Rolling into week 7. Time to dial down the nutes and start my UVB regiment. I use Reptisun 10.0 bulbs due to LED UV's giving far less than optimal performance. Reptisun 5.0 bulbs work 2. I only run them from week 7 to flush and for only 3 hours a day within the current light cycle. Update day 45: After doing a trichome check, it finished EARLY!! Time to do a quick flush then harvest. I was going to add the nutes to the fresh water today 😂😂

Ze is eigenlijk te groot voor de tent, de hoofdtop staat 15 cm van de lamp verwijderd. Veel te dichtbij eigenlijk. Heb niet al te veel bladeren weggeknipt (defoliation). Minimaal. Well this is actually where i started. I had already germinated the Green Tea (Forbidden Fruit x Gelato) seed. Now i think i am caught up. I will try to post as many videos as possible. I suck at typing and with the dictation it takes longer to fix the f_ck ups than to just type what I wanted. I can just explain what I'm doing or what I've done for the week. This is my first ever grow journal so it may be all over the place....we will see..... I have multiple grows happening at the same time....sometimes I get carried away...lol....and might have a few more than I expected to have. I will do my best to keep things up to date and current. I definitely want to start running right out of the gate and make a pretty decent journal.

Grand Daddy Purple auto has germinated and sprouted. She does have some spots on first leaves. I might of got her wet on accident and left her under the light. I will watch if it continues. She had a light feed yesterday to help with keeping coco ph stable, and ready to thrive in. Beside the spots, everything is looking good. So we're in week 3 veg , they've mostly outgrown their mutated leaves now and looking strong.

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. What up family sorry for the late update, was out of town for the past week. Wow what a site when I opened the tent to plants that have tripled in size easily. They're just start the flower period so I'll switch the Nutrients over to Athena Bloom A & B as well as a P & K booster. They got a light defoliation before I left even though you can't tell, I'll be doing some more this week and doing a little lollipopping. All in all super excited for the flower period. Never saw that level of growth before. I gave them a bloom booster to help with their transition to week 2 - 3 of flower, this should kick in the bud development. I inspected the little ones and noticed signs of Thrips, annoying buggers. I treated them with neem oil and a time released pest fumigator strip (last 3 months). I gave all the girls Flower Fuel a granular bloom booster I got off of amazon last year. I never had issues with it though I haven’t used beastie blooms or other common bloom boosters on the market. The week after next (week 7) I’ll add powdered amendments to keep them going till harvest. I may even amend at week 6 so they get a head start on breaking down all the organic materials. Everything is ph’d to ~6.5, the girls are looking healthy and will be ready for feeding soon. ‖ PESTS ‖ Found a few thrips around, still managing the white flies okay but I’ll need to tackle the thrips immediately to prevent stunted growth and stress to the girls. I use neem oil, green cleaner (not the kitchen disinfectant) and a slow release fumigation strip that helps with most pest. ‖ FINAL THOUGHTS ‖ This week has gone well, again I was surprised with the growth rate during this week. The stretch period is still going for some of the girls so I’ll keep updating on their individual growth stats for the next couple of weeks. I’ll need to inspect my plants a bit more carefully so I don’t miss any signs of stress, pests , etc. I may be partially blind but I can still make a better effort in spotting these potential issues, I’m still learning :) Well, it’s been a great week, got some work ahead of me. Really really cant complain with this one. Shes beautiful to look at to smell and to taste and amazing effects she gives off... You will be the envy of all your friends but the great thing is that you get to share! Sublime in all areas and one that I hope never disappears from production! Royal queen seeds have done an amazing job and I want to thank everybody that works so hard on creating these amazing products for us!

Week 5 of flower update and this was not a good week at all. The light burn got progressively worse over a 4 day stretch that I was away and couldn’t address it earlier. Torched a few tops pretty good. Likely salvageable but it wont be a pretty finish. The only good news about this is that my 2 100% keeper plants were either unaffected or only minorly. Went full beast mode and ripped apart the whole system just to cut 2” off the legs, clean, prune and then reinstall everything. We’re also gonna swap the cob light with an xs2000 and sf1000 combo. Same power but room for clearance error. If we’re lucky - we still get to the finish with some quality smoke and an initial sampling of this new F1. Jesus - my issues never seem to end these days….
