UnorthadoxDude Sneaky little windowsill germination... lives!
So I bought a little 3x3x6 kit and set up as pictured.
Will stay modest and humble this time and pray for peace. π
The plan is to run four plants each in a 5gal fabric pot.
Strains chosen:
Super Lemon Haze - Green House Seed Co
Triple Cheese - Barneys Farm
Anubis x Sunset Sherbet - Pyramid Seeds
Dead Fred - St Aubins Genetics
The SLH baby is already going on the windowsill as per photos yesterday 28th Feb. Yesterday afternoon I put the following into moist paper towels:
3 x Triple Cheese
3 x Anubis x Sunset Sherbet - Pyramid Seeds
3 x Dead Fred - St Aubins Genetics
My intention is to plant up any germinators and to kill the weakest plants at the 2-3 week point leaving hopefully one strong plant per strain.
The Pyramid Seeds have already popped but I want a good tap root to work with so I'm leaving them for now. Looking to plant up and put in tent either tomorrow 2nd March or Wed 3rd.

UnorthadoxDude Well here we are again. The first veg week of a new series. Hoping to put past disappointments and traumas behind me.
This Super Lemon Haze girl is one of four plants I intemd to run in this little 3x3 with 200w LED. Much more modest expectations with this setup. Each plant's final pot will be a 5gal fabric pot.
Starting to make some progress on day 5. Now I have the younger babies to compare with she seems huge.
Getting a bit worried about her flopping over. Let's see what happens.

UnorthadoxDude Hello and welcome to week 2. I'm writing this on day 8.
This Super Lemon Haze is disappointing in her progress so far. I used to grow in coco under 600w HPS. So I do not know if this poor progress is due to the weaker 200w LED light or due to using soil. Still the only way to test would be to run coco or get a better light. For this grow I want cheap and cheerful so I'm not using expensive coco nutes.
We will see what happens. Hopefully progress will speed up.
Today I have dropped the light to 75% and raised it to ~60cm as, sadly, some seedlings showing signs of stress.
Dropped light to 50% will monitor over coming days and see what happens.
Day 12. Things seem a bit better I think I was giving the poor babies too much light. Hard to say since I'm inexperienced with both the light and the medium.
Way behind where I expected to be, way behind all my previous grows. Still happy to be growing again.

UnorthadoxDude Update day 17 (18/3/26)
Have transplanted into 1 gal fabric in Plagron 70/30 coco/perlite mix and fertigated with the new experimental nutrients and CalMag. Let's see what happens.
Day 20 (21/3/26)
She's bounced back from the repot. Today I have removed the leaves with deficiencies so I can monitor more easily.

UnorthadoxDude Day 22, early week 4 sees a healthy looking plant, finally. Happy to see her starting to come out of her shell.
It may be time to name this little lady.
Day 25 and growth is looking better. Colour okay, a bit of interveinal chlorosis, last fertigation I did 2ml/l calmag only. Will monitor the situation. She's starting to look happy. Expecting big growth in the next week to ten days, maybe time to top, or begin training.
Day 27. Purple stems are likely anthrocynins due to temp drop at night. Especially since it's only this plant and starts at the top. Have topped and take off top 2 fan leaves today. This girl needs holding back, the rest of the tent are indica leaning.

UnorthadoxDude Day 32 (2/4/26)
She is doing okay but have started to notice two issues first yellowing of newest growth which is a weird one to me. Second some eithrt P or K def symptoms on lower leaves. I have over corrected for Ca deficiency and accidentally blo ked P uptake.
Have today flushed with 10ml A & 10ml B and 1ml CalMag.

UnorthadoxDude Day 38, and I've transplanted into final pots.
Not happy with progress or vigour so I have today switched to Shogun nutes. From here I am in familiar territory with all except the light.
Will take a week for this girl to recover from the shock of transplant.
Day 40: Two days after transplant and switch to Shougun and look how this girl has responded!
I am expecting big growth now and can hopefully flip in 2 weeks.

UnorthadoxDude Hello there! Here we are a little over a weel later and look at the response from these plants. Just goes to show how critical the right nutrition is in coco.
Very happy with them now, though it's taken longer than I'd have hoped, I feel we are very close to being able to flip these girls.
In particular this Super Lemon Haze is looking great. She has responded well to training. I will do final pre-flip LST tomorrow and then flip them sometime next week. Maybe on the final day of week 8.

UnorthadoxDude Day 58 - 26th April 26
Heavy training/defoliation, this Super Lemon Haze girl is going well, flip imminent.
Day 59 27th April 26: Have changed timer to be on 1800-0600 and off between 0600-1800 so the first 12 hour darkness period will be tomorrow (28th April, day 60). Therefore this has been the final week of veg.

UnorthadoxDude Day 64 - 2nd May 26
The ladies a have been on 12/12 for 4 days.
Today I have upgraded lighting from Vivosun VS2000 200w to Lumatek Attis 300w.
Day 68 - 6th May 2026 - 8 days since flip
Pistil preflowers looking great.
She's switched into pre-flower and will begin to stretch over the coming week as she settles into full flower.
I am expecting a big stretch from this girl over the coming weeks. I'll have to be more harsh with her than the other girls.
As the last survivor of my Super Lemon Haze 10 seed pack, I shall call her Zarola.

UnorthadoxDude Day 79 - 17th May 2026
Zarola is rapidly stretching now. I have left the defoliation a bit late but I had to do it anyway since the airflow was not happening. Gone very heavy on it but it'll be okay.
Day 84 - 22nd May 2026
Starting to see the first light frost appearing. So far the indicas are outstretching this girl.

Middle of week 14, the fifth week since flip
.
Zarola has finished stretching and has now begun starting to bulk. She is getting very frosty now.
@UnorthadoxDude, I love the LED that I have. I think yours will impress you, but 6 plants might be a lot for that small of a light. Mine is a 225W and I'm already considering downsizing from 3 to 2 plants at a time for my indoor area (using 3 gal pots). I'm not experienced enough to have anything to back up what I'm saying, I'm just repeating what I have been taught.
@Kali_flauer, I plan to run 4, I've just started extra beans for redundancy. I will pick the strongest seedling of each.
Although with that said I have considered the idea of putting two plants in each of the four 5-gal pots - and training them away from each other.
I mean 8 plants in a 3x3 is borderline SoG method... might allow me to cut down on the veg time a little?
@UnorthadoxDude, oh that's a good point, I didn't think about running smaller plants. Either setup seems like it would work. Just depends on if you want more consistency or more diversity in your grow
