Hi guys, sorry to present the diary at the beginning of flowering, but for some time I wanted to share this type of cultivation in rockwool with the recirculating system of ATAMI Wilma 16, there is little information about this type of cultivation...so I find it interesting to share.
The plants had 2 and a half weeks of vegetative growth, and at this time are 5 days in 12/12.
The tank capacity in this system is 150L and the measurements I have in fertilization are for the 150L, 2 drips per plant with average charge of 80ml per minute.
80ml*3minute=240ml*4=960ml*15plants=14.4L per day
4 waterings per day of 3 minutes (about 240ml in each watering), at this stage the first watering 2 hours after the light comes on and the last 3 hours before turning off the light.
The logic is 2 cubes, one with 3.38(L) volume and the other with 1.0(L), as we are in bloom want a watering of 6% of the volume(in vegetative we want 3% of the volume in the watering), so one is 200ml and the other 60ml total 260ml for each watering.
Then I will explain how we know how many waterings we have to have per day, to understand if we are watering too much or too little, the plants as they grow will have more water and fertilization needs, since we use an inert substrate where the plant depends only on our watering to survive.
Through go forward the weeks I will explain how we have to understand the operation of irrigation.
