It was the last week for the Black Jack and I was kind of sad to cut it down. I wanted to go the full 9 weeks of flower but she was telling me she was ready. I couldn't wait another week to get the Liberty Haze in its place either. It took an hour just to cut down/hang and remove most of the crispy and yellow leaves. Have a 3x3 set up for drying and have it dialed in and filled it with 5 hangers from the plant. Cut it into chunks as big as i could fit on the hangers. I weighed the buds wet this time just to get an idea of how much they loose during drying. She got light dose if Buddha bloom and some brix/molasses this week as she was starving.l'm still learning when to harvest but I like a more heady high so Its sometimes hard to tell when the trichomes are past my preference but I want to let a plant flower a week or two after its "supposed" to really have a gauge on it.l next time. But i think I hit it at a good time. Will update the harvest soon. I think this one will need the full 2 weeks drying even though I have my dry tent in the basement now instead if my garage with ac/heater It stays about 64 in the basement and i was having a hard time keeping it down to 60 anyway out my studio without the heater and ac constantly battling, and the ac freezing over. I forgot to take pictures of it on the racks and the setup but i will update

Coming to the finish line. Not sure if the plant really got better after the lockout, it is running without nitrogen so yellowing/losing leafs is to be expected anyway. Planning to chop in exactly 10 days.

31.05 yesterday was the end of the fifth week for the plants, some were transplanted yesterday, some today, and some not yet, but most of them were transplanted and topped for the first time... I was late with the topping because I didn't want to top before transplanting.. I topped most of the plants between the sixth and seventh nodes instead of between the fifth and sixth, some I even topped between the seventh and the eighth, but what's up... the weather normalized for a day and immediately started with severe heat... in the sun now it will be 40+ degrees C, until the other day it was 15, this is definitely not normal...the pictures and video are from yesterday, in the next update I will post pictures from the site Stay high ā€˜n’ keep growing!!!

This is definitely an express strain. These girls are growing rapidly and seem very good for new growers based on their resilience. They are Very forgiving plants but hard to grow with other strains due to differing growth rates. I topped these once and have been doing some lst to try to let the kabul express catch up but it seems my efforts are of no use. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ½šŸŒæ

Hi Friends! It looks like stretching has finally stopped šŸ›‘ !!! I am so happy with this! This has been a long road and I’m so happy to see the end coming about. At 7 weeks into flower everything is looking good and the trichome production is going fully. The nutrient solution has stayed the same for these past few weeks, but I have boosted the bud candy x2. Now It’s just a waiting game. One thing I’m starting to get concerned about is humidity. It seems humidity is rising when I wake up in the morning. I think it’s because the exhaust fan isn’t running on a constant loop and is only dependent temperature sensor. This means that when the temperature reaches the threshold it turns off even though the humidity might still high. I think I can fix this problem by introducing a new timer the works on a loop. Enjoy the pictures and a new video šŸ˜‰. Till next week!

Week 2 since they suddenly explored in growth. Since I have a very small tent, I just started the LST. Realised some yellow leave. Maybe due to light burn. Turned down power a bit to 40% and height increased to 25cm

The poison girls are in no hurry, apparently. More flowers appeared but theyā€˜re still very tiny. Once again, patience is the virtue of every gardener. The upcoming days are expected to be very warm and sunny, yay. They get their weekly mix of 3:3:3 and molasses and thatā€˜s it. Cya next week.

Hopefully she continues to fatten up! Can't wait to see the final result but still a fair bit to go.

Harvest Report – Cutting The cutting has now reached harvest time, and the final impressions are very positive. Compared to Phenotype #1, the aroma of the cutting is noticeably sweeter—a more pronounced fruity profile with less of the earthiness or pine noted in other phenotypes. The buds are dense and sticky, reflecting the successful flowering process despite lighter nutrient feeding. Key Observations: Aroma: Sweet and fruity, an improvement or variation on #1. Bud Quality: Dense structure and well-formed trichomes indicate good resin production. Nutrient Management: The lighter feeding schedule led to some yellowing leaves early, but the plant still delivered a satisfying yield. Performance: Overall, the cutting performed as expected, showing consistent traits and no issues with hermaphroditism despite being feminized. This confirms that previous issues were likely due to the genetics of other plants rather than environmental factors.

I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun šŸ’Ø ā˜€ļø, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. ā€œ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.ā€ I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.

the girl went out into nature, although the weather is not very suitable for them yet, but I think she will manage perfectly :) I will visit them once a week :).

This Ice cream cake #2 is a true beast. It grows like crazy. Pythium has nothing on her. Cuttings in a glass of water had roots in a week 😳 Let's see how she turns up in a couple of weeks. Aroma is lovely.

She have a really nice smeel and lot of pollen, I think bud will be not really big, because short vege, next time I'll put more plant. All continue to be good, I hope harvest for end of this month or start December. Next week I'll start to publish pic of trychromes. I'm in late in my diaries, my phone was broke and needing to got my pics in my old phone. Have a good week, grow and smoke. See you next week 😊😊

The plants continue to grow although slowly. I turned the Gavita back on this week and even at 42 inches it seems to be too much light at full power because although they're getting adequate nutrients, the leaves appear to be showing signs of damage to the chlorophyll pigments. I'd like to splurge and get the adapter and controller so that I can dim the light and slowly increase the intensity to allow for a more gradual photo acclimation period, but I will probably hold off until my next run. I've also considered adding supplemental Co2 to help the plants more effectively tolerate and take advantage of the light intensity, but it seems like a big expense for an uncertain benefit considering all of the other variables that are sub-optimal. Perhaps I'll give those Excellofizz Co2 pucks a try. Someday I'll build sealed grow room with automated Hvac, feeding, and Co2 enrichment but for now I'll soldier on and hope for the best as the flip to 12-12 approaches. More to come next week!
