RQS - Tropicana Cookies Purple

gdogfunk So none of the Herbies Seeds Northern Lights #10 popped. But somehow, one of these RQS seeds decided to sprout in the 7 gal pot of my Barney’s Farm Super Boof! I tried all three seeds and none of them popped. I suppose it’s possible that’s a stray herm seed from a previous grow, but it makes more sense that it was the RQS still in the soil. I scooped it out and thought I cut the taproot, but she’s stable and growing!!

gdogfunk She’s growing nice and strong for a random seed that decided to sprout weeks later. I sure hope she’s not a hermie seed from a previous grow that happened to drop into the soil. It makes sense that it would be the RQS strain since it was the same pot, but I don’t know if I’ll ever really know!

gdogfunk She’s growing strong and looking great! I’m out of space in the veg tent until the flower tents wrap up. I really need to get her in a 1gal pot soon, but I think my last plant in one flower tent is still another week out.

gdogfunk She’s growing great! I’m harvesting the flower tents tomorrow so she will get transplanted and put in the veg tent in the next day or so.

gdogfunk Finally got her transplanted into 1gal fabric pots. I reused soil from previous grows, but amended the soil with worm castings, alfalfa meal, gypsum, blood meal and kelp meal. This is supposed to keep her from getting yellow leaves from depleted nitrogen in the soil and feeding on her own leaves. I also watered with 30ml URB and 10ml MFP. She’s on her way!

gdogfunk Huge veg explosion this week! I’m def needing 7gal pot transplant this week. I’ll make it happen! No choice now lol!

gdogfunk Wow what a stinky plant this early in veg! Just rubbing the leaves leaves my fingers absolutely reeking! Fun times!!

gdogfunk Well, elderly family issues have prevented many things right now, including harvesting and transplanting. So as soon as I harvest the flower tents, I’ll transplant and get her under the scrog screen. Sooner than later, I hope.

gdogfunk I can’t believe I missed a week! Life has been super crazy and on top of that, the LED driver for the white light on my lamp stopped working. So we have purple pics this week until I can swap the driver from another lamp. Hopefully I can get them in 7 gallon pots this week and into the flower tent.

gdogfunk Finally got her transplanted into 7 gal pots. She’s got a ways to go before flipping to flower. At least a couple of weeks. I had an extra plant, so I’ve got three plants in this tent under the screen. It might be overload or it might work out perfectly!

gdogfunk Another week down! She’s a lush green now with just a hint of overfeeding at the tips of the fan leaves. Overall she’s looking better and I flipped the timer to start flowering at last! She’s going to be a full tent here soon!
