11/06 - Day 10 - Both plants growing nicely, Geraldine slightly ahead but drooping a little, so gonna let her soil dry out a bit more before watering. Gone to 20/4 light schedule.
16/06 - Day 15 - 9/10 days since sprouting - both girls very happy, showing vigorous growth and new leaves sprouting every day. Showing signs of very early heat stress, raised the lights a few inches to see how they responded. Watering daily, around 100-200 ml per plant.
One of my seedlings has sprouted as of this morning (06/06), colour looks healthy, rapid growth, but is growing at an angle, is this normal and healthy?
Humidity 60%
Temp 23C
Agree, this is common from what I’ve seen. She will straitened up. I’ve seen them turn like this when they are young if the light isn’t directly overhead. I see other plants turn toward light in my garden also
Looks nice.
The rice works with humidity ??
Advise, try not to watering daily, wait until the soil is dry. You can check this putting like a quarter of your index finger in the soil, if your finger comes out dry, water. That's works for me :D
@RoeJysk, Hi men, thanks for the answer about the rice thing xD
I think in the four first weeks there's no problem with the humidity rises 70%, but in flowering state is gonna be a problem.
I'm in the last week and the humidity rises 60% with 19°C and some fungus show in the plant, be careful with that.
Sorry my english and have a great growth.
@BarbaRoja, thanks. I'm not entirely sure, tried a mixture of salt and rice, seemed to drop the RH by a few % but hard to say as it fluctuates a lot anyway, humidity isn't too much of an issue atm, I can get the RH where I need it in relation to the temp by providing more ventilation or turning on that little tube heater. Slightly concerned about the RH/temp during their 4 hours lights out, goes from 24-25°C & 50-60%RH with lights on to 18-19°C - 70-80% RH lights off, Could this be problematic going into mid flower?
I've been lazy updating the diary, but plan to update the last couple weeks. I actually had some issues this week due to my too frequent and too little watering, as well as suspected nitrogen toxicity. Growth got a little stunted, went into flower at day 20 and the main stems are maybe 7-8" long, hard to measure as they received some aggressive LST, but feel they should be bigger at this point. However, plenty of bud sites getting full light, and growing nicely again. Gonna get another couple started now and make the most of the light, don't think these 2 are gonna get huge
