Hello my dear friends! Hope you’re all as good as I’m feeling 😎 This was the last week for the plant. After a intense 14 weeks, she came to an end, and this week was more to get it ready for the crop. Since the flush last Friday, didn’t give it any feedings at all, to have it as dry as possible. Now it’s time to chop, trim and hang it to dry. Hopefully in 10-14 days she’ll be ready for the first test smoke. The bud is solid and compact like I’ve never had it before, really good quality in that field. EDIT - already cut, 225g green after trim. Let’s see how it’ll turn out after drying it.

Die Ernte der zweiten späten Pflanze war wesentlich geringer aber noch passabel.

I placed the 2 seeds in a damp paper towel and placed it into a closed Tupperware. The tupperware was placed in my stereo cabinet (warmest place I could find) and less than a day taps roots were showing. I then placed them in my humidity dome and within 18hrs I had roots sprouting thru the bottom of the sponge. This has been the best start I have yet to have. I also built a new RDWC system with waterfalls to veg and flower these two in. I have photos and video above on the new tent setup. I have it running with just regular tap water until the seedlings are ready to go in. I have also installed a 90gpd RO system (APEC brand) under my kitchen sink. The water comes out 5.8ph and 7ppm. I will be using this RO water thru the entire grow with some Cal-mag of course. The system holds about 25 gallons total of water. The main res is 17 gallons and the two buckets are 5 gallons. I will no longer be using air stones. I have a recirculating pump in the main res, waterfalls in the buckets and of course the main pump running the whole system. Should be plenty of air for the roots. I used 2 in return pipes in the hopes of avoiding roots clogging the pipes. I scrogged last time but I'm not sure I will be going that route. I might just top and train. I will be doing a major defoliation on one and just simple trimming on the other. I am trying to find out if the risks of stressing the plant are worth the returns. 8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along. EDIT: TOOK A QUICK VIDEO AND A COUPLE PICS. HOPEFULLY WE GET THIS RAIN. IF NOT IM GOING TO TREAT THE THRIPS THAT ARE ON TWO PLANTS NOW. I THINK IM GOING TO GO WITH BT-K FOR NY PILLARS AND HOPE THAT THE DISH SOAP IN THE MIX KILLS THE THRIPS. THANKS. 8/18 We got the rain we were expecting. It was sheet rain for a few hourscand rained during the night. Everything was drenched and it was cold (50°F). I shook off the special kush that's way further in flower. I decided to use the leafblowrr despite the risk of spreading anything. I did it so that it wasn't ever blowing TOWARDS another plant but still. I was hoping it might blast off some thrips that might have survived that torrential rain. We've never had a dry summer like this. I'll moniter things. My water day is tomorrow so I assume that's when the girls will get their plant doctor dose. It's a great time of year for cannabis growers. We get to watch all the hard work we've put in literally pay off. It's very peaceful in the garden. EDIT: Went over at about one to check things out and do some minor defoliation. I checked on the thrip situation and I dont know if I blasted them off with the leafblower or if the rain washed them away bit I doubt it. Ivecmade the decision to treat these little bastards. It's on one plant but it's started to spread to another branch on another plant. I probably just overlooked it but still. Seeing that it rained like he'll and I'm seeing like zero signs of septoria I'm going to treat everything. At least I think I am. I haven't decided what to use. I think I could just use bt and soap and I'd probably be alright. I'd feel better doing that as it's something I'm familiar with. Outdoor growing. It's always something. 8/19 In the 40's last night. Hopefully that will help with the thrips. I was hurried and since today tops at 72° I only watered the 10th planet big mk ultra and the chem dog with preventative plant doctor. I'm not seeing hardly any septoria and if I do itsca random leaf. I mixed up 3tsp of citric acid and some Dawn in a 2 quart hand sprayer and treated the 10th planet that I thought had heat stress and the Pink kush in the ten gal that has the damage. I also treated a branch on my good tenth planet. It was the only branch with markings so I think I've got it early enough. I'm just wondering the best way to tackle this. The pink kush I'm sure, could handle spinosad. That strain is much later flowering. I'll see how the citriccacid works and go from there. If the other girls need water they'll get it when I get home alongcwith plant doctor. I've got some work to do. I'll keep this updated. Opinions are always welcome.

I really enjoyed growing this strain. I hope I can get my hands on it again and take what I've learned and apply it. I didnt have any herm's or anything of the sort. I think Ethos really makes some great genetics. This stuff gets me really good. If i had prevented stretching's, and trained a little bit, I probably could have gotten a half pound out of here. Regardless 5.5 ounces is respectable for a 2nd grow if you ask me. Curing turned out very well. My whole place stinks when I burp these jars. Im OBSESSED with this Rosin. Best smelling and best tasting dabs I've ever had so far. Hope you all enjoyed this diary. I really loved sharing how this strain came out. I hope it comes out even better for all of you guys! We'll see where the future takes me!

Finally we are done, I spent one 10 months on Durban Poison, this is my best sativa strain and im absolutely in love. So next report will be with some Clones of Durban Poison.

Day 49. Switched from maxigro to maxibloom. So far so good 👍🏻.

Today marks the start of the final week before harvest, and I’ve officially begun flushing the plant. It's really exciting to see how far it has come. The buds have developed beautifully, and the scent is amazing – super fruity and sweet, almost like a mix of berries and tropical fruit. The aroma fills the space every time I check on it. I’m pretty satisfied with how the plant has grown overall. The structure is solid, and the buds are dense and sticky. Everything looks on track for a good yield, and I can’t wait to see the final product after curing. Fingers crossed for a smooth finish!

i have now moved it to its last pot. it was a bit stressful for it and i hope it recovers well. the root formation looked really good. it is now in an autopot system and is being fed with HESI fertiliser.

For this grow I kept my setup a lot simpler than last year. Going with Jack 47 because, well, reviews are awesome and we've had success with Sweet Seeds germinating well. From the pics and videos you can see I've got a simple bucket for the plant with no air stone, pump, or other shit in the plant bucket. All that is in the reservoir. Should make it easier to clean, flush, etc. I'll be able to just pop the lid off (with plant in the net) and put it on a clean bucket with pH balanced water while I clean the rest of the system, then hook it right back up. I also over-designed so I could add a second grow bucket if I want. Don't have space for that at the moment but non-loadbearing walls are easy to move, right? Using General Hydroponics for nutrients and Hydroguard for good measure. Knock wood I'm not jinxing things by posting before I have seedlings.

HEY GANG UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!! SOOO the girls are looking great I'm super pumped on these 2 girls I've been doing nutrient feeds one on one off so basically alternate nutrient feedings, looks really great stepped up water feeding to one gallon of water per plant, but other then that things are progressing really great keep it going growmies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She looks very healthy but two of her 20 tops had to go. So she now has 18 tops. Her sister still has 6.
