She was damaged by hail two weeks before harvest, but the buds turned out okay despite losing some trichomes. The plant always had a different shade of green going on, and PEV’s description calls this a ‘green marijuana’ so It’s characteristic of the strain. The buds are a bit bulbous and look seeded, but they are not seeded. Also turned purple toward the end due to cold overnight temperatures. Nice plant that did surprisingly well here but a key was force flowering starting on July 9. Without initiating flowering this land race sativa from Jamaica would not have finished in time at 53N near Edmonton, Canada. As it is, I get a solid yield of really nice buds for an exotic sativa by mid-September. Woohoo. Time to do some quality control testing.

Lovely plant did fine here proving that it’s possible to grow land race sativas in northern latitudes. It has to be force flowered early so that it finishes in time, but the buds form under strong summer sun and are really very nice. I’d gladly grow this one again.
