UnorthadoxDude One of four small plants for my 3 x 3 I have chosen to try the Pyramid Seeds beans I won in Diary of the Month competition 5th place. Anubis x Sunset Sherbet. I've germinated two but I will only keep the strongest plant. The plan this time is to stay simple and cheap. This will be a soil grow, a mix of cheap peat free compost, perlite and coarse grit. Both seeds have sprouted. I will keep only the strongest seedling to grow out.

UnorthadoxDude Hello and welcome to week one for these Anubis x Sunset Sherbet babies. Only the strongest will be kept into week three. I am interested to see how these Gold Line from Pyramid Seeds do. Daily updates for the first couple of weeks. --- It's not been going well. I think I've given them too much light. I have raised the light by about 20cm and reduced power to 50%

UnorthadoxDude Week two sees these babies way behind where they should be. You can see bad symptoms on the younger leaves, I think this was caused by light being too close. Since I raised the light a few days ago things seem better, luckily these are photos so there is plenty of time for them to recover. Update day 14 (18/3/26) Have transplanted into 1 gal fabric in Plagron 70/30 coco/perlite mix and fertigated with the new experimental nutrients and CalMag. Let's see what happens.

UnorthadoxDude Week three and these girls have bounced back from the repot, one of them is showing interveinal chlorosis which I will monitor. I have removed the deficient leaves so I can monitor. Day 19: Starting to look ok.

UnorthadoxDude Day 22. Plants looking okay. They start to droop a few hours before light out so I've raised the light again. Day 24 - two very different phenos emerging here. Have topped the lank one to allow other girls to catch up.

UnorthadoxDude Day 29. Plants looking good but some signs of P lockout/uptake disruption, likely due to CalMag over correction. Repot needed... time to decide if I should keep two or one and if the former whether to pot alone or together. Have today flushed with 10ml A & 10ml B and 1ml CalMag Day 35: I've transplanted into final pots. Not happy with progress or vigour so I have today switched to Shogun nutes. From here I am in familiar territory with all except the light. Will take a week for these girls to recover from the shock of transplant. I could not decide which plant to keep so I've kept both. Though the slightly smaller has less substrate as I ran out. May or may not top up.

UnorthadoxDude Hello there! Here we are a little over a weel later and look at the response from these plants. Just goes to show how critical the right nutrition is in coco. Very happy with them now, though it's taken longer than I'd have hoped, I feel we are very close to being able to flip these girls. These Anubis x Sunset sherbert are looking nice. They have responded well to training. I will do final pre-flip LST tomorrow and then flip them sometime next week. Maybe on the final day of week 8. 17th April 2026

UnorthadoxDude Day 55 - 26th April These Two Anubis x Sunset Sherbet are going well. I forgot to do a before shot, but today I did a brutal defoliation, LST and HST training. I will be flipping very soon, scrog net is up. Day 56 27th April 26: Have changed timer to be on 1800-0600 and off between 0600-1800 so the first 12 hour darkness period will be tomorrow (28th April, day 57). Therefore this has been the final week of veg.

UnorthadoxDude Day 76 - 17th May 2026 Day 19 of 12/12 Akhet and Solaris are well into the stretch now, and I have performed the final defoliation and aggressive removal of stems that will not make the canopy from here. Whoops! Day 76 should be on week 11. Day 81 - 22nd May 2026 Akhet and Solaris showing early frost. Day 84 - 25th May 2026 These girls are the shortest in the tent but are putting on impressive frost even covering big fan leaves.
