So, my "Skunk" puppies are always curious to see what I am doing when I am gardening. They are mischievous and would destroy my plants if I didn't have a fence around them. Miss Skunk grew 4 inches this week! And my two new branches grew a lot, too. I took a picture of my hand behind one of the lateral growths. I think it is doing very well. They grew about 1 inch this week. I started nutrients this week.

🌱First Grow🌱 🗓️11/02/2022 Hi. This week a focused more on LST. Wish a had done some more from the start because the results are amazing. I have more plants that I germinate at the same time but I did no training on them and it made a BIG difference. I'm using pipe cleaners. Cleared out some leaves from the bottom for better air. Thanks for reading. 🌍 Weather:☀️☀️☀️🌦️☀️☀️☀️ 🌱Nutrients: Prawn waste as nutrient: (N)(P) Fish tank water as nutrients: (K)

Week 3. This is where the fun begins. The smell is amazing. The stretch is crazy and the stems are stiff like bamboo. There's no loss in terps. They're actually getting a lot stronger!!

Muy buena genética, me quedé con el pheno 1, ya que tenía más resina y un mejor terp para mi gusto. Buen híbrido no te deja superaplacado y ofrece un efecto cerebral eufórico.

15/10 - Bit of defoliation to open her up and remove some stacked leaves. Didnt take a whole lot but its made a decent difference. I think that'll be the last cut before harvest bar a few which have been hit by the cal lock. Next grow I need to figure out how to access the back of the tent, because at the moment its impossible without fucking my back up and craning my neck. Got would I could back there but could def be better. Topped up with plain water as shes drank 10l over the last 2 days. Not seeing any more rust spots forming so hopefully the cal lockout is fixed. Shes starting to smell quite strong with notes of citrus and shes sticky as hell. 17/10 - EC plummeting again, 10l drank over 2 days. Topped up with water and 3ml CalMag, 5ml Grow, 10ml Bloom added. 18/10 - PH has remained stable overnight after the top up. I ended up doing quite a bit of defoliation today, again opening her up and removing problematic or shaded leaves. Always amazes me how much plant matter can be removed and yet she still ends up looking super dense. 20/10 - Full res change. 5ml CalMag 10ml Micro 5Ml Grow 45Ml Bloom. 1.15EC 6.1PH. 21/10 - PH dropping much more slowly now, so in a good spot. Continuing to take the odd leaf here and there to help light penetrate and get them off bud sites.

3/3: Did some light defo and raised my lights a couple inches...seeing a little bit of burn. I shot a little video of this plant just to have one, but it flickers for some reason..prolly the sub canopy light... 3/4: Spent all day jacking with the closet and swapping out the new a/c.. 3/5: I changed out the reservoir today. I finally found a seller of BioTabs BoomBoom Spray (in Great Britain) that sells to and ships to the US for not-such-ridiculous-prices!! I ordered a 250ml bottle so I won't run out for a while! I'm almost out of Bembe and I've heard good things about Humbolt's Secret Sweet & Sticky, so I ordered a quart to give a try. 3/6: I added a backdrop and photography lighting equipment to my cart at amazon...will pull the trigger on it soon! 3/8: She's looking good and stinking up the whole room now!

The number of points on a cannabis leaf is primarily influenced by genetics, the plant's maturity, and environmental factors. Grape Guava is an Indica Hybrid. Hmmmm Genetics: The plant's genetics are the most important factor in determining the potential number of leaflets. Sativa-dominant strains are more likely to develop leaves with a high number of leaflets, sometimes producing 13 or more. In contrast, indica strains typically have fewer, broader leaflets, usually between 5 and 9. Maturity: A cannabis plant's leaves gain more leaflets as it matures. Seedling stage: The first true leaves after the initial cotyledons emerge with a single leaflet, followed by sets with 3, then 5. Vegetative growth: Healthy, mature plants will consistently produce leaves with 7 to 9 leaflets, though 11 or 13 is possible. Fast growth: A mature plant growing quickly in ideal conditions with plenty of light and proper nutrients is more likely to show a higher number of leaflets. Environmental conditions: Optimal growing conditions can push a plant to express its genetic potential for more leaflets. High light: A fast-growing plant with ample light is more likely to develop leaves with 9, 11, or 13 leaflets. Stress: Environmental stresses, such as unusual lighting schedules, can sometimes cause mature plants to produce leaves with fewer leaflets than normal. Blue light causes stomata, the pores on plant leaves, to open by activating a signaling pathway within the guard cells. This process involves phototropin photoreceptors, which initiate plasma membrane H+-ATPase activation, pumping protons out of the cells. This creates an electrical potential that drives potassium (K+) uptake, causing guard cells to swell and the stomatal pore to open, allowing gas exchange. Foliars applied in strong blue 430nm with 4000hz tone. 20min dose prior to application. In essence, you're seeing a combination of the infrared light reflected by the plant, which the camera perceives as red, and any residual visible blue light the plant reflects, which results in a purple hue. 🌸 Lava Cake – Week 7 (3rd Week Flower) | Blossoms Rising The third week of flower has arrived, and our Lava Cakes are stepping fully into bloom. Both girls are looking beautiful, symmetrical, and strong, with thick white pistils reaching out and leaves still praying to the light. Their similarity in structure makes this run feel almost like growing twins, each reflecting the same genetics, each glowing with energy. ⸻ 🔙 Looking Back – The Road Here From seeds sprouting in soft cups → to vigorous veg under Future of Grow and ThinkGrow LEDs → to the careful transplant and expansion in the 8x8 ecosystem, every stage has been about setting a solid foundation. • Feeding: Aptus core line + Plagron boosters • Training: Gentle guiding, letting them branch freely • Environment: Tuned by the TrolMaster brain, with sensors guiding irrigation and VPD All of this has brought us here: lush plants in early bloom, no signs of stress, and a canopy built for flower stacking. ⸻ 🍽️ Current Recipe – Staying Steady This week, we keep the same feed — consistency is key as the flowers set. Per L Water: • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.5 ml • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml With the Aptus All-in-One Liquid still paused, the soil’s embedded nutrition + pellets are helping balance things out while these bloom boosters do the heavy lifting. ⸻ 🌡️ Room & Rhythm • Temps: ~31–34°C (still awaiting the AC unit for stabilization) • Humidity: ~60%, bringing VPD near 1.9 kPa • Watering: Daily — plants are drinking heavily, irrigated once substrate moisture falls near 19–20% • Monitoring: TrolMaster WCS substrate sensor + Tent-X keep us informed on EC, moisture, and temps directly in-soil Even with warm conditions, the Lava Cakes are thriving, drinking more, praying more, and pushing out flowers with confidence. ⸻ 🌸 Week 3 Flower – What We See • White Hairs: Thick, long, and vibrant, covering the tops like cotton clouds. • Flower Formation: Calyxes stacking, pistils reaching — no signs of hesitation. • Leaf Posture: Still upright, showing photosynthesis and metabolism are strong. • Uniformity: Both plants showing the same pace and morphology, a sign of stable genetics and consistent environment. ⸻ 🔮 Looking Ahead – What to Expect / Not to Expect ✅ Expect: • Rapid stacking in the next 2 weeks — buds will start to swell noticeably. • Aroma development — sweet Lava Cake terpenes may start teasing the air soon. • Nutrient demands rising steadily as flowers form. ❌ Not to expect: • Big trichome coverage just yet — resin production typically comes later. • A slowdown — stretch is nearly over, but flower development is just beginning. ⸻ ✨ Closing Thoughts The Lava Cakes are shining this week. Both are aligned in their growth, both are drinking and feeding with rhythm, and both are showing that the careful setup, from lights to irrigation to sensors, is paying off. Week 3 of flower is a promise — not yet the harvest, but the first real glimpse of what’s coming. Thick pistils today, heavy buds tomorrow. With consistency in feeding, environment, and care, these girls are well on their way to becoming the stars of the room. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic.
