@chafin96, If it is your first grow, you might want to let the training go a little.... There are enough nuances to growing a good plant before trying to increase your yield. Too much stress or training mistakes can cost you the plant. First grow, work on a healthy plant. Figure out which nutes you are going to use, lighting and environmental considerations. Get these nailed down this year, and go for some training and maybe a few genetics next grow. This is a game you never lose - You win by harvesting the buds of your labor, or you learn from what did not go well, but you still never lose. Cheers.
