Day 0: Began over. Soaking a new seed. Decided to try rockwool again instead of switching to rapid rooter. Soaking the rockwool in pH 4.5 with Neptune's Harvest Tomato and also RapidStart.
Technically I started Day 0 Saturday night so Sunday night, 24 hours later, I moved the seed to a wet paper towel between two plates. Not the way I'd planned on trying this but thought I'd give a go. I may still need to apply heat.
Day 1: undisturbed. Towel dried out so I wet it again.

@burnerac, sometimes the saucers don't match up right and the gap allows air in which drys it out quicker. I'm only saying cause those look exactly like my IKEA saucers and mine don't match up perfectly. I used an additional paper towel to block the little hole.
