2.24.2024: Start of week 5 from seed. Started to flower last week. Nothing done today. Still no nutes given, still scared to defoliate. Plant is 15.5 inches tall and looks healthy. Light is 11 inches from the top and at 75% power, 112 watts. I'm clearly no expert and i'm sure there's something i should be doing(feeding) but she's chugging along.
2.25.2024: Day 37 from seed. Watered 64oz at 6.3ph. Bud development is slower then her tent mate. Perhaps thats due to her bushy stature and foliage. Still seeing solid upward growth each day. Hopefully she turns on the jets this week. Still no auxillary nutes given. Finally worked up the nerve to take off 8 fan leaves. Really opened the plant up. Hopefully i don't pay the price!
2.26.2024: Day 38. Small bit of upward growth. No negative affects from the defoliation yesterday. Will feed tomorrow for the first time at 1/4 strength nutes from the fox farm trio and maybe some calmag.
2.27.2024: Day 39 from seed. Finally fed the plant, albeit small amounts. Foxfam trio at 1/4 strength of the week 5 doses plus calmag. 64oz of the solution at 6.5ph.
2.28.2024: Day 40 from seed, 36 from sprout. Nothing doing today. Maybe a 1/4 inch of upward growth? Stuck around 19.5 inches in total height. Light at 75% power 11inches from the top.
2.29.2024: Day 41. 96oz of ph 6.5ph. Upward growth has stalled at 19.75 inches. Added a few handfuls of Ocean Forrest as i noticed the soil level has compacted a bit. Will add pics later today once she perks up a bit.
3.1.2024: End of week 6, day 42 from seed. Small bit of upward growth, now up to 21 inches. Besides some lite defoliation, i've let the plant do its thing. Since its my first time i figured the only goal is just to get to harvest. Lots of learnings thus far. FFOF probably isn't ideal but its working. Some burnt leaf tips, probably some nitrogen toxicity, but otherwise we're doing well. Will definately look to LST more and sooner next time around.

So as you can see I now have four flowering which I guess were the autos and I have one gelato that is still vegging and is doing damn good. There are two that have lighter color leaves, Iโm trying to focus on on these and see if I can get better production. As for the tall GG in the back, leaves are waxy and have resin production starting. A lot better, overall Iโm learning more and more every week!

Two weeks into vegetation, our Watermelon Candy by Zamnesia is striking a fine figure in the grow tent. Each plant has achieved a notable height of 14 cm, an impressive feat for their age, suggesting that they are well on their way to becoming vigorous and bushy specimens.
The uniformity observed in the first week continues to be a defining trait of the Watermelon Candy strain. Heeey guys!
A rather fast update this time, right? I was always 1 week late with the updates but decided to speed things up a little this time! ๐
And now, to summarize this week I'd say it was fun! ๐
While I was still unsure if I wanted to go for 8 colas or just stick with 4 (I wasn't 100% sure last week! I'm a very indecisive person!) and after taking into consideration all the pros/cons and my own skill level I decided to just stick to 4 for now. I don't want the buds to fight for light and since this is my first time doing main-lining I'm sure I might end screwing things up with 8 colas. ๐
Besides what I mentioned earlier I did a lot of trimming (had to cut the remaining branches and extra foliage!) and gave a friend some cuttings of my babies! (after all I had 8 spare ones from each plant!) I also went for a more aggressive with LST since I know I'll need more space between each in the future colas! ๐ช
I also moved Boomer to a new container, she was getting somewhat crowded in such a small space! (I'm so impressed she's growing so well right now!) ๐
You'll once again see two time lapses showing how my plants were growing, I hope you all will enjoy them! ๐
Probably I'll stick for one or two more weeks in veg (I want the plants to grow a bit more before going into flower) but so far most of the work is done.

She's still growing up and producing new leaves and her flowers are getting bigger too.
I'm really worried though, because some of her leaves are turning yellow and shows burn signs. I thought it was because of the hot weather, but her leaves should have been all bent down (this is what I read on the internet). Since the plant is overall healthy, I hope it's nothing to worry about.. I found out that it also might be caused by a potassium deficiency, so I'll try and give her some. All been said, I'm still really happy with the results and I love how she's doing

Week 7: Branching Out & Embracing the Unknown ๐ฑ๐
Okay, I'll admit it: This whole FIMing outdoors thing is uncharted territory, but hey, isn't that half the fun of growing?
The FIMing worked like a charm! Three sturdy branches are shooting out, and the original main stem is actually the runt of the litter. ๐
I guess that's a new one for me.
Normally, my outdoor girls turn into towering 2-meter trees with popcorn buds galore. But this year, I'm after quality over quantity. A few strong colas, please and thank you. Am I following any hard science? Nope. Just going with my gut and the good vibes my pineapple is giving off.
She's still in veg mode, so I did some more defoliation and LST to keep her energy focused. Feeling good about this experiment so far. Who knows, maybe FIMming outdoors is my new secret weapon? Time will tell!

Gorilla Jealousy F1 is growing good. She did have to get neem oil treatments 4 days ago, and today. There is a mysterious critter in my space. I am not sure what it is. Treatments are to stop ot and break the breeding cycle. Hopefully I eliminated the pest in the course of this. In about 2 weeks she will be moved to a tent to flower on her own. She is a bit ahead if the rest in the room. She was trained, and treated today. She is ready for another week. Thank you Seedsman, and Spider Farmer. ๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฑ

Itโs beginning of week 4 and they are doing pretty well. The main stems are hard and strong and itโs impossible to bend them at that point.
I am practicing a very light hand LST everyday like I am showing in the video.
Tuesday
Watering for both of them , you can follow the (simple) process in the videos. The plants are doing great except for a little issue on one of them that I will show you tomorrow.
Topping or not ? May be beneficial so Iโm about to do it. Fiming maybe ?

D61 - The beginning of the fifth week of flower. Most trichomes are cloudy, but there are still some clear, and I'm seeing a few amber. I guess it will take another week, maybe two, until she is done.
D66 - Seeing less clear trichomes. She should be ready to harvest within the next week, I think.
D67 - The end of another week, and we're getting close to chop day.

These ladies are smelling amazing, classic og smell with frosty rock hard buds.
Started the flushing process on two of them while I let the other 2 regain colour and finish up, had a deficiency problem but we're well on our way to recovery and harvest time!!!!!๐๐โฎ๏ธ

Baked Bomb autoflower grew really well. I had a issue getting a seed going, then some ph issues in vegging. Beside that she just thrived. Big dense colas with a cherry vanilla fruity smell. I changed the light cycle this week.
I changed the lighting time from 18 hours to 12 hours.
I feel that after doing this, the plant will grow faster in the flowering stage!!!

So this is a clone I received on Jan 31st. She has been transplanted from a solo cup 2 a 5 gal pot. She had 2 be topped in her second week of rooting do 2 the top frying from to much light in young clone stage. Since the topping this lady has come 2 life!! She has been defoliated 4 times! Most recent defoliation 3/24! She spent her first month feeding just off nutrients in fox farm soil. On 3/2/22 I gave her her first Gaia Green trio feeding!! She has exploded with growth since!! She was defoliated on 3/27 again. She was given her second feeding of @gaiagreenorganics on 4/02. This lady was defoliated on 4/10 and 4/19 and 5/1. She received a all purpose/bloom feed of Gaia green on 5/2. She was also flipped to 12/12 light cycle on 5/2. She received a heavy defoliation on 5/29. This is what she looks like today!!

Week 3 of Flower
This little lady sure is taking her time flipping to flower. Her tent mates are well into it but she is taking her time lol. Oh well she is still healthy and I can see now that she is stretching out a bit and finally bursting into flowering. She will likely take longer then the 8-9 weeks that the breeders say given her slow start to flower. But Iโm ok with that. Sheโs healthy so things are looking up.
