🌿 Sour Diesel — Catch-Up Report (Weeks 2.5 → 4 | 12/12 Transition) First — a quick word to everyone following the diary We want to start this update by apologizing for doing a two-and-a-half week report in one go. This is not a change in transparency or process — it’s simply to bring Sour Diesel back in sync with the rest of the room. All plants are evolving under the same tent, same environment, same rhythm. Having one diary lag behind doesn’t serve the journey — so we’re catching her up, cleanly and honestly. Thank you for understanding 💚 ⸻ 🌱 General Behavior & Growth Sour Diesel has been growing beautifully. • Strong, healthy structure • Deep green, lush foliage • No stress signals • Calm, confident growth She transitioned into 12/12 smoothly and is now fully sharing the same rhythm as the rest of the room. ⸻ ✋ Training Response (Week 3) Training started in Week 3, using only: • leaf tucking • gentle leaf bending No aggressive techniques. Her response was excellent. By the end of Week 4: • She became noticeably bushier • Leaves increased in size • Side branches began to push outward and upward • Branch length reached roughly 4–5 fingers, which is perfect for this stage Nothing exaggerated, nothing forced — just natural structure opening up. ⸻ 🌸 Flowering Signals (or lack of — and why that’s okay) Despite being under 12/12: • No visible flowering signs yet • No pistils • No true flip signals This is expected. Why? • She had ~15 days of 18/6 vegetative phase • She’s now completing ~2 weeks of 12/12 • Sour Diesel often hesitates, then commits fully She feels close — almost like she’s thinking about it. We expect clear signs very soon, likely at the start of the next week. Ending this week: ➡️ bushier ➡️ more structured ➡️ clearly preparing ⸻ Nutrition & Autopot Reality (Important Note) She is currently being fed the same vegetative recipe, with one key adjustment. Autopots & organics — the reality Some of the inputs we normally use are organic / biological. These work beautifully with: • some gravity feeding • hand watering • living solutions But they do NOT work well in irrigation systems like Autopots. Why: • Living inputs can settle • Cause build-ups • Create pH fluctuations • Reduce line consistency • “Alive” water doesn’t like being stored or recirculated So for now: What she’s receiving • Plagron Terra Grow only in the Autopot system • EC lowered to 0.8 (instead of 1.0) • Even though NPK is present, we keep EC conservative • No boosters in the reservoir Occasional top feeding Once or twice, when watering the rest of the room: • She received the full recipe via top watering • This is likely how we’ll continue once demand increases Flower will bring higher needs — we’ll adapt when she asks, not before. ⸻ 🌬️ Environment No changes here: • Temperatures stable • Humidity stable • Airflow unchanged Everything remains identical to the rest of the room, so no need to repeat values. ⸻ 👑 What to Expect / What Not to Expect Expect: • A clear flip soon • Stretch after commitment • More expressive structure than some of the others • Increased nutrient demand once flowering starts Do NOT expect: • Instant pistils just because she’s in 12/12 • Heavy defoliation yet • Aggressive feeding right now • Identical behavior to other cultivars Sour Diesel does things her way — and she’s doing them well. ⸻ 🌿 Final Notes She’s healthy. Final week the smell is amazing so fruity

05/19/2020 All going well, have to grow in containers this season, I might be moving before harvest so only veggies in the ground. But all are adjusting well 😊 I will give more details on individual plants shortly #1 is10" tall new growth looks good getting thick. #2 is 11.5" tall #4 is 7" tall but healthy #5 is 16"

This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!

Very resilient plant. Almost fully recovered, the buds are looking good, a bit red. Some nutrients deficit but i dont care, thanks for visiting.

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. The plants are doing great! Nice, strong aroma. Having a hard time keeping the humidity down due to the outside temperature. We’ve had a lot of rain and humid weather lately. Each strain is growing at its own pace. Almost ready to start Harvesting the Colombian Gold plants.

Las flores empezaron a engordar y a llenarse de tricomas, por el momento todo correcto, os dejé también alguna novedad y un cambio en la sala, agradecer al equipo de Mars hydro por el nuevo TSW2000. Ph-ep pen broken, 1 week without ph properly adjustment ...................... plus the weather forecast says 2 weeks of rain, it will be a challenge to keep the humidity low in the house and of course in the growbox.

I must to wait for dry buds 😁.... After waiting to buds dry out i can finally write final weight 336g, of premium buds! Buds are fully covered with trichomes ❤️

Feeding still as they look like they need another week or two to finish. The trichomes are all still clear.

Spent the week rinsing and massaging roots, cleaning, filling then re-cleaning and refilling reservoirs. The rot is gone. Replaced with beneficial microbes from Advanced Nutrients Tarantula, that I made into a tea. This tea has cured the rot and also made a huge contribution to the roots and therefore, the whole plant. Am very impressed with the plants progress, vigour, vitality and strength! Now that the crisis is over, I'll be using the tea twice weekly to replenish the ranks. Has been a good week for the girls. They really exploded this week. I can't keep up with the ties. They got too big to have a level canopy. Will have to adjust later this week after defoliation and lollipopping. Will be a huge week and the girls will look different next time you see them!

Por una parte tenemos la que llamaremos Biscotii 1: Tiene un tamaño monstruoso, que tuve que doblar en varias ocasiones el tallo porque no me daba más el foco para subirlo. De hecho una de las ocasiones me quemo una hoja del puntal y un pelín la puntita y como se puede ver hizo que la punta parezca un monstruo!! enorme, grande y de forma especial. Hay gente en instagram que me pregunta que si lleva anabolizantes jajaajja lo más parecido a eso es los nutrientes de plagron!!! Que las revienta a las pequeñas Esta tiene unos tonos morados que la hacen muy atractiva y una resina generosa. El olor es fuerte y la altura estirada es una pasada!! Por otra parte la Biscotti 2: El tamaño es inferior que la anterior, pero no por eso diría que poco productiva... Tiene un central que da miedo igualmente, los satélites son una pasada llena de resina. En esta ocasión no tiene tonos morados, pero tiene mayor resina. En general ambas dos tapan la botella de litro y medio de agua, prieta, olorosa y con resina para aburrir!! 😍😍😍😍😍 El peso le pondré en seco en cuanto lo pese 😇
