Greenthumb85 The start of the Eternity Grow Cup 2026 has arrived and the seeds have been planted. Thanks to the sponsors Zamnesia and Plagron for setting this up again. Zamnesia have provided the seeds of a variety called Sticky Broccoli. Plagron have supplied us with the booster Green Sensation. All relevant info to the strains and products can be found on their websites 3 seeds have been put into a small shot glass of water two days ago and I'm glad to announce 100% germination. After the seed husk had cracked and the tap root is visible, it's was time to plant these beans into some real soil. Soil mix for the seeds is 4 liters of Plagron Pro Mix, 750 ml of Plagron Perlite and 250 ml of Biobizz Worm Castings. For 5 liters of mixed substrate I added 1 gram of Green House Feeding Bio Grow. The seeds have been planted in 500 ml pots and watered gently. Once the seeds break the surface they will be put under some lights to grow. I wish everyone participating all the best. Happy growing and may the best buds win ;)

Greenthumb85 So all 3 seeds germinated and broke the surface of the soil. They stretched quite a bit and are now under 200 PPFD. Will slowly increase this to 300 PPFD this week. They receive a little water every day and are slowly developing their first sets of leaves. Not much happening at the moment so let's just watch them grow. Thanks again to Zamnesia for providing the Sticky Broccoli beans for the grow. Happy growing.

Greenthumb85 So the girls are all looking healthy and vibrant. They have started getting some new sets of leaves and are in veg. As the pots are only intended for the first 2 to 3 weeks I will re-pot them soon. Bigger pots and fresh nutrients will give the roots more space to spread out and for the plants to gain strength. Still only watering a little bit every two days and keeping the humidity high at around 70 % with temps around 25 degrees Celsius. Looking forward to the next few weeks. Excited to see what these ladies can do. Thanks to Plagron for the competition update/clarification. Thanks to Zamnesia for providing the Sticky Broccoli strain for this grow.

Greenthumb85 The girls are looking pretty good even though they got over watered once while still in the small pots. I decided to repot into 3 liter pots since the girls need some food and space to grow. After re-pot they were given some Bio-Enhancer to kick off the vegetative stage. They have bounced back really well and are starting to look quite healthy again. They should be back on track by next week. Thanks again to Plagron and Zamnesia.

Greenthumb85 The 3 ladies are looking very healthy. They have taken well to their new pots and have developed I nice green color again. I have decided I will do very little training with these plants. I will let them show their natural structure. 2 phenos look very similar, both are tall with large internodal spacing. They have quite little branching with large leaves. The other pheno is a bit smaller with short internodal spacing. This pheno has allot of branching with smaller leaves. I'm looking forward to seeing them develop. I will let them grow in these pots for another week or two. I will then repot them into their final fabric pots for the grow. Temperature is a steady 24 degrees Celsius with around 65% humidity. Thanks to Zamnesia and Plagron for sponsoring this grow.

Greenthumb85 The ladies have grown very quickly the past few days and will require bigger pots soon to reach full potential. So far I have not done anything to these ladies. No defoliation or training. All natural ;) I will re-pot into final fabric pots soon in preparation for flower. I have two very distinct pheno types in this grow. 2 plants are quite tall, large internodal spacing and have large/fat leaves. The other plant is quite short with short internodal spacing and smaller/thinner leaves. The ladies are still looking healthy but seem like they need more space and food very soon. Excited to see what happens these next few weeks. Thanks to Plagron and Zamnesia for sponsoring this grow. See you next week.

Greenthumb85 So the ladies have been a little neglected and are showing signs of a few problems. They have been over watered an seem to have nutrient lockout due to lack of oxygen to the roots. The leaves started yellowing throughout the plant and growth has slowed down. The plants have been repotted and will hopefully bounce back soon. Will keep an eye on their progress the next few days.

Greenthumb85 The ladies have bounced back and are looking allot healthier again. They have regained their green color in most of the leaves and growth has been good. After having over watered all of them I waited almost 7 days for the medium to dry back and the plants to regain their strength. They have been watered only once since then and have started praying to the lights again. I will give them a few more days to fully recover and then I will send them into flower. I have only done a light defoliation twice removing some of the very large fan leaves. Other than that I have not done any training to these plants. I want to let them grow pretty naturally to see what they do. As mentioned before there are 2 very distinct differences in the plants. One plant is quite short with very tight internodal spacing while the other two plants are quite tall and have quite large internodal spacing. I'm excited to see what they do in flower. Big thanks to the sponsors Zamnesia and Plagron. See you next week! Happy growing.

Greenthumb85 The ladies have bounced back wonderfully. The yellowing leaves have changed color back to a luscious green. They are growing very quickly with the tallest plant being 75 cm and the shortest being 65 cm tall. They have just finished the first week of flower and are in full stretch mode. There has been absolutely no training to these plants. I have only defoliated once and will defoliate again around week 3 of flower. The shortest plant is quite bushy with short internodal spacing. The other 2 ladies aren't very bushy and have large internodal spacing. I am excited to see how the bud development will turn out on these plants. Temperatures are nice and warm with a VPD of around 1.2. PPFD is around 900 on the top buds and around 600 along the middle of the canopy. I will tweak and adjust as needed. Thanks again to Plagron and Zamnesia for sponsoring this grow and setting up this competition. Happy growing.

Greenthumb85 The second week of flower is almost done and these girls are starting to look beautiful. Very healthy green leaves, strong thick stems and the bud sights have started to show. The girls are a little bushy so I will do a defoliation soon to let more light penetrate to the lower bud sights. Again there are 2 very distinct pheno types. One small bushy plant and 2 very tall plants with large internodal spacing. Again, I have done almost no training to these plants except for one defoliation. So these ladies are pretty much all natural. As they are getting quite large I will add some more fertilizer/feed towards the end of next week so the ladies have enough food for bud development. I will also start using the Plagron Green Sensation soon to facilitate bud growth. So far I am very pleased with the genetics and I am looking forward to the end results. Thanks again to Zamnesia and Plagron for being sponsors for this grow. Happy growing.

Greenthumb85 The ladies have grown very fast and have almost grown into the lights. All have been defoliated and lollipoped for better light penetration. Bud sites have started to develop nicely. I will start with Plagron Green Sensation this week to support bud development. I will top dress next week to make sure the girls have enough food to finish flower. Will hopefully be in cruise control until harvest after that. Thanks to Plagron and Zamnesia for sponsoring the competition. Happy growing and see you next week.

Greenthumb85 The ladies have grown a little taller since last week, but I think the stretch is over. They are starting to develop the buds very nicely. I started using Plagron Green Sensation to further support bud development over the next few weeks. I'm very excited to see how these ladies turn out. So far I have two very very tall plants and one quite short plant in comparison to the other two. Let the best lady win. I have also switched to an automated watering system. I decided to use Blumat as it is simple and easy to use. Thanks again to Plagron and Zamnesia for sponsoring. Happy growing and see you next week.

Greenthumb85 The girls are looking very good. Starting to put on some weight now that the stretch has finally finished. The ladies are very tall but they look like they will yield well. Buds are developing quickly and are starting to look frosty as well. Have been using the Plagron Green Sensation to help bud development in the later stages of flower. Will be happy to see how these ladies turn out. They are starting to smell a bit stronger every week. Since I am using the Blumat drip system these ladies are pretty much on autopilot from here. Thanks again to Zamnesia and Plagron for Sponsoring. See you next week and happy growing.

Greenthumb85 The grow is going well and there are very big differences between all 3 plants. The height: Plant 1 (left): 115 cm tall Plant 2 (middle): 84 cm tall Plant 3 (right): 130 cm tall As 2 plants stretched all the way into the LED light, I have now tied them to the back of the tent. This results in the top colas being pulled sideways away from the center of the LED and reducing the light intensity. The top colas closest to the LED have shown some signs of stress. Slight burning and foxtailing of the top colas is the result of this. However the problem should be solved as they now receive substantially less light. The plants are also very different in their development. Plant 1 (left): still is full of white hairs, bud development is a little slower, moderate trichrome production. I think this plant will take the longest to finish. Plant 2 (middle): most hairs have turned orange, most bud development of all 3 plants and good trichrome production. I feel this plant will be finished the earliest. Plant 3 (right): a mix of white and orange hairs, bud development and trichrome production is ok. I feel this plant will finish in-between the other 2 plants. So far I am happiest with the middle plant (plant 2). It has the nicest bud development and overall looks the prettiest so far. However, in the end we will have to see how the end product turns out. The prettiest plant isn't always the best smoke. So let's see what these ladies do towards the end of flower. I'm using Plagron Green Sensation for the end of flower to help bud production. So far so good. Thanks again to Plagron and Zamnesia for sponsoring the comp and the grow. Happy growing and see you next week.

Greenthumb85 Another week done. Not really much to report. The ladies are on cruise control. The buds are fattening up and starting to put on some serious weight. Should be a good harvest. PPFD is averaging 900. The ladies seem to enjoy it. Leaves are all in the praying position, which is a good sign that the girls have what they need. I have been using Plagron Green Sensation to support bud development. Thanks again to the sponsors Plagron and Zamnesia. See you next week. Happy growing.

Greenthumb85 So this grow is slowly going to finish. Most of the trichromes have turned milky and the first signs of amber are starting to show. The ladies have been fattening up and the nuggets are looking pretty frosty. The girls are stinky and sweet. Switching to the automated watering has made a huge difference. The girls are starting to slow down on water uptake and the leaves are starting to fade. The ladies all look quite different with 2 very distinct pheno types showing. One pheno of a short plant with lots of orange hairs and very dense nuggets. The other pheno is very tall with more white hairs and fluffier bud structure. I will harvest these ladies within the next 2 weeks, depending on how the trichromes develop. I have been using Plagron Green Sensation to help bud development. Thanks again to the sponsors Zamnesia and Plagron. See you next week and happy growing.

Greenthumb85 We have reached the final week of flower with these ladies. I plan to harvest these girls within the next few days. The trichromes are pretty much all cloudy with some slowly starting to turn amber. Allot of the leaves have started to turn yellow and are slowly dying. It's natural life cycle is slowly coming to an end. By leaving the window cracked at night, cold air has been allowed in to cool down the room. This helps simulate the autumn and tells the plant it's time to finish. The girls are drinking allot less water. The buds have swelled up and are very sticky. One plant is quite greasy and super sticky. All have quite a sweet smell. Looking forward to the dry and cure to see how they turn out. I have been using the Plagron Green Sensation to help with bud development. However, since we are now close to finishing I have stopped using it. The ladies are receiving just plain water. Thanks again to the sponsors Plagron and Zamnesia. Happy growing and see you guys for harvest soon.

Greenthumb85 So the ladies are still standing. I decided to let them go another few days to fully mature. They are looking very nice and the extra days were really worth it. Happy Harvest Day!

The strain Sticky Broccoli by Zamnesia has been very nice to grow. 100% germination of the seeds and strong growth from the beginning. Vegetative growth went very until I over watered the plants. However, the plants were very robust and bounced back to health very quickly after my mistake. Other than defoliation I did not do any other form of training to these plants. Growth was vigorous and side branching was good. For a mainly indica strain these plants got really big. 2 of the plants got so big I had to tei the main colas to the side of the tent. This gave them a little more distance from the grow light as I had first signs of bleaching. These plants were able to withstand quite allot of light. The main colas were very close to the SP3000 and handle the stress very well. Using the Blumat watering system the plants really exploded. The water on demand helped these plants reach their full potential. The plants handled high doses of nutrients. I gave them the maximum recommended doses from Greenhouse Feeding and the plants handled it very well. The flowering stage went extremely well. They were pretty much on cruise control the whole way. The Plagron Green Sensation helped get these buds sticky and fat. Super easy to use product and the results speak for themselves. I let these plants go a little longer than the recommended flowering time but it was worth it. The buds put on allot of weight and got super sticky with the extra grow time. The harvest went very well. I just chopped them at the stalk, defoliated the big fan leaves and hung them up to dry. They were dried at 18 celsius at 55% humidity for 14 days. The smell is strong, sweet and pungent. This is a very loud strain. This will turn heads once you crack open the jar in a room. The buds are very sticky and covered on trichromes. All 3 plants have their differences. 2 plants were very tall and one was quite short in comparison. One plant had allot of orange hairs. Another plant had allot of pretty purple colors towards the end of flower. Thanks again to the sponsors Zamnesia and Plagron for sponsoring this competition and grow. Once again it was allot of fun participating. I wish everyone the best of luck. Happy growing and hopefully see you next year for another round. Wet weight was including stalk and stem. S o here is the dry weight. Dry weight: Plant 1 (Short plant/middle of tent): 58 grams Plant 2: (Tall plant/left of tent): 75 grams Plant 3: (Tallest plant/right of tent): 78 grams

Greenthumb85 Awesome grow. Super easy strain and well worth the effort. Fruity, sweet smelling buds that are covered nicely in trichromes. Pretty tall growing strain with vigorous growth of the side branches. Recommend giving it a try. Thanks to the sponsors Zamnesia and Plagron. Happy growing.
