So far, it's been a bumpy wedding. The first 2 weeks were bliss, growing great in 1/2g container. I took her with me on vacation while I left 3 older plants in my growspace for a friend to care for. While on vacation, she had a 100W portable light and also the Cape Cod sun. It was a good time, but....Came home to find my growspace was completely infested with mites. Stupidly, I didn't notice this until after I let this seedling into the space thinking she'd like to get some of the strong light. In less than an hour, there were bugs on her, forcing me to clip her best fan leaves. After totally scrubbing down my growspace (following grow weed easy instructions) I put Wedding Cake back into the space. She seems to be doing well. Good growth with new leaves coming in, even under top. There is some damage to the 4 main leaves, but I think that's from the diatomaceous earth that got on the leaves? Not sure. I would appreciate any useful advice to try to save her and bring in some smokeable bud.
I use diatomaceous earth all the time..should do the job on the pests..i havent gotten damage from it on leaves but could be if a big amount maybe on them..not sure..i use it before i start a grow on tent floor etc usually to try to help prevent pest... good luck with the grow.....enjoy.
@Free_I_grow, I use general hydro flora series and their cal/mag ( reasonable price and easy to find)and for a heavy shot sometimes a cpl different miracle grows? @ aprox, 25% of their recommendations..
