Day 44 - So pleased with how this plant turned out! Although it took a while to get to flowering I'm excited to see how the 3 main stems affect the harvest/yield.

Hey, in my experience, a seed getting stuck doesn't impact growth at all. You may be dealing with a "hot" potting mix; meaning that your mix is high in nutrients. This can lead to slow growth and nutrient burn; I believe that's what I'm seeing in the picture of day 9. Another tell tale sign of a hot mix is when your young leaves are dark green in colour, although this can be associated with phenotype; I don't think this is the case for you. What mix are you in?

@SunBeam, Thanks for the insight! I'm growing in Fox Farm Ocean Forest but I've run Sour Stomper in it 4 times before this with no issues. Still, the coloring of the leaves does point to nutrient issues. The darker color seems to be fading to the edges of the leaves with a more healthy green in the center but growth is still very slow.

Hey, always glad to help! I know a lot of growers have stopped using Fox Farm; it's NOTORIOUS for being too " hot" of a mix. I believe it's a lack of consistency on their end; which is why some growers have no issues, and others roast their seedlings. I've also read growers make a lower Ph argument for FFOF, stating that it needs to be just right or you'll experience issues. ( I don't agree with this though) Essentially you have to ride this one out, and perhaps in future try another mix. Best of Luck .

@MUDBUG, thanks for the tips I appreciate it! Your Glueberry diary will be a good reference for me.

@MUDBUG, I totally agree with all of this. Potting mix is really a personal preference! You can grow a quality crop in almost all department store mixes.
