Jacks_Pot Welcome to my second grow report of 2026.
This time I’m going with two Zamnesia strains.
The first strain is Northern Lights. It doesn’t really need much extra info since I think many people already know this one.
I’ve never tasted it myself, so I figured it was about time to grow it.
The second strain is Purple Punch. Just like Northern Lights, it’s an indica-dominant strain
and should spend roughly the same amount of time on a 12/12 light schedule.
On 02/04/26, three seeds of each strain were sown in seedling/cutting soil.
This was pre-watered with Rhizotonic (1.5 ml / 600 ml tap water – EC 0.63 – pH 6.1).
The 0.4-liter pots were placed on a heat mat set to 27°C.
I never pre-germinate; I just place the seed about half a centimeter into the soil.
The seedling/cutting soil was placed in the freezer for 48 hours beforehand.
Since I started doing this, I haven’t noticed any fungus gnats during the first two weeks.
On 04/04/26, the COB light was turned on in the tent for 24/24.
The wattage was 50 watts at a distance of 45 cm. This resulted in a DLI of 19.5 / PPFD 225.
At that point, nothing had appeared above the soil yet, but germination usually takes about 4 days.
Once they show, they immediately get light. On 05/04/26, all the seeds had germinated.

Jacks_Pot I marked 06/04/26 as the first day of the 18/6 vegetative phase.
The COB wattage was increased to 60 watts at a distance of 40 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 19.5 / PPFD 300.
The humidifier is only on during the light hours.
I set the timer so it runs for half an hour, then turns off for half an hour, then back on for half an hour, and so on.
There is also a clip fan set to level 1, gently moving the seedlings.
This is also only on during the light hours, but runs continuously during that time.
During the dark hours it gets a bit too cold with the fan on.
Every other day I gave them 35 ml of tap water with CannaStart and Rhizotonic (EC 0.96 – pH 6.2 – 21°C).
The Northern Lights stretched more than the Purple Punch plants.
Not a problem, as after repotting they’ll all be at the same height again.
It’s possible that the Northern Lights will end up slightly larger overall.
Aside from that, development is progressing at the same pace for all six plants.
Temperatures fluctuated between 21.3–26.1°C and humidity stayed between 44–75%.

Jacks_Pot The second week went smoothly and the seedlings are right on schedule.
Each plant has started developing 5-fingered leaves, which means they’re ready for bigger shoes.
Tomorrow or the day after, they will be transplanted into 14-liter air pots.
The best two specimens of each strain will remain. I always sow a bit more than I ultimately keep.
I’m going to keep them on an 18/6 schedule for 5 weeks since they are mostly indicas.
This is what their menu looked like this week:
Day 8 – Dry
Day 9 – To 350 ml of tap water, 1 ml Fish Force, 1 drop Silic Rock, and 1 drop CalMag were added.
(EC 1.10 – pH 6.0 – 21°C) Each plant received 40 ml.
Day 10 – Dry
Day 11 – To 350 ml of tap water, 0.5 ml CannaStart, 0.2 ml Power Roots, 0.2 ml Pure Zym,
1 drop Silic Rock, and 1 drop CalMag were added. (EC 0.97 – pH 6.1 – 21°C) Each plant received 55 ml.
Day 12 – Dry
Day 13 – Same as day 11 (EC 1.07 – pH 6.1 – 22.5°C) Each plant received 50 ml.
Day 14 – Dry
The wattage of the COB was increased to 70 watts at a distance of 40 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 22.6 / PPFD of 349.
The heating mat was set to 25°C. Everything else remained the same as last week.
Temperatures ranged between 21.0 – 25.3°C and humidity stayed between 51 – 82%.
The average VPD value was 0.95 kPa.

Jacks_Pot This week started with repotting the 4 best specimens.
The pots are once again 14-liter Airpots. The soil is again from DCM (Bio – Home & Garden)
and was pre-watered with Power Roots, Pure Zym, and nematodes against fungus gnats.
Each plant had nice white roots and the root ball held together well.
Those 0.4-liter pots are perfect for the first 2 weeks.
The small heating mat was replaced with the large one and is still set to 25°C.
The second COB was also hung in the tent.
On day 20, I removed the lowest 4 shoots on each plant. I also removed the cotyledons
and the single-finger leaves. The Purple Punch #2 and the Northern Lights #1 were also topped already.
The other two will be topped tomorrow.
Per plant, I will keep 4 main branches for scrogging.
The week went smoothly overall; I didn’t notice any slowdown after repotting.
This is what they received this week:
Day 15 – Repotting day
Day 16 – Dry
Day 17 – 10 ml Fish Force, 0.5 ml Silic Rock, and 0.5 ml CalMag were added to 2500 ml tap water
(EC 1.12 – pH 6.0 – 20.8°C). Each plant received 600 ml of this.
Day 18 – Dry
Day 19 – 2 ml Power Roots, 2 ml Pure Zym, 3.5 ml Terra Grow, 0.5 ml Silic Rock
and 0.5 ml CalMag were added to 2500 ml tap water (EC 1.18 – pH 6.2 – 22.3°C). Each plant received 600 ml of this.
Day 20 – Dry
Day 21 – Same as day 19, but with 5 ml Terra Grow (EC 1.29 – pH 6.2 – 21.3°C). Each plant received 600 ml of this.
On day 18, they received their first foliar spray with Vita Race (0.5 ml / 150 ml).
The wattage of the COBs was increased to 130 watts at a distance of 44 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 26 and a PPFD of 401.
Temperatures fluctuated between 20.2 – 26.3°C and humidity stayed between 54 – 91%.
The average VPD value was 0.65 kPa.

Jacks_Pot The week started with topping the remaining two plants.
I also kept 4 main branches per plant on these. Tomorrow I’ll install the SCROG net.
They’ve grown fairly well and are doing fine.
Only Purple Punch #3 is showing some yellowing along the edges of one leaf.
It could be that I sprayed that leaf a bit too closely or something… I’m not really worried about it.
Northern Lights #1 looks the most lush.
This is what their feeding schedule looked like:
Day 22 – Dry
Day 23 – To 2500 ml of tap water, I added 15 ml Fish Force, 0.7 ml Silic Rock, and 0.7 ml CalMag
(EC 1.41 – pH 6.0 – 23.0°C). I gave each plant 600 ml of this.
Day 24 – Dry
Day 25 – To 2500 ml of tap water, I added 2 ml Power Roots, 2 ml Pure Zym,
7 ml Terra Grow, 1.5 ml Sugar Royal, 0.7 ml Silic Rock, and 0.7 ml CalMag (EC 1.67 – pH 6.0 – 23.0°C).
I gave each plant 600 ml of this.
Day 26 – Dry
Day 27 – Same as Day 25 (EC 1.64 – pH 6.1 – 23.0°C). I gave each plant 600 ml of this.
Day 28 – Dry
On Day 25, I gave them their weekly foliar spray with Vita Race (1 ml / 200 ml tap water).
I always spray the plants half an hour before the COBs turn on.
In the morning, plants absorb nutrients the most.
Within an hour after the COBs turn on, I also water them.
The wattage of the COBs was increased to 150 watts at a distance of 44 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 32 / PPFD of 494.
Temperatures fluctuated between 21.7–26.6°C, and humidity stayed between 45–69%.
The average VPD value was 1.38 kPa.

Jacks_Pot This was the last week at 18/6 for the four plants. The SCROG net was installed
and the heat mat was set to 22°C.
All four are progressing equally well,
although Purple Punch #3 is slightly smaller and bushier than the others.
Their thirst has increased, as they are now receiving 600 ml every day.
Here and there, a leaf was removed where it was blocking light from lower shoots
and a few lower leaves were also pruned because they were getting in the way during watering.
Tomorrow, they will be switched to 12/12.
This is what I gave them this week:
Day 29 – To 2500 ml of tap water, 7 ml Terra Grow, 0.7 ml Silic Rock, and 0.7 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.54 – pH 6.2 – 20.8°C). Each plant received 600 ml of this solution.
Day 30 – To 2500 ml of tap water, 15 ml Fish Force, 0.7 ml Silic Rock, and 0.7 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.36 – pH 6.0 – 21.5°C). Each plant received 600 ml of this solution.
Day 31 – To 2500 ml of tap water, 2 ml Power Roots, 2 ml Pure Zym, 5 ml Terra Grow, 1.5 ml Sugar Royal,
0.7 ml Silic Rock, and 0.7 ml CalMag were added (EC 1.51 – pH 6.0 – 23.0°C). Each plant received 600 ml of this solution.
Day 32 – Same as Day 29, but with 5 ml Terra Grow (EC 1.36 – pH 6.2 – 20.1°C). Each plant received 600 ml.
Day 33 – Same as Day 31 (EC 1.42 – pH 6.2 – 22.6°C). Each plant received 600 ml.
Day 34 – Same as Day 32 (EC 1.29 – pH 6.2 – 22.3°C). Each plant received 600 ml.
Day 35 – Same as Day 31 (EC 1.47 – pH 6.2 – 21.9°C). Each plant received 600 ml.
On Day 32, they received their weekly Vita Race foliar spray (1.2 ml / 250 ml).
The COB wattage was increased to 190 watts at a distance of 44 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 40 and a PPFD of 617.
Temperatures fluctuated between 20.5–25.1°C, while humidity remained between 54–71%.
The average VPD value was 1.11 kPa.

Jacks_Pot The plants are doing great and making excellent progress.
The ScrOG net will definitely fill up nicely.
They’re also drinking well. The Purple Punches are still fine with 800 ml,
while the Northern Lights are the heavy drinkers at 1200 ml per plant every 24 hours.
A few lower branches were removed,
along with some larger fan leaves that were blocking the light.
This was their menu for the week:
Day 36 – Added 8 ml Terra Grow, 1 ml Silic Rock, and 1 ml CalMag to 3000 ml tap water
(EC 1.49 – pH 6.2 – 21.1°C). Each plant received between 600 ml and 800 ml.
Day 37 – Added 18 ml Fish Force, 1 ml Silic Rock, and 1 ml CalMag to 3000 ml tap water
(EC 1.54 – pH 6.0 – 22.1°C). Each plant received between 600 ml and 800 ml.
Day 38 – Added 2 ml Power Roots, 3 ml Pure Zym, 6 ml Terra Grow, 2 ml Sugar Royal,
3 ml Power Buds, 1 ml Silic Rock, and 1 ml CalMag to 3000 ml tap water
(EC 1.49 – pH 6.0 – 20.3°C). Each plant received between 600 ml and 800 ml.
Day 39 – Same as Day 36 (EC 1.50 – pH 6.2 – 20.5°C).
Each plant received between 600 ml and 800 ml.
Day 40 – Same as Day 37 (EC 1.49 – pH 6.2 – 22.5°C).
Each plant received between 600 ml and 800 ml.
Day 41 – Added 11 ml Terra Grow, 1.6 ml Silic Rock, and 1.6 ml CalMag to 4000 ml tap water
(EC 1.53 – pH 6.0 – 21.4°C). Each plant received between 800 ml and 1200 ml.
Day 42 – Added 2 ml Power Roots, 4 ml Pure Zym, 9 ml Terra Grow, 3 ml Sugar Royal,
4 ml Power Buds, 1.6 ml Silic Rock, and 1.6 ml CalMag to 4000 ml tap water
(EC 1.58 – pH 6.0 – 21.5°C). Each plant received between 800 ml and 1200 ml.
On Day 39 they received their weekly shower with Vita Race (1.5 ml / 300 ml tap water).
The wattage of the COBs was increased to 210 watts at a distance of 44 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 28 and a PPFD of 648.
The humidifier will no longer be used next week.
The plants are now large enough to maintain higher humidity levels on their own.
Once flowering begins, the dehumidifier will be connected.
Temperatures fluctuated between 17.8°C and 24.3°C, while humidity stayed between 48% and 69%.
The average VPD value was 1.00 kPa.

Jacks_Pot No problems to report, everything is going smoothly.
I can now also say with reasonable certainty that there are 4 females in the tent. I noticed preflowers on every plant.
The most stretching is happening with Purple Punch #2, the plant on the left.
Their thirst has increased equally as well.
The Purple Punches drink a bit more and the Northern Lights a bit less.
I’m now giving them 1000 ml per plant every 24 hours.
This week, a bit more defoliation was done and a few shoots were removed here and there.
The filter sock was also thoroughly cleaned because it was overdue.
I’ll probably have to order a new filter soon, as I’ve been using this one for over 2 years now.
It still blocks the smell well though.
As for fungus gnats, things are under control. So far I’ve only caught 4 on a sticky trap.
They probably haven’t been able to cause much damage. The nematodes are doing their job.
This is what they received this week:
Day 43 – To 4000 ml of tap water, 11 ml Terra Grow, 1.6 ml Silic Rock, and 1.6 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.55 – pH 6.2 – 21.3°C). Each plant received 1000 ml.
Day 44 – To 4000 ml of tap water, 24 ml Fish Force, 1.6 ml Silic Rock, and 1.6 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.43 – pH 6.0 – 21.5°C). Each plant received 1000 ml.
This was the last feeding with Fish Force for this round.
Day 45 – To 4000 ml of tap water, 2 ml Power Roots, 4 ml Pure Zym, 9 ml Terra Grow, 3 ml Sugar Royal,
4 ml Power Buds, 1.6 ml Silic Rock, and 1.6 ml CalMag were added (EC 1.60 – pH 6.2 – 21.8°C).
Each plant received 1000 ml.
Day 46 – Same as Day 43 (EC 1.56 – pH 6.2 – 21.3°C). Each plant received 1000 ml.
Day 47 – Same as Day 45 (EC 1.61 – pH 6.2 – 23.5°C). Each plant received 1000 ml.
Day 48 – Same as Day 43 (EC 1.57 – pH 6.1 – 21.8°C). Each plant received 1000 ml.
Day 49 – Same as Day 45 (EC 1.57 – pH 6.1 – 22.4°C). Each plant received 1000 ml.
This was the last feeding with Power Roots for this round.
This week they also received another spray with Vita Race (1 ml / 250 ml tap water) on Day 46.
This was the last one for this round.
The wattage of the COBs was increased to 220 watts at a distance of 45 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 30.5 and a PPFD of 706.
The humidifier was turned off and replaced with the dehumidifier.
I was planning to wait a bit longer before connecting the latter,
but humidity was sometimes getting too high, especially during the dark hours.
The air conditioner was also turned on because it had become a bit too warm over the last few days.
Temperatures fluctuated between 20.6 – 26.4°C and humidity stayed between 57 – 72%.
The average VPD value was 1.01 kPa.

Jacks_Pot While the Northern Lights are roughly the same size,
there is a noticeable difference between the Purple Punch plants.
Purple Punch #2 is considerably larger
and has more stretch between the nodes than its neighbor, Purple Punch #3.
It is also the thirstiest plant, drinking 1,400 ml every 24 hours,
while the other is satisfied with 800 ml. The Northern Lights both consume around 1,200 ml.
I do hope that most of the stretching is over by now.
Next round, I think I'll let them grow for 4 weeks instead of 5 before flowering.
The first small buds also appeared on Purple Punch #2.
The other plants will follow next week.
A few more shoots and leaves were removed.
There will likely still be some selective pruning here and there.
Other than that, there are no signs of deficiencies or excesses.
I also don't see any pollen sacs, so there are no hermaphrodites so far.
This was their feeding schedule this week:
Day 50 – To 4,500 ml of tap water, 8 ml Terra Grow, 8 ml Terra Bloom,
1.8 ml Silic Rock, and 1.8 ml CalMag were added (EC 1.82 – pH 6.2 – 23.1°C).
Each plant received between 800 and 1,200 ml.
Day 51 – To 4,500 ml of tap water, 4.5 ml Pure Zym, 7 ml Terra Grow,
7 ml Terra Bloom, 3.5 ml Sugar Royal, 4.5 ml Power Buds, 1.8 ml Silic Rock, and 1.8 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.90 – pH 6.0 – 22.1°C). Each plant received between 900 and 1,300 ml.
Day 52 – To 4,500 ml of tap water, 7 ml Terra Grow, 7 ml Terra Bloom,
1.8 ml Silic Rock, and 1.8 ml CalMag were added (EC 1.69 – pH 6.2 – 20.9°C).
Each plant received between 1,000 and 1,300 ml.
Day 53 – To 4,500 ml of tap water, 4.5 ml Pure Zym, 6 ml Terra Grow, 6 ml Terra Bloom,
3.5 ml Sugar Royal, 4.5 ml Power Buds, 1.8 ml Silic Rock, and 1.8 ml CalMag were added
(EC 1.76 – pH 6.1 – 23.1°C). Each plant received between 800 and 1,400 ml.
Day 54 – Same as Day 52 (EC 1.72 – pH 6.2 – 22.2°C). Each plant received between 800 and 1,400 ml.
Day 55 – Same as Day 53 (EC 1.73 – pH 6.1 – 22.7°C). Each plant received between 800 and 1,500 ml.
Day 56 – Same as Day 52 (EC 1.72 – pH 6.2 – 22.6°C). Each plant received between 800 and 1,400 ml.
This was the final feeding with Terra Grow for this grow cycle.
The COB wattage was increased to 230 watts at a distance of 44 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 34 and a PPFD of 781.
Temperatures fluctuated between 21.6°C and 27.8°C, while relative humidity remained between 55% and 73%.
The average VPD was 1.11 kPa.

Jacks_Pot This week started with the discovery of a hermaphrodite in the tent.
The Purple Punch on the left had developed pollen sacs here and there.
Therefore, I removed this plant from the grow.
The other plants are progressing nicely through the flowering stage,
and I have not noticed any signs of hermaphroditism.
The fungus gnat population has increased significantly again.
There are already around ten caught on the yellow sticky traps.
Fortunately, the plants, and especially their root systems,
are already large enough that the larvae should not cause any major damage.
This shows that not every week goes as smoothly as expected.
This is what their menu looked like this week:
Day 57 – To 4500 ml of tap water, 4.5 ml of Pure Zym, 12 ml of Terra Bloom, 3.5 ml of Sugar Royal,
4.5 ml of Power Buds, 1.8 ml of Silic Rock, and 1.8 ml of CalMag were added
(EC 1.67 – pH 6.1 – 23.1°C). Each plant received between 800 and 1400 ml.
Day 58 – To 3000 ml of tap water, 9 ml of Terra Bloom, 1.5 ml of Green Sensation, 1.2 ml of CalMag
and 1.2 ml of Silic Rock were added (EC 1.87 – pH 6.3 – 22.5°C).
Each plant received between 600 and 1100 ml.
Day 59 – To 3000 ml of tap water, 3 ml of Pure Zym, 9 ml of Terra Bloom, 2.5 ml of Sugar Royal,
