I put two C99 seeds in a cup of tap water and let it sit for 24 hours in the dark. They sank by then. I removed and put them in a cheap, wet paper towel, drained most of the water, folded the towel in half twice and put that into a ziplock. I then let that sit for 24 hours in the dark. 24 hours later, one of the seeds popped it's taproot while the other was just starting to split. Now it's been 24 since then and one seed has its taproot fully exposed while the other is a little shy.

Update Edit: I found the seeds in the glass of water where one was floating and the other was submerged. I tapped on the floater and it dropped to the bottom of the glass, so I assumed it was ready to go into the paper towel. Maybe that's why it hasn't sprouted like its sister. If I had left that floater alone until it sank, I probably would spout right away. I see the taproot now, but it's just peeking out while the other seed's taproot is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Hell, it could be an inch.
I wanted to take pictures but got distracted with pruning the flower and veg pots (6 altogether, 2 clones, a gifted clone which is healthy, and the two seeds) and redoing my two pathetic clones that have been trying to establish roots for three weeks now. Yeah, they were weak cuttings that should have been tossed in the compost bin.
