RooftopFarmer Guava Sundae – Week 1 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026)
I’m starting this grow diary with Fast Buds’ new strain Guava Sundae Auto, a cross between Guava Auto and Sundae Thumper from Mephisto Genetics. I’m a big Fast Buds fan and have always wanted to try Mephisto genetics, so I’m super excited to grow her! ☺️
Started the seed straight into a 15L pot with BioBizz All-Mix, about 1 cm deep — no pre-soak, just straight into the soil!
On day 5 she popped up and confidently pushed the shell off by herself. What a strong and beautiful start!
She spent the first week mostly on a bright windowsill. I’ve been taking her outside for a few hours every day when the sun is shining, but I bring her back in every evening since the nights are still pretty cold.
Overall it’s been a really solid and promising first week. Can’t wait to see her take off!

RooftopFarmer Guava Sundae – Week 2 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026) ☀️
This week I’ve been putting her outside a lot more and she’s absolutely loving the extra sunshine! She’s now getting several hours of direct light every day and you can really see her enjoying it.
She did stretch a bit and got a little leggy (classic “asparagus style”), so I tucked some extra soil around the base to support her stem. She’s handling it like a champ!
Otherwise she’s looking healthy, vibrant, and strong. I’m genuinely thrilled with how she’s progressing after just two weeks. This girl has so much potential!

RooftopFarmer Guava Sundae – Week 3 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026) ☀️
The weather this week has been absolutely perfect, so she’s been spending almost all her time outdoors. She really seems to thrive in the fresh air and sunlight.
It got a bit windy though, so I added some extra soil around the base to stabilize her. She’s now sitting at about 5 cm tall with a beautiful, deep green color. No complaints at all, looks super healthy and strong.

RooftopFarmer Guava Sundae – Week 4 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026)
The weather has been fantastic again this week, so Guava Sundae is now 100% outdoors, day and night. She’s getting maximum sunlight and really seems to enjoy the full outdoor life.
As you can see in the pictures, she grew a bit crooked. I hope she straightens out soon. I used some simple sticks for support, but I’m still looking for a better long-term solution. She’s now around 7 cm tall with a beautiful vibrant green color.
I also gave her a light feeding of BioBizz Fish-Mix and BioBizz Calmag. I had deficiency issues last season, so I’m being proactive this time to keep her healthy. Any tips on how to straighten her out are very welcome!

RooftopFarmer Guava Sundae – Week 5 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026)
Another week of fantastic weather! Guava Sundae is getting tons of direct sunshine every day and is being fed regularly. She’s really soaking it all up.
As you can see in the pictures, she’s still growing a bit crooked and it hasn’t straightened out yet. The good news is she seems to be doing really well regardless.
I upgraded her support with better sticks this week to keep her stable. She’s now over 15 cm tall with a beautiful, vibrant green color.
