Z42 Photoperiod

Northern_Otter I Germinate seeds in a moist paper towel placed in a Ziploc bag half sealed. I place the bag with seeds on top of a ceramic dinner plate then cover with a black 10"x 20" tray. I set the plate on top of a seedling heat set to low. Typically after 24-48 hours I remove seeds from paper towel and plant root down into seedling soil. Just barley covering the seed shell with soil then moisten soil not saturate. Place in humidity dome until the majority of seeds have sprouted and shed their seed husks then remove from dome. 3 seedlings had trouble breaking free from the seed shell and got leggy as a result.
