Are you sure it's bad water? My tap water is ~200 ppm but it's one of the highest qualities in the world. It just contains a bit more calcium, magnesium and other elements. You may be able to get an analysis from whoever provides your water. Granted, if you can go below 100ppm that would be great of course. For me, I can actually use less nutrients because the water already has a lot in it :) and the water is really cheap. Your plant looks very healthy. By the way, I see that you are using organic nutrients. These are slow-release, and are converted to usable nutrients at the root zone. With organics, PH-ing is Not an issue as plants actually make the soil around the roots alkaline or acid themselves. With the help of living things in the soil. (bacteria, fungi). Adding PH minus (often phosphoric acid) quickly decimates this microbial life in the soil and will harm the plant. (PK13/14 fertilizer is also known to kill soil life) I can't re-tell the story in 100% detail, but it came from a Plagron representative: With organic growing, monitoring PH is not necessary if you are using good soil and good nutrients. :) The beauty and health of your plant seems to agree.

@Gullo, No problem man, I found this info very useful too and applied it with strawberries and tomatoes. It could indeed be underwatering or be the different needs of the genetics. In my current grow the pineapple chunk got slightly deficient in potassium while the critical plants are fine in that regard. 😊

@BillMonroe, WOw , this was really helpful Bill. Remember that this Power Plant came with a twin, so I figure that maybe the nutrients should be in a higher ratio to satisfy their needs (maybe). Underwatering was an issue in two weeks thou, so the yellow leaves could be because of that. The Shining Silver haze doesnt have an issue with yellow leaves and its only one. Note to head: if you get twins again, boost the nutrients and dont-forget-to-water the ladies hehehe. Thank you Bill!

@Gullo, I agree that the powerplant looks a little yellow for week 5 of flower because it seems to be working its way up the canopy. The chlorosis on the lower leaves could point to N deficiency. Maybe the underwatering has to do with it. I see that in the first week of bloom you went to 1:2 ratio of grow:bloom nutrients, In the first 3 weeks of bloom the plant uses really high amounts of nitrogen to complete its structure and make space for buds, maybe this powerplant even more so. From what I have read, keeping a slightly higher dose of grow nutrients (or, just normal "grow feed") in the first few weeks of bloom is good. πŸ˜€ It looks like the PP will still be really good πŸ‘

@MyCloset, Cool!. Im happy with the grow, but could be better lol. The Power Plant is growing faster than this one, but I believe is due to the light. I will switch to led at the end of the month. Will love to check some of your Shiny Silver Haze to see if I'm going in the right direction ^^. CHeers!

Also consider HID/hps plants drink alot more if you compare it with led Im using led and they drink 1 Liter easy per 24h in a 19liter pot I also had a couple times i was a bit too late with watering, wich will turn the bottem leaves yellow aswell, You can tell when the leaves start hanging down starting from the bottem (wich will die after to recover the rest of the plant) Goodluck bro!

@MyCloset, NIce info! I've forgot to water this plant several times during flowering and happened exactly what you pointed out. The buds are growing and trichomes appeared all over the bud though. So far so good :)
