First dwc grow

Growfather1 Hello everyone, This is my first dwc grow and started with many mistakes high temperature used organic ph- and and other organic additives ending up with root rot on my amnesia fast clone. So i flushed it out with hydrogen peroxide and she is bouncing back. The seedling is from barney's farm it's a peyote cookies and is almost one week old. Let's see if i manage to grow this lady's into maturity. Have a nice day everyone.

Growfather1 Hello everyone, The amnesia fast clone is still recovering from the rootrot that caused a stagnation in growth for a while. The peyote cookies run also against a problem thinking about strong light as a reason because the ph was 5.9 this is often the case with my seedlings that I add to much light. Growfather1 Hello everyone, Another week has passed and the plants are still in recovery mode i see some healthy roots developing but overall it's still a terrible look. I gonna buy a water chiller to keep the temperature low as that is the main reason for the rootrot. I hope to have better luck in my next dwc grow as I learned much of my current mistakes. Growfather1 Hello everyone, This week i decided to remove the peyote cookies from the dwc system because the roots kept dying and so i decided to translate her to coco soil. I will start again after the summer with 2 dwc buckets for now i gonna continue with one, yesterday i changed the air pump to a stronger version because the spider farmer pump is way to loud and weak with the airflow. The amnesia fast bounced back but i see the roots showing a brown color again i hope after the air pump change this will stop i will also stop adding canna rhizotonic to the water to make sure only minerals are in the water. Growfather1 Hello everyone, Another week has passed and i finally see some growth but it's still not what i was hoping for. On coco soil this plant would have been twice the size it is now, I learned alot of my mistakes and next dwc grow will be way better. My water chiller is still not arrived so i keep the temperature in the tent at 19/20 degrees celsius until the chiller arrives. I gave her a good defoliation and will wait a week before topping her again. Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day.

Growfather1 Hello everyone, I am 5 days to late with the diary update because this plant lost on Saturday all of it's roots, so I treated her with hydrogen peroxide and after 5 days everything looks okay again. I defoliated her and stopped adding canna rhizotonic to the reservoir as this must be the reason for the rootrot watertemperature don't exceed 19.4 degrees celsius. Growfather1 Hello everyone, The amnesia fast is doing okay and will go into flower in the coming days. I gave her a reservoir change removed and many leaves and internodes. To prevent rootrot building up again i filled the bucket full and gave the roots a good hydrogen peroxide treatment including the main stem, i think there is or was some rot near the main stem that kept causing rootrot. Growfather1 Hello fellow growers, I finally put the amnesia fast in flower, to be honest i thought many times about throwing her away especially now the motherplant is harvested and she doesn't taste like amnesia this is a big disappointment. I removed many leaves and internodes i will repeat this step next week to prevent side growth and fluffy buds growing under a deck of leaves. Thank you for stopping by and have a nice day. Tomorrow i going to give her a good defoliation and will update the diary with new pics and videos. Today i tasted the motherplant she is dry and curing wright now she doesn't taste like amnesia at all so this is probably the last time i grow her. Let's see how she looks next week. Growfather1 Hello everyone, The amnesia fast is doing okay, i just finished changing the water and changed nutrients from aqua vega to aqua flores and added 3ml pk13/14 to 22 liters of water. Growfather1 Hello everyone, The weeks are flying by in the tent the amnesia fast is drink more and more consuming about 10 liters per 3 days. She will get her last defoliation in a couple of days and then she will get almost no stress from my growstyle. I placed a dehumidifier in the tent to counter high humidity 67% when the lights are off. I'm pulling about 5 liters of water out the dehumidifier per day.
