Introduction - Week 02 Summary -
Ensign's log, stardate 9743.36,
Wow what a week! Was planning on waiting a week before flipping to flower, but decide to flip this week! So this was the first week under 12/12 which also begins the two-week stretch phase.
Up-potted the vegging plants in the 3x3 tent. Also ended up culling one so now there are 4 vegging in the 3x3 for the next cycle. Planning on cloning and swapping out each one in a few weeks.
Also added worms to each fabric pot.
Thankfully the local weather has been getting cooler! Hoping for a cooler flower cycle this time!
Only two weeks into this grow cycle and already in flower. Wow!
Growing at warp speed! Onwards to next week!

-----------------------------------
- [17:14]: Evening check on the vegging 3x3 tent,
--- Growth is looking a bit stressed, but still growing along.
--- Should have up-potted earlier,
--- Anyways,
- [17:18]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data:
------ 35% - [CH01 FP5 - Garlic Budder #1]
------ 37% - [CH02 FP5 - Original Garlic Budder #2]
------ 41% - [CH03 GR7 - Garlic Budder #3]

------ 27% - [CH08 GR5 - Original Garlic Budder #1]
- [17:21]: Starting with an original #1 pheno,
--- Removed her from the tent along with her fabric pot.
--- While on the floor, dug a hole into the center of the fabric pot and dry fit an empty solo cup into the center.
- [17:28]: Gently removed the solo cup from the fabric pot leaving a perfect hole.
------ Sprinkled 1/4tsp of Great White,
--- Dusted the sides of the hole.
--- Also sprinkled a bit around the top soil.
--- Great! Time to transplant!
- [17:33]: Gently flipped the original #1 pheno upside-down which dropped straight out of her cup.
--- Roots look a bit on the brown side, but not too bad.
--- Did not break the root ball up or anything.
--- Gently placed her into the pre-inoculated hole.
- [17:34]: Pressed and evened out the top soil.
--- Also spread the old mulch cover to expose the top soil.
--- Adding in some fresh soil as a top dress.
- [17:37]: Using some fresh BuildASoil 3.0 Potting soil,
------ Added 3 solo cups (~6 cups) of soil.
--- Spread and covered the soil evenly.
- [17:40]: Using some old BuildASoil Organic Barley Straw,
------ Covered the top soil with just enough straw until I could not see the soil.
--- Placed the original #1 back into the tent.
--- One done, 4 to go. Let’s go!
- [18:57]: Repeated this process for the rest of the phenos.
--- Ended up transplanting and up-potting 3 more plants.
--- Whelp,
- [18:58]: Decided to cull a #1 pheno.
--- Don’t have enough room for a 5th pot so going to cull and compost the trimmings. Also saving the soil for later grows.
--- Going to give each plant 4 cups of wetting solution for the initial transplant watering.
- [19:21]: Filled a pitcher with 8 cups of distilled water.
------ Added 1/32tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60]
------ Added 1/4tsp of Horticultural Aloe
------ Added 1/2tsp of Horticultural Coconut
------ Added 1/2tsp of Mycrobe Complete
--- Mixed the solution and poured 4 cups straight into a pump sprayer.
--- Misted the straw mulch with the wetting solution.
--- Took my time and tried to go as evenly as possible.
- [20:26]: Repeated this process for the rest of the phenos.
--- Had to mix up another batch of solution to water all the plants. Still need to get another pitcher.
- [20:28]: Night check on the 4x4 flower tent.
--- Wow! Tops are just popping up everywhere!
--- Growth is looking nice and green!
--- Need to start tucking again soon.
- [20:34]: Checked the humidifiers.
--- Refilled the humidifiers with distilled water as needed.
Day 03 - Wednesday - 09/25/24 - Total Days: 010
-----------------------------------
Daily Averages [~23:00]
- Temps: 80.9°F [27.2°C]
- Humidity: 74.0%
- VPD: 0.93 kPa
- Soil %: [32, 33, 41, 39, 38, 44, 38, 44]
-----------------------------------
- [21:42]: Night check on the 4x4 flower tent.
--- Ooo yea! Tops everywhere and looking incredible!
--- Last grow cycle, I found that these phenos are on the stretchy side,
- [21:52]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data:
------ 28% - [CH01 FP5 - Garlic Budder #1]
------ 29% - [CH02 FP5 - Original Garlic Budder #2]
------ 40% - [CH03 GR7 - Garlic Budder #3]
------ 23% - [CH04 FP5 - Garlic Budder #4]
------ 36% - [CH05 GR7 - Original Garlic Budder #2]

------ 36% - [CH07 GR7 - Garlic Budder #2]
------ 41% - [CH08 GR5 - Original Garlic Budder #1]
- [21:59]: Filled a pump sprayer with 4 cups of distilled water.
------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60]
--- Gave the sprayer a good shake before spraying the entire solution onto #1’s straw mulch.
--- Focused mainly on the straw.
- [22:18]: Repeated this process again for the original #2 and #4 phenos.
--- Focused mainly on the straw.
- [22:21]: Checked on the vegging 3x3 tent,
--- Growth is looking better! I think.
--- Since these phenos will be for the next grow cycle, at this stage of the perpetual cycle, need to hold back growth in the veg tent.
--- So plan to clone and refresh each plant in a few weeks. Basically the idea is to take a single clone from each plant. Once fully rooted (in Coco Coins), will transplant into solo cups for two weeks. About 4 weeks from cutting to rooted and transplant ready solo cups.
--- Afterwards, will transplant into the fabric pots for another 3-4 week veg.
--- This whole process should take about 7-8 weeks
--- Since the last plants were harvested after about 9 weeks of flowering, plan to start this whole process soon.
--- Anyways,
- [22:23]: Checked the humidifiers.
--- Refilled the humidifiers with distilled water as needed.
Day 04 - Thursday - 09/26/24 - Total Days: 011

-----------------------------------
- [18:41]: Night check on #3 and the vegging clones in the 3x3 tent,
--- Looking a lot better now!
--- Keep on growing my ladies!
- [18:43]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data:
------ 33% - [CH01 FP5 - Garlic Budder #1]
------ 34% - [CH02 FP5 - Original Garlic Budder #2]
------ 40% - [CH03 GR7 - Garlic Budder #3]

--- Gave the sprayer a good shake before spraying the entire solution onto #2’s straw mulch.
--- Focused mainly on the straw.
- [19:16]: Checked on the 4x4 flower tent.
--- Wow! Growth is starting to ramp up!
--- Time to start tucking!
- [19:32]: Trained a lot of the taller top sites and tucked them under the scrog netting.
--- As far as tucking, the ones in the back are a bit tough to reach, but managed to tuck the growth under.
- [19:57]: Filled a pump sprayer with 4 cups of distilled water.
------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60]
--- Gave the sprayer a good shake before spraying the entire solution onto #1’s straw mulch.
--- Focused mainly on the straw.
- [20:34]: Repeated this process again for the #4 pheno.
--- Focused mainly on the straw.
--- Time to take first readings and measurements!
- [20:55]: Took general PPFD readings.
------ All phenos were around 245 μmol/m²/s which gives a DLI of 10.58 mol/m²/d
- [20:58]: Took height and light distance measurements.
------ #1, #2, and #4 were about 33.5" tall.
------ #3 was about 17" tall.
------ All phenos were about 19" away from the grow light.
--- Notably, using a scrog with identical pot heights makes measurements and readings a whole lot easier. Everything is pretty much at the same height so I only need to measure one to get the height of the rest. Nice!
--- Also as far as the 3x3 veg tent, not taking height or PPFD readings and am just focusing on the main 4x4 tent.
- [21:03]: Checked the humidifiers.
--- Refilled the humidifiers with distilled water as needed.

--- Gave the sprayer a good shake before spraying the entire solution onto #1’s straw mulch.
--- Focused mainly on the straw.
- [22:16]: Repeated this process again for the original #2 and the #4 pheno.
--- Focused mainly on the straw.
--- Also misted the top of #3 a bit.
--- Checked on the vegging 3x3 tent,

- [23:14]: Starting with the main 4x4 flower tent, gently poured a cup of worms around the base of each plant.
--- Did not work the added soil in.
- [23:17]: Repeated this process for the vegging plants in the 3x3 tent.
--- Now that there are worms in each pot, plan to water a bit more often and will try to not let the soil get too dry.

@smoking_hills9,
Thanks growmie! Second time growing these phenos and my first clone grow. Yea, I reference these logs as I grow so they have to be detailed. This is also why my logs are about 2 weeks delayed. Sort of a full-time hobby!
