia Lemon and got Pinoal Kush. Got a musky citrus taste and smell. Divine Seeds Auto V.2 Contest 👉Sponsored Grow👈 Auto Black Opium W11F6 8/10-16 Watered at the end of last week and have not watered yet this week. I have been foliar feeding at least once a day with the following blend: Calmag 15ml Plant Juice 60ml GH bloom 5ml Green Sensation 4ml Feed was ph 6.37, ppm 784 at 65f. I ph’d the water down to 6.25 with brought the runoff down to a range of 6.7-7.42 on the plants in the tent. I think it should be lower, but in the meantime, I hope this helps my tent family recover from lockout. Black Opium looks like she greened up a bit but and is pushing out more hairs in the buds. Doubled Airflow using two Marina 200 (28 gal/h x 2 = 54 gal/h) with four air stones per bucket. Liking what I see. Roots are better than they've ever been. Adjusted air space between basket bottom and surface of reservoir as there is more moist air now because of the increased bubbles (splashes). Just turn the 18/6 lights off for 36 hours before bring back online at 12/12. Forty eight hours earlier they had a defoliation which filled in so quickly. week 7 the buds look dens. I did minor defoliation and need to clean the plants more under the scrog. They are frosting up very nice and smells like creamy cheese cake. The EC has dropped from 1600 to 1440. Next week I will give them more food and fresh water in the reservoir and switch to 660w Boost HPS

This week was similar to last week. Rain every other day with intense sun. There were no major changes I made. I did slide my pots over a few feet to try to catch more sunlight. Mainly just been on scouting duty making sure there are no questionable bugs hanging around. A few things seem to take a liking to them but leaving them lone for the most part. One thing I noticed with the autos is that they seemed to adapt a whorled phyllotaxy along with the lemon ak that started with 3 from seed. They got their weekly does of boogie brew, but think I will stop feeding after this week.

Chopped all plants down on October 18th. Will report back soon with final harvest pics and dry weight for each plant. I have multiple grows coming down around the same time and I'm still backed up with the outdoor harvest but will update with final numbers asap!

GENERAL COMMENT. WEEK 5 OF FLOWER. Ok guys, this week ran ok for one girl and less for her sister, so i will go on details individually. RQS NORTHERN LIGHTS AUTOMATIC COMMENT. As I has commenting since the beginning I think this could be a nice strain to grow with minimal water and nutes, keep that in mind when growing this strain, i learned the hard way. What happened with this girl is that salt builded up in the medium and de stabilised mainly the PH, creating a super acidic medium, thats my bad, i failed to id earlier. So back to spotting, and a bit of yellowing showing, so some deficiencies, i honestly don’t know how this is going to end. I flushed her 4 days a go with PH water to 6.5, that raised the medium runoff from 5.0 to 5.4-5.6, and flushed again with tap water, is alkaline at 8.1+, runoff is still 5.6, so that raised more concern with that input range getting so acidic runoff is bad, and in the end of flush received a dose of voodoo juice, big bloom, calmag and top candy, that are all organic at regular ph, EC at 1.8. I know the PH fluctuation can worse the scenario. I’m been apocalyptic is just that i’m feeling a bit turn down now, i was expecting this girl to run flawlessly, heads up will try my best to correct issues, just wished she was like her sister…

Day 79 - The start of week 12 and she’s coming towards the end of her life. Her leaves are all starting to fade and she’s almost completely milky but I want more amber so I’m thinking another 1-2 weeks and she’ll be ready. Until then she’ll get plain water and one more watering with Calimag and Sugardaddy to try and give her one last boost. Day 80 - Well this girl will probably get chopped this weekend. She’ll get one more drink of water with MagiCali and Sugardaddy tomorrow and she’ll dry out till chop. I wish I could get good trich pictures but just won’t work but she’s about 10% amber right now so at the rate she’s going, chop day will be sometime this weekend. Day 81 - She’s really starting to fade out now and getting more and more amber in her. I really wish the buds would fatten up a bit more but the ones that are there and there are plenty, are pretty damn dense so not complaining. I gave her one last watering with calimagic and Sugardaddy and might end up giving her one last plain watering before harvesting but either way she should be ready by the weekend. Day 82 - Nothing much to speak of today, she’s gonna get the chop this weekend, she’s got more and more ambers popping up so just gonna let her dry up now and most likely chop on Saturday. Day 84 - The end of week 12 and haven’t decided if I’m going to chop her today or tomorrow. I’ll decide a little later today but just got some last updated pictures and will update again once I chop.

Its almost time for lights out. Today they had their last watering. I think this is the best grow I had since I started 1 year ago.

Buenas noches fumetillas, de nuevo volvemos, y es que estas green ak xL se están poniendo increíbles, son bastante delicadas a los cambios de temperatura y a las variantes en los nutrientes , hay que ser muy estable y cuidar en los cambios climáticos, si se consigue salen unas flores enorme y llenas de tricomas. Ph controlado, temperatura y humedad dentro de los parámetros correctos, 1 de los 2 ejemplares que quedan recibirá un lavado de raíces pronto, la otra seguiremos abonándola una o 2 semanas más. La próxima semana nos vemos familia.

Hello welcome to week 3. Poppy is suffering a bit from overly harsh LST but still growing. I broke a node today and it's really awkward to fix. I am not sure the node will survive. Day 17: The node did not survive. Whoops. Oh well more space for growth I guess. Day 18: Poppy has recovered from the LST now and is vegging fast. Fertigated 2l Day 19: Slightly adjusted LST. Poppy is really stretching out now. I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 20: Not taken photos yet, about to fertigate. I have noticed she is looking a little darker in the tips and has a vague blue sheen to her in places. I am going to reduce her nutrition a little bit. Day 20.5: Performed LST and took off three big leaves. Poppy is a pancake again. Fertigated 4l
